ABSOLUTE TRASH!!!Where do I start?! let s start with the fact that they STEPPED with their dirty shoes ALL OVER the front of my truck bumper, used no car bra or protective cover to do it. When asked why they didn t use anything and decided to step all over my truck bumper the response was well unless you re 8 feet tall it s pretty much impossible to reach down in there. (Picture posted) SECONDLY, I paid a lot of money for them to change the oil and filter in my truck and replace with full synthetic; my truck NEVER leaks oil, I took it in (to a different mechanic) when it was time to get a new oil change they said I was LOW, because whoever did my oil change last didn t tighten it down and I was LEAKING OIL BECAUSE OF THEM! Not to mention, I changed my oil at 100,000 miles, they put on the sticker my next oil change was supposed to be at 140,000 miles (Picture included). THIRD issue with my truck when I had them change out all of my spark plugs for new ones (hundreds of dollars worth of work), they messed something up because when my truck would idle in PARK it would just SHUT OFF RANDOMLY.NOW, on to my Honda needed new back rotors because I was having shaking when breaking, replaced the rotors with whatever these cheap rusted pieces of junk these are (Picture included); was still having shaking AFTER they replaced the rear rotors, so took my car to McFaddens because Rome s is TERRIBLE, they told me looks like I need new rear rotors they are rusted and have lots of ridges in them, I told them I just paid Rome s to replace those literally less than A WEEK AGO! When I questioned Rome s about it, he got irritated and asked me why I took my car to McFaddens in the first place and his answer was simply that there s nothing wrong with those rotors. FINALLY, moving on to my mother s car.. she has an older vehicle she dropped there to get an issue fixed with the coolant, as he was telling her what the car needed, he added oh, and your handle is broke on the drivers door but you probably already knew that she said NO BECAUSE IT WASNT BROKE WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF AND HANDED YOU THE KEY!! They never offered to fix or replace it.Not to mention they quoted me $50-$60 for a TIRE ROTATION! I called Walt Sicard they do it for $20 and Mcfaddens does it for $15!Just TRASH CUSTOMER SERVICE and even TRASHIER MECHANICAL SERVICE. WARNING: DO NOT BRING ANY OF YOUR VEHICLES TO GET WORK DONE AT ROMES!!! I ve regretted everytime I ve taken both of my vehicles there and wish that I hadn t! BEWARE!

Been there a couple times having tire's changed out. Took my 2005 Chevrolet trailblazer LS in for a front end alignment at 11A.M. called me by 12:30 telling me it was ready to go and price was very reasonable.

I started 2024 off with a broken tie rod stranded 60 miles from home. Rome's was nearby and had great reviews so I towed my 24 year old Grand Marquis there. They had my vehicle fixed within 4 hours the next day after I ok'd the repairs. Keith called with the great news that my vehicle was not only repaired but would actually cost me $42 less than he originally quoted! Great work and honest service. keep it up guys!

Had a leaky air valve on a tire, so I brought it here. The people here were really friendly, quick, and the service was cheap as well. Was in and out of this place within 15 minutes. Would highly recommend this place if you need tire work.

Had a nail in the tire on a road trip, this place was literally 1 mile down the road. We were immediately seen and had the tire repaired in less than 10 minutes. Fast and affordable service

I can't express enough how much I appreciate Jordan's help the other day when I had an unrepairable nail in my tire. Not only did Romes have my tires in stock (the only place in miles that did), he and the team were so fast and got four new tires on my car in less than 45 minutes. The price was reasonable, service was friendly and speedy, and Romes made a small crisis so much better.While we were waiting for our tires, there was another person waiting for her car to be serviced. She told us that she and her family had been coming to Romes for years, and that we had "come to the right place!" Clearly, we did! :)

Showed up bright and early on a Monday morning and Keith rapidly fixed a plugged tire. Price was fair. He's a good guy. Old school service station with great quality service

While the service was quick and they fixed the issue, they threw in extra charges unnecessarily and took advantage of the fact that my wife was the one answering the phone and dealing with them. We dropped her car off to have the alternator replaced as I didn t have time to do it because I work full time as an electrician and part time as a charter captain. When we dropped it off I informed the gentleman at the desk that I had tested the alternator and it was putting out 3.6 VDC when the car was running and she had lost air conditioning, radio, and power steering (power steering is electric on her vehicle). The said no problem, we ll have it done by the end of the week. She went to pick it up and they had included a $105 charge for a diagnostic fee and to replace a fuse. I m not sure if the shop rate but if you can t throw a multimeter on it and throw a fuse in it in less than a minute, perhaps electrical isn t your forte. Regardless, the service was prompt and appreciated, the I told her everything over the phone excuse is clearly just a coverup for this way an easy way to make an extra $100 because I didn t have to talk to her husband .

I was super impressed with the willingness to help us find a high quality used tire for an extremely affordable price. The guy there even went out of his way to try and locate some of a different size for us as well. Definitely will be going to Romes again in the future for other automotive needs!

