I am a long haul truck driver and I had struck a rock with my back trailer tire which bent the rim. Dons Tire Service wasn't to far so I limped in to see if they could help. I was informed by Mark (not sure what his position is) that they were closed and everything was shut down for the day. Sadly, there was nothing he could do for me. I thanked him and went back to my truck to see where the next location might be. It was late on a Thursday and raining hard! After striking out a few times I was just placing another call when Mark knocked on my door. I rolled the window down expecting him to tell me Id have to move off the property, but instead he said "back your tire up to that bay door. I'll fix you up!". I was floored! I did, and within less than 10 minutes, Mark had fixed my rim, aired up my tire and refused NO PAY at all from me!! He took a fist bump and said "just glad I could help you! Be safe out there!" You talk about an awesome dude with mad skills and a true heart for the needy! He was truly God sent in a rainstorm! If you need service from a straight up company...no matter what your locomotive needs may be, I highly recommend Dons Tire Service just to see if they could help! After over 10 years of going to this place, it truly pains me to have to do this, Mark. You ve bent my hand, please remember that.I had no intentions of ever posting about this, but my hand has been bent. I got my tires rotated here last season. They were over torqued and all 16 lug nuts have to be replaced. No problems, stuff happens. I gave mark a courtesy call to let him know that this happened, and that I had no qualms what so ever, just that it had happened. I wanted no money, no repairs from him. Just felt right, friend to friend to let him know it had happened. I had only told mark this, over the phone, and hadn t spilled a breath of it to anyone or how it happened, or who did it.This morning on June 6th I have a flat tire. I go in and ask for it to be repaired. I m told by the worker, who I will leave unnamed because he has done no wrong by me, and is a good friend, that I am no longer welcomed there due to said call, that I was squaking over the phone.My family has brought you business for years, sung praise of your shop all along Utica for over the 20 years my father has lived here.Not anymore. You will not see us anymore. No longer will we sing praises of the quick fix, easy going shop.Don t go there, their attitude and business outlook have clearly soured over the years. $40 for a rotation is ridiculously expensive anyway. What made it most sickening to me is that he made the mechanic, who adores me, be the one to say it.EDIT: as of today 10/24/23 my lug nuts snapped at a tire rotation, thanks Mark!!!

I was looking for used tires and Don had two, explained my price limit and set me up two new and 2 used for a 1995 Formula. Tires in next day. Great service, good people work for Don and Don aint so bad himself :)). Great Guy, highly recommend Dons Tire service

There was old guy there he was so unprofessional with me. He also was not respectful. With me and he got mad at me for no reason also he really races with me i dont like to go there any more

I purchased 6 RV tires from them and after we started then they raised the price 25 more per tire. They did not align the tire and steering wheel correctly so now my steering wheel is offset. I can live with both of those. After my first trip hitting the highway i notice a shaking when getting up to 67 MPH. I called to ask about warranty and the employee who answered was very rude and said it was a problem for a mechanic to fix. He said it would cost 70 dollars just to take the tire off and look at it.

If i could give them 0 star i would the worse place ever over priced and bad attitude from don and the employee called them asked for pricing and charged me double the price they said i was charged 200 for 2 tires to put on and balance unbelievable never going back don t give these ppl your business

Pulled the truck and trailer up close to the garage. They removed and replaced 1 inner rear axle drive flat tire on the Semi-truck and 1 rear axle, inner, passenger side, trailer tandem tire bald of tread. In 30 minutes or there abouts. WOW! Fast!!! Thank you Don's Tire Services on Auburn Rd, in Shelby Twp. Job well done for sure!!!

Still 5 stars. 4 tires changed. They accidentally marred one. They made no excuses, they got it fixed at my convenience.2 Trailer tires, honest advice. Extremely fast and courteous even though they closed 2 minutes before they stayed late and did the job.

These guys were very fast and friendly. Will definitely be going back for all my tire needs. I'll probably be buying a whole set of tires soon and it will be from them. I love to help out a small business when I can.

Perfect place. After trying to get a tire changed on my trailer all morning I got directed here. He had it done in 15 minutes. Should've came here first. Next time I will.

Family owned for decades and community minded; these are some good people here with some great deals on tires... 4 brand new tires mounted and balanced for $475 out the door in 20 or less minutes flat today...

I had gotten a flat tire and it was damaged beyond repair, dons tire shop was nearest shop in the area. They had put on a new tire at a fair price. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing staff. took them 10 minutes to figure out flat tire/ rim leak. Friendly staff. Charged only $20. Will recommend everyone to go there.

I pulled up with a bobcat Tire they had the rim off and the piece of rebar out of the tire before I could even walk back to my truck and back into the building....had me out of here in about 15 minutes. Great guys!!

after having my rim on my car split in half my buddy recommend that I go here I pulled up and was greeted with a angry dude who was not at all happy to help me fix my car so I took my money to someone who wants it
