Talked with Mike the owner. Great guy and great business! Really takes care of you. First time there and he is making sure you are getting the proper worth of the metal or scrap cars you bring. Had a 03 Focus from a project that was stopped. Looked up in Shelby and he was on there with great reviews. And so my experience has proven those reviews are true. Again, thanks Mike for helping me out and getting things sorted. Even hooked me up with a towing company to make it easier. Thank you!

John and Travis run a very efficient scrap yard.I am truly not a scrapper per se, but if I see a stove, fridge, washer or dryer I will snag it, load it, get weighed & drop it off.Cool thing is.No dolliesNo carts to off load ontoBut!A 70 foot long scale to drive up on.Get weighedGreen lot advance to Mt. ScrapmoreOff load.Re-Enter the scale, green light, pull around to the office produce valid government ID and get paid cash.Make sure you are dropping off scrap that you have the rights to discard.I've dropped off a dryer,=$13A washing machine=14Today(3-6-24)I rescued a full size refrigerator that I found sitting on the shoulder on John R and Long Lake.Tossed it in my truck, what's 200 pounds to me?No big deal.=$20Like John communicated to me today if somebody saw a $20 bill laying on the ground they would definitely pick it up.This is a hobby, walking around CA$HAnd an opportunity to recycle

We never tried scrap metal recycling before, and the workers were very helpful, telling us how it works. Very friendly. Office staff .great to do business with. Will definitely recommend to others.

This is a great scrap yard. The owner and employees are attentive, helpful, and fair. They all seem like great guys. And the copper prices were much better than the other scrap yards I ve used. If bringing back wire though, make sure to do any sorting beforehand if possible because, unlike most other places, here you pull up and an employee unloads straight from your car to the scale. If it s not sorted, he ll help. So you won t get gypped or anything. But it s quicker if you sort it beforehand. So yeah, try it out. It s a good yard

The guys at Apex were so nice and did everything to help get the most money out of my scrap. They were picking through the bed of my truck pulling out items i didn't even know were worth more money. Hands down the best scrap yard I've ever been to.

Can't really say enough about how great they are to work with! If you've been to other larger scrap yards then you know this place operates . Best operated yard I have seen yet!

Amazing, quick - KIND! I am a hairdresser who operates a low waste salon where we do not throw away our foils - and finding APEX was the best part of my week! And I feel great not sending my waste to a landfill!

Apex recycling is by far the best Metal yard in Macomb County. All the guys that work here are very helpful with any questions and etc. I would highly recommend this metal yard.

Apex showed great professionalism and went out of their way to help facilitate the car removal. Their phone quote wasn't bad, and when I went into their office, they offered me over $100 MORE THAN what I was quoted on the phone (!). I truly appreciate what Mike and his team did for my family.

Decided to try Apex Recycling after being ripped off at another scrap yard in the area where I had been going for years. This is a Great scrap yard! Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Fair prices, clean and efficient. Will only be going here from now on.

Lots of people are dropping off metal scraps here. Friendly staff on hand to help on a busy Saturday. They value your business, so this should be your first choice for metal recycling.

I've knowing Travis and Mike for a long time good honest people to deal with if you have a question they don't mind answering it. They're definitely good to their customers in my eyes the only place to go to Terry also does a good job in the yard keep up the good work guys appreciate your hospitality

Owner/manager is incredibly helpful and accommodating, and willing to work with you to handle your needs. I now bring all of my scrap here exclusively, most other places just don't compare as it concerns ease of use and the service and assistance that Apex is willing to provide.

I was looking to find a company to take my metal recycling to. Apex was local, convenient, and the staff there was super nice and very helpful. Plus, instead of throwing these items away in the trash, I made some money. Would recommend to anyone looking to recycle metal items versus just throwing away.

I have been to every scrap yard around and this is by FAR the best one! Really nice staff plus they py the best! I will never go to another scrap yard again, the scale is Convenient and another huge plus is they keep their yard tidy and clean. Very easy to get in and out as well!

Super clean office, and they were very helpful. I called looking for a part, they stated they would call me back in 5 minutes and they did. Most of the time you don't get a call back but they did. Will for sure do business with them again. Thank you Apex!!

I've owned a electrical company for 15 years and Apex gives the best prices . Just look for the bald twins and they will take great care of ya . I highly recommend.