New to South Haven. I was very impressed with Romes. I dropped my car on a Thursday night and it was done by Friday late afternoon. Keith called me Friday morning to tell me what was wrong and was very responsive and answered all of my questions prior to fixing anything. I was impressed and will use them again in the future if needed.

I was visiting my mom in South Haven and my car just began randomly not starting. The battery would come on but the engine wouldn t turn over. These guys were champs to fit me in on a very busy day and had the best customer service I ve ever experienced. Price was very reasonable as well. My car is doing great. They completely deserve your business. Take your car here!!

Our travel trailer got two flat tires on our way through South Haven. Called and the kind gentleman said he had exactly what we needed. We drove the short mile from the highway to the station. Two mechanics immediately met us and worked on replacing the tires. We were out in under 10 minutes. Great service!Service: TiresService: Tires

I had to have a new fuel pump installed when I broke down in Davenport, IA on my way from Oregon to South Haven, MI. Turns out that the fuel pump that had been installed in Davenport had a bad sender and my gas gauge did not register. So, despite some protest over having to use an after-market part (since a new one was under warranty) instead of genuine Toyota parts, Keith and the guys at Rome s replaced it and checked out the whole car before I drove back. They did a wonderful job and I was able to drive back home without any problems! Thank you, guys!They also work on my mother's car and she loves 'em!Service: Auto A/C recharge

WOW just wow. My car broke down at 10pm on a Friday after 5h of driving and after the runaround with the tow and insurance companies to figure out where to take drop my car I finally randomly went with Romes. I'm so glad I did. I called them first thing Saturday morning and they said it would be a tight day as it was a Saturday but they'd try to get to it. 2 hours later I got a call that it was up and running and they'd test driven it. It was much less expensive than I was expecting and the person I spoke to on the phone was so nice and explained everything to me (and my mom when she called after me). Mechanis was Dillon. Thanks to everyone at Romes for saving my weekend in Michigan

I was driving from Ann Arbor to South Haven and noticed that my air pressure in my back left tire was low. I called various auto shops in South Haven on my way out west and was directed to Romes Standard Service. Andy was incredibly kind, helpful and quick. I was able to get in and get out within 20 mins. Can t thank these guys enough. They are top notch. Would highly recommend this place for quick repairs :)Service: Tires

5-star service. Stopped in South Haven to visit family with boat on trailer... noticed one of the trailer tires was pretty bare. Romes had me come in within the hour and was practically jacking-up the trailer before I had it parked. 2 new radials for the trailer and was in/out within 30 mins for a great price. Highly recommend this gem of a classic service station.

This shop is the most professional that I have ever been to. They were quick, considerate and compassionate. When a part couldn't be found locally they made sure to let me know what was happening and called me when the part came in. The cost was lower than the quote I was given. Visiting from out of town. Had a flat tire. Their technician Andy helped me out. Tire fixed in 30 mins for a reasonable price. Excellent work and friendly environment. Would highly recommend.

We were on vacation and had a tire puncture. Pulled up and the gentlemen immediately came up to help and within minutes he had the tire off and working on the repair. He was extremely nice and helpful. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and very reasonable tire repair charge.

No nonsense and no wasted motion! I was far from home when the low pressure light went on. I went to Romes' and they took me immediately. I watched the mechanic remove the wheel and then check the tire for leaks. The tire itself was fine but there was slow leak tire and rim. He removed the tire, cleaned the rim, applied the sealant, returned the tire to the rim, and reattached the wheel. From start to finish it took him (at most) ten minutes, and then I was on my way. It was like a pit stop in a car race.Service: Tires

Rome's is the best service station in South Haven. I got a flat tire in the Walmart parking lot, I called them they gave me the number of a tow service; Harbor Tow Service came within 15 minutes towed me to Rome's who replaced my flat tire immediately. They are friendly, helpful and diligent.

When we had a flat tire 2 miles away, we were delighted to see my their website that they were open. BUT THEY WERE NOT. Ayy 3pm on a Saturday, when their posted hours and website both declared them open, they were shut up tight.

Outstanding customer service! Needed a tire repair and got us in and out in just a few minutes. As a professional mechanic myself, watched them do the repair to ASE standards and even remembered to torque the lug nuts when done. This country could use more technicians like them.

I don't usually take the time to post my opinion, but after reading the negative comments I must appeal: Keith and the other folks that work at Rome's have been nothing but friendly, helpful and honest. We have taken our cars in there at times thinking that we were going to have to have a major repair only to have them tell us it was something simple. Any car we have taken there, old or newer, has been well cared for at very reasonable prices. Just yesterday I had to go there as there was a nail in my car tire and they fit me right in and they were very gracious. While I don't hope to have many car repairs in the future, I am thankful that Rome's is there and ready to help when we need them.

Awesome shop. Very friendly and helpful staff. My car was in and out. And that's because they already had a very busy day scheduled.. I had an overheating problem. They figured it out very quickly and it was very inexpensive. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone.

Had a track day scheduled for Monday at 8 am and was looking for a place to mount tires. Pulled into Rome's at 7am right when they opened and (Tristin) was happy to change my tires for me without any appointment! Great friendly employees at this place, I highly recommend!
