I went into Hayes Auto Repair for vehicle maintenance. Was greeted by the manager Justin and he assured me that I needed front end work as my front tires were worn out from inside. The team at Hayes Auto did the repair for a reasonable price and in efficient time, will look forward to returning to them for any future vehicle maintenance. Thanks

THIS PLACE TRIED TO GET ME TO TRADE IN MY CAR WITH NO ISSUES, CLAIMING THEY HAD SOMETHING BETTER & MY CAR NEEDED REPAIRS.DO NOT EVER EVER COME HERE!!!!!!!UPDATE! WENT TO A DIFFERENT MECHANIC AND TOLD THEM TO LOOK AT THE SAME "PROBLEMS" THIS SHOP FOUND. AND MY CAR HAD NO PROBLEMS. AND EVERYTHING THEY WERE GOING TO "FIX". WAS ALREADY BRAND NEW PARTS!!!I would give 0 stars if I could. BEWARE.Not impressed with the service here.Brought my vehicle in for a free inspection from a coupon. Just wanted a safety inspection. My vehicle is in good shape.It took them 5 hours, and after almost 6 hours, they called me back and said my vehicle needed $2200 in repairs. I was shocked to say the least.Well. I just purchased this vehicle 6 weeks ago. And the guy I bought it from is a mechanic and so is his father. They fixed everything before they sold it to me. The car is in awesome condition. No problems. No squeals, no noises. And I still have a good relationship with them.I talked with the previous owner and asked them if they thought the car would need $2200 in repairs in just 6 weeks, I informed them of the specifics, and many of the things this repair shop wanted to "fix", was already recently done by the previous owners. For example, the struts.With this information in mind. I told them I would just prefer to get a couple little things. And I can't afford $2200.They offered me a solution. This guy was waiting for me when I went to go pick up my car.He said, my car is not worth putting $100-$200 into. And I should just trade it in to them, in exchange for $0 down payment on a older model with payments. (MINE is a 2015, they offered me a 2009)I just purchased this vehicle 6 weeks ago. Paid in FULL. So I would not have to worry about payments and affecting my credit.It absolutely felt like a scam to sucker me into handing off my newer model car that is paid off. in exchange for a older model with payments and a lean on the title.It's a WIN WIN. For this company. But it is absolutely a LOSE LOSE for the customer.All I wanted was a inspection and they tried to trick me into giving them my car for FREE. and they can give me a overpriced hunk of junk with a payment plan and a locked up title.They tried to cover some frosting on crap and serve it as cake.Then when you can't make the car payment every month. They will repo it. Then they get 2 cars and you get ZERO.PLEASE BEWARE OF ANYONE THAT CALLS YOUR CAR JUNK AND THEN OFFERS AND INSISTS ON TAKING IT.I felt like this was a complete scam. So I took my keys and vehicle and left.UPDATE! IT WAS A SCAM!! 3 DIFFERENT MECHANICS AGREED EVERY THING THEY TOLD ME WAS ABSOLUTELY A LIE AND A SCAM!!!!!!HORRIBLE!They put on a nice show. But I did not fall for it.Will NEVER RETURN. BEWARE!!!!

They attempted to take advantage of my father by saying his transmission was no good and telling him he should get another vehicle and they would scrap his. After bringing this to another mechanic it was not only fixable, but only $300. Either a very shady business or they just don t know what they are doing .

Was completely taken advantage of financially. Brought my car in, it was "fixed" timely for $2500, drove it off the lot and realized the problem was completely the same. I reached back out to them and then they said I needed all new brakes and rotors because they found a new issue. However, all the brakes and rotors were already repaired before I brought my car in the first time. They quoted me for brakes and rotors and were "cutting me a deal" since this was my second time in and was not happy. I told them I wrote my issue down the first time for them stating the car is having issues with braking and releasing the brake. He said he doesn't remember what I wrote down.I took my business elsewhere and for $350 they completely fixed the issue and it was not brakes and rotors. This place also drove it upon my arrival, told me what they thought it was and gave me a quote before I even left the premise. They also drove it AFTER to make sure the issue was fixed.All in all, Hayes Auto Repair "fixed" something that sounded extremely urgent and recommended I don't drive my car any longer until it's fixed. This in turn made me feel uneasy about even driving it to get a second opinion. I trusted them and they took advantage of me for $2500 for something that wasn't even related to what I was bringing the car in for. Even if the $2500 was necessary, they didn't listen to my complaints of what I said was wrong and clearly didn't even test drive it after it was "fixed". I honestly don't think they even looked at my car. Then I brought it in a second time and they said I need new brakes and rotors even though those were replaced less than a month before.Don't care to hear your defense to this post, what you did was wrong and shady on so many levels and karma will catch up to you

I had this shop do a transmission line on my truck and fix my oil dipstick. communication was good, service was good. timing was good. will definitely come back for more auto repair work.

