Today for the first time went to Gerry s Tire & Alignment for 4 new tires. Prices reasonable, outstanding service, knowledgeable & friendly. I was in and out in less than an hour. Love to support our local businesses.

The folks at Gerry's Tire & Alignment are amazing! I went there to get my winter tires switched out for my summers last spring and they were done in 45 min. I thought that was incredible compared to waiting over 2 hrs at the last chain tire store I used. It was worth the extra 15 bucks to be done so quickly and squeezed in so soon. I used them again this summer after I needed to replace my tires. I called on a Wednesday to see if they had availability on Thursday to put them on for me, as the tires were just delivered. I didn't think they would have the time or space such last minute, but they said if I was willing to leave the car they would be able to squeeze me in. I left it and walked home down the street around noon and they called at 2:30 saying my tires were all done and ready for pick up. I was very impressed. They are all so friendly too and make me feel comfortable. I appreciate them and would recommend them to anyone in the Saline Area or surrounding areas!!

Really happy with Gerry's Tire. They gave me great service and pricing on tires for my cube van. Real happy compared to my last experience at Belle Tire. I'll be back in the fall for some winter tires. Nice to be able to support a small business instead of a giant corp!

I used this shop several times in the past and never had a problem until recently.In July 2018, i did a complete rebuild of the rear suspension on my car. As is standard procedure on a job of this type, I noted the position of the alignment cam bolts, and took photos of them before starting to disassemble the suspension. I then returned those adjustment bolts to the same position after reassembling everything. I then scheduled an alignment at Gerry's to complete the project.When the alignment was finished, the bolts were adjusted to a significantly different position than where I had noted them. I thought this was odd but I figured the alignment geometry had changed due to the new and tighter bushings I had installed.Several months later in November it was time to swap my summer tires for the winter tires. i was very upset to discover that my tires were completely ruined because they were obviously not aligned correctly! I brought this concern to the owner (who was in no hurry to look into it. Couldn't get me in for several days). When they did finally get the car back on the alignment rack, I was told that everything was in spec and adjusted to where it should be. When I got home I checked the alignment bolts again and somehow they had mysteriously moved back to approximately where they were back in July before starting my project.It was very clear to me that my car had been terribly misaligned and my tires ruined because of it. It was also very clear to me that the technician who worked on my car and/or the owner were trying to cover up their mistake.Once again I brought all of this to the attention of the owner. He told me he would work with me and give me a deal on some new tires. A couple months later, I stopped in at Gerry's once again to see about ordering my new tires. The "deal" was about $60 dollars higher than full price at one of the other local tires retailers. The owner said he couldn't help me because it would be money out of his pocket. Well what about the money out of my pocket? He made some comments about the questionable condition of the damaged tires trying to justify the situation by saying they were almost worn out anyway. Those tires had 9/32 tread on them before they were damaged and had plenty of life left! He finally offered me a free alignment next time. The more I thought about it the $112 free alignment doesn't make up for my $300 tires that they ruined!I get that mistakes happen. A good shop will do the right thing and eat the cost of their mistake to make things right with the customer. As far as I'm concerned, Gerry's owes me $300! I won't be returning, and I will be telling everyone about my experience with this unprofessional shop!

I have been doing business with Gerry's for decades. I just had four Michelin Defenders mounted on my 2017 Accord. Carey's prices are competitive with any tire dealer in the area & he stands behind his work. From brakes & front end repairs, to emergency tire replacement and repairs he & his crew have always delivered value and quality. Carey took over the business after his father passed and has done his Dad proud. I recommend this business without reservation.

This is an awesome second generation family business I just wish I still lived closer to my parents house in Saline ( Quite a haul from Rochester Hills but maybe worth it). My dad was friends with Gerry and its so cool to see his son living up to the high expectations his father established.I just had a 4 wheel alignment done and after my dad picked up the car for me it was still pulling to the right. Gerry's took the time to investigate and make it right. Turns out that the Discount Tire I used in Rochester to install my snow tires had directional tread backwards on some of the tires. This created an extra hassle for Gerry's tire but they diagnosedand corrected the issue and did so in a manner that I felt went above and beyond.BL- If you want it right the first time go to Gerry's

Very nice group of people; went in for an alignment. They were very prompt, informative, and didn't push anything; even told me to hold off on rotation.

