The smaller bolts next to the bolts for my front calipers are what I went in for but chris faught with me 10 minutes about how I was wrong. I came in just wanting to make sure I was leaving with correct parts and was respectful and he clearly had no idea what he was talking about. I was a mechanic for 3 years and did brakes all the time before changing career to IT so I know what I m doing and I specialized in ford. But I figured I would give me the benefit of the doubt and wasn t going to fight with him on it anymore. Called them back and Vince answered the phone and was just as unhelpful and not very empathetic and apologetic to my situation. The fact Chris is the assistant manager is beyond me and he should not be in a management position with his lack of customer service skills and knowledge. I even told them my car has drum brakes in the rear so there is no way for them to have those bolts in the back cause it does not have a caliper. The lack of accountability and respect given to customers from both Vince and Chris is shameful. I am going to a completely other location to return my 80$ in parts for brakes that I have purchased cause they were disrespectful and argumentative with customers immediately before they can even get a word out. I asked Chris if he had the parts in stock twice then the third time he got all snippy and said That s what I m writing down instead of letting me that they had them in stock and that he is going to retrieve them in a respectful way

My family has been going to the O'Reilly's at 21-mile road and Van Dyke Ave. in Utica MI since it changed from Murrays. My elderly father went in yesterday 3/19 because he needed windshield wiper blades for his truck. The gentleman who assisted him was very rude and not compassionate. My father recently had surgery on his hands and his mobility is very hindered. The employee assisted him with finding the ones he needed but when my father asked for assistance putting them on the employee replied "I don't do that". My father stated that he thought they assisted with that. He replied with well O'Reilly may but I do not. The employee with an attitude then grabbed his jacket and followed my father outside. While outside my father was watching what the employee was doing because he wanted to see how the clips came off. The employee then stated to him "Why are you watching me do this if you can't do it yourself" My father told him about the surgery and how he would usually do this himself he just can not while recovering. The employee continued to have an attitude stating several remarks about how he should not be responsible for doing this. I am very shocked by this experience because that is not ok to do when someone asks for assistance. I informed my father to not return to that store anymore if that is how someone is to be treated. There are many other places we can go that will be happy to assist.

Chris, one of the customer service attendant doesn't know didly about cars and acts like he knows everything. Comes with a bad attitude when proven wrong. I would have been better off with an automated system. Go work at McDonald's flipping burgers. Chris should not be customer facing.

Horrible experience!!!! Had to listen to a gentleman who works their with a big afro, swear and cuss , using bad language to a fellow worker about a management job or test he did not get. The way he talked and acted after his venting to a fellow co worker toward me was not exactly nice. Will not go their again. No wonder why he cannot achieve management.

Pretty good store, usually helpful & products are good. Not quite as busy as the other parts stores around here, or should I say not a line like the others. Sprayed the rims black, the tail & head lights both with removable products.

Chris shouldn't be in customer service. Horrible attitude. Not just one occasion either. Multiple.Mike on the other hand has been super helpful and will go out of his way to make sure you get the part you need. There are multiple other helpful employees that work at this location as well.

This isn't necessarily for this store in particular but for an overarching policy or O'Reillys in general. Compared to nearby competitors, their tool rental policy is awful. I've rented many tools from their competitors before and in general you have 90 days before you can no longer return the tool. O'Reillys on the other hand you only get 48 hours. One would think they would at least try to match their competitors policy to entice others to rent from them. Especially for essentially the exact same tools. I wouldn't rent from them again.

Super helpful! I was having what I thought was an oil pressure issue. The guy helped me check oil levels and run diagnostics. He added a quart of oil & the yellow engine light code was for a thermostat. Suggested it was probably stuck open. And the next day issue resolved & the yellow engine light off. :) Great experience

Had an awesome educating experience here! Sandie was the most helpful and extremely patient with me, especially since i came in with random questions about a few different things. She took the time to step out and look at my car with me to help me figure out what i needed. Will definitely be coming back when i need to because of her!

Fantastic service! The staff were all very polite, incredibly knowledgeable, and very helpful. Store is clean and has a wide selection of parts and tools. Not a long wait though they were pretty busy between phone calls and customers. Would highly recommend coming here for the helpful and down-to-earth staff alone.

The staff here are extremely helpful - parts are parts, but people make the difference. On two separate visits, three different employees went out of their way to help me with minor purchases of less than $50.On my most recent visit - on a weekday when the nearby NAPA had closed at 7:00 pm? - the counter person at this store first assisted me in locating the build plate on my friend's car, then in identifying the correct touch-up paint. You can't ask for or expect better service than that.

Great service! My mom's boyfriend is fixing my car and sent me on an errand. I had no idea what I was doing. I gave the employee the original screws that I needed more of, and he found just what I needed!!!

This place is supposed to take back used oil but their tank has been full for months. Not acceptable!