Store severely overcharges. I went in to fix a piece on my car, they told me to fix another one. Didn't end up fixing the problem and on top of of that, wanted to charge me an additional 275 dollars for an AC recharge in a system that was already full. Overall they will do everything to overcharge and take your money. I DO NOT RECOMMENDUpdate: I received a call from the shop, I'm not sure who I spoke to, asking for me to change the review. Not even a minute in, I was threatened with the mention of a lawyer. My review is made to share my experience with this company, not to harm it's business. I did not have a good experience, and I feel the need to share it. The person I spoke to also said "there may be other shops that can do the job for cheaper". There absolutely are, consider going somewhere else. I do not appreciate being intimidated with a lawyer for speaking my opinion. I also do not appreciate you attempting to silence a bad review.Service: A/C installation & repair

In the last couple of months, we've had a couple of car issues. Both times we've called Hayes Auto Repair, both times he answered quickly, told us to come up as soon as we could, and gave us a very good estimate. The work he's done has been perfect. Both cars run very well and we'll be using his services for any future car repairs we may need. Thank you Justin for everything you do as we appreciate supporting a local business.

Within five minutes of walking in, as I was explaining the issue, the man behind the counter (Justin?) asked, "why do you want to mess around with this. Trade it in - I have a car lot." I should have know right then...In telling me the estimate, Justin explained that they "inspect the whole car." He explained that the bearings, rotors, and brakes were shot and if I didn't replace them, "the wheels will fall off." I heard that from another shop a few years ago, so I replaced the bearings, rotors, and brakes then. There are less than 9,000 miles on those parts. If you vehicle is over 100,000 miles, they're going to tell you the bearings, rotors, and brakes are bad and your wheels are going to fall off. There's no way they even looked at them.The actual repair I wanted done is about 2 hours and the part is $17. I've seen videos where they can get to the part in 15 minutes. They estimated over $650. I declined.Honest mechanics can make a good living. It's shops like this that ruin the reputation of mechanics.

It was a very good experience. The people were friendly, the prices were good, and they did their best to try and stick within my budget. They did the work very fast and honestly was one of the best places that I've been to to get auto work done. I will definitely go to them again.

I took my Jeep Wrangler in for an estimate and I was greeted with friendly customer services and I felt welcomed.I am pleased with the work up that was done to determine the necessary repairs that needed to be completed on my vehicle.The job is very huge and I will be going back to have the necessary repairs done.I highly recommend Hayes automotive repair shop. Brake job and rotors look good, but expensive in my opinion. Said they fixed a seized caliper that would cost another $350 to fix but didn't charge me. No issues outside of price, especially since I've had brakes, rotors, and a broken caliper on my previous car fixed for half the price elsewhere. Unfortunately that business sold and they no longer do brakes.

I needed to take my car in for much needed repairs and ended up with much more wrong with it than I initially thought. Even with the sticker shock of that price Justin, one of the owners, worked with me a on game plan to get everything back in working order. I got my car back much sooner than I had anticipated and without needing to break my bank. Dishonest based on experience to buy a used vehicle. Exchanged text messages with Emilio on Facebook Marketplace. List Price: $8,500. Arrive at shop. Man behind desk starts his sales pitch. Vehicle price jumps up to $10,500. Reminded him that Emilio indicated in writing it is $8,500. Wait a bit. Emilio gets car. Get out of suv and says that they have a buyer that is willing to pay $10,500. Can I match his offer? Left disgusted! If the vehicle was sold, then just say so. If not, don't play games with the customers. Buyers beware!

Came into shop and owner was screaming at a client/potential customer for one of his used cars he was trying to flip/sell.. lied to me about multiple general car questions. Shops like this make people dread going to the mechanic. Not sure where all the good reviews are from.. but owner seems to be Chaldean so it s probably his family or close friends giving the reviews.

Yesterday was my first and last time to this business. My husband called at 12:00 and was told if we had my car there within 30 minutes I would get it back yesterday. We live a mile away so my car was there at 12:15. I told the man at the front desk it was my first time there and I needed tires rotated and to check my brakes. He told me it was a family owned business and he would take care good of me, no problem at all. Business closed at 7:00 so at 6:00 my husband called to see when my car would be ready and he was told my car wouldn t be ready until today. When he asked why he was told because we didn t bring it in until 3:00 which was a lie because my car was there at 12:15. We immediately went to pick up my car and I was hoping to speak to the man at the front desk again and find out why after having my car for over 6 hours they didn t do anything (car was still where I parked it at 12:15) and how disappointed I was for my first time there. Instead of talking to someone in charge I spoke to a man who didn t know who I was or where my car key was. I asked for someone else but he said he was alone. At the very least you could have called me at to let me know it wouldn t be ready on the same day and given me an option. And you definitely could have talked to me when I picked up my car at 6:10. I ll never go back again. Very disappointed indeed.UPDATED 7/12/22 @ 5:55pmThe business responded and said "stuff happens". I've been in customer service for over 30 years and I agree "stuff happens", but I ALWAYS call my customer (especially a new customer) to discuss what happened. Plus I don't tell them they did something at 3:00pm when they did it at 12:15pm. If you would have called me maybe we could have worked something out. It was my day off and I was trying to get my car taken care of. Instead I wasted over 6 hours of time and my car still needs a tire rotation and to have my brakes checked. While I appreciate the offer of an oil change and tire rotation, I won't be coming back. Plus I needed a tire rotation and to check my brakes.Service: General repairs & maintenance