Decided to schedule an alignment with this shop due to all of the great reviews it received. I definitely don't agree with the positive reviews.Called the shop, asked how much an alignment was, and was told $85 (never mentioned front and/or back). Gentleman asked why I needed an alignment and I told him that there was a little shake when braking, but that may be due to us recently getting new tires. He stated that I probably needed new brakes and not just an alignment, even though I never asked for a brake job. After dropping the car off, the shop called and said new brakes for front and rear would be $1050ish. Gentlemen stated that my vehicle may not even need an alignment. I said no thanks and he said, "Ok, we'll just do the alignment." (Even though he just said we might not need one) To be fair, I wanted an alignment because the tire shop I received my new ones from recommended an alignment.Upon arriving to pick up my car, the gentleman behind the desk said my total was $151.00. I said, I thought it was $85. He said, That s for front. That s why I say $85 or $125 depending on the job. Since we had to look at your brakes, I had to charge you something. Remember, I never asked for a brake job, nor a brake check. I feel like the $85 was the bait, with the $151 being the switch. Now, I ve never known one repair shop that was honest with myself or anyone I know, but I know I ll never do business at this location again. During this business environment, I d rather give small businesses work, but not if this is the case. Saline is a small town unless they know you or you have a connection here, beware.

Shopped the big stores and this excellent local shop was comparable. I have brought business here twice so far and both times I paid less than what could have been billable. VERY FAIR. Thank you guys and I'll be back in 5000 miles for a rotation.

I went to Gerry's to have a 2 inch leveling kit installed and to get an alignment. This was by far the best experience I've had with any auto shop. The shop manager Carey was who I spoke with, he quoted me a price and that is exactly what I paid. Honest shop that does good work. I will absolutely be back.

They do a good job and prices are fair. They're usually able to get me in the next day. My only complaint is a couple times my steering wheel has been a little greasy after they're done. I know it's a shop and guys have working hands, but keeping my car as clean as when I left it would be appreciated. Other than that, I've been happy.

There is really not a limit to how many good things I could say about Gerrys tires His crew is top notch and amazing at what they do. Kerry is a very understanding and kind individual who is willing to work with you. Another great aspect about this shop is that they allow you to bring in your own parts. I will be bringing my cars here from now on. They do quality work at a very competitive price and I have never had to take my car back because something was done incorrectly. This is an amazing group of guys and I highly recommend you give them your business or at least try them out because I bet once you try them out they will be your new mechanics.-Jeff S

My wait time was more than half of what they estimated for me. The price that I got on the phone when I made my appointment was the exact price that I paid. Employees were welcoming. There is a small waiting room with a tv and vending machine. I'll definitely be back and will be telling others about the great experience!

I like the honesty, dependability, punctuality, and friendliness of this business. I have been a customer for many years, and will always recommend Gerry s.One reason I always return is that I know Carey won t sell me something I don t need. My family has several vehicles, and we bring them all here for service. Over the years, on repeated occasions I have asked if I needed brakes, tires, or some other maintenance, and have been told not to perform the service because the object still had some mileage left. It can be difficult to find a shop with that level of integrity.

I had a nail in my tire and circled all the big guys in the area to get it looked at to be told I would have to drop my vehicle off for the day. I called Gerry s and they told me they could take care of it immediately and I was out the door 20 mins later. Super welcoming and helpful, Gerry s is the place to go.

I'm happy to say I'm very much a repeat customer at Gerry's. A great bunch of guys doing good work at a fair price. I've purchased many sets of tires from Gerry's and availed myself or the free rotation that comes with every set at 5,000 miles. They've changed my oil and done steering and suspension work for me, and I've always been pleased with the results. I recommend Gerry's at every opportunity.

My family has been using Gerry's tire for over 20 years. We find them to be honest and very competent. I have used them for oil changes, new tires, and brakes. I highly recommend them.Today, I brought my 2009 Ford Fusion into Gerry s to have a noise in the rear area checked out. Specifically, I was concerned about brake wear on the rear rotors. Jerry had the car for less than an hour and inspected all 4 wheels for break wear. The front brakes were not a problem. The back brakes might need replacing after one or two oil changes but they did not need replacing now. The problem is likely a bit of rust somewhere but this had no effect on the brakes or tires. No charge. It is more than nice to be able to take my car into an honest repairman and know that he will not unnecessarily charge me for work that is not needed. Gerry s had been around for a long time and they depend on their reputation. I highly recommend them.Update: After an oil change the Dealer said I needed new brakes and rotors. I saved $300 having Gerry's replace the rotors and brake pads compared to the Dealer.

Countless times, I've walked in the door with tire issues large and small. Service is always the same: Knowledgable, prompt, and respectful. I've never gotten the impression they were trying to "sell" me anything; quite the opposite, in fact. These folks exemplify a business that takes a long view of customer relationships. All this, and more than reasonable prices on all things related to automotive tires.

Really good shop. I had kind of a last minute emergency with my breaks right before a holiday weekend and not only were they able to squeeze me in, they fixed my problem right away and the price was totally reasonable. The techs were friendly and seemed very knowledgeable which was really nice. Would definitely go back here.

I keep bringing my car here because they are honest (a womans best friend) and do exceptional work. I had my brakes done and they oiled my doors and stopped the squeak as an added extra that I didn't ask for.This made my day, a little extra goes a long way. Thanks guys!
