After one experience, I will always trust them with all of our vehicles (personal and professional).I called 7 different auto shops after being stuck on the side of 23 and needing a tow. Nobody wanted to work on a diesel. Delearships were a 30 day appointment, most auto repair shops turn diesel work away. Felip's was recommended to me by a local auto part distributor that I know personally. It was my last ditch effort before having it towed to my house and then having to order ANOTHER tow once I found somewhere to take it.Got there about 10 minutes before closing luckily.They use a great software system with text message updates and proposals, everything is clearly written out and understood.They had fixed the truck and notified me within 2 business days, it was great!Not only that, I recently asked Phillip his opinion about another truck I was looking at purchasing, and he gave me honest feedback. Instead of just texting, he asked me to call him and he gave me 10min of his time to explain his reasoning - without charge. Phillip was giving me advice that would result in him getting LESS business - but they're honest, caring, sincere people that do phenomenal work.Phillip even reached out a week after picking up the vehicle to make sure I was happy and everything is running smooth...what?! I've NEVER had someone follow up personally.I am so glad to have found Felip's Auto Service in Saline! And so happy they're so close to my house! I cannot say enough good things about them. I've had MANY poor experiences with mechanics, and this definitely ranks as my BEST experience.

I ve taken my car here twice. Both times I had excellent service. The guys are friendly, fair and fast. If you re looking for a trustworthy mechanic I highly recommend Felip s.

In my almost 50 years, I've never written a bad review....until now.This place is extremely shady. Stay away.I took my car in for a simple oil change. $230 dollars later they are laughing all the way to the bank. When asked why so much, he claimed I needed an air filter and he replaced it without asking me. ( It was actually replaced 2 months ago and NOT bad). AND HE NEVER SHOW ME THE USED "BAD" FILTER. IT WAS A COMPLETE SCAM. I make it a point to support local small business. This one was really bad.Service: Oil change

So glad I was highly recommended from a family friend.. This place is also a very family friendly oriented business. Now there is a lot of auto shop repair places out there and they do make you feel like just the number, but this place did not! They sat down with me took the time explained everything to me and even showed me what they repaired. I've never been able to see the damage parts before and after. That was a nice added touch.I came in needed to replace catalytic converters and they found something else that was going on so I am grateful this repair was done right and won't have to worry about any future damage.They also change oil and do routine maintenance to vehicles so it looks like I'm no longer going to be going to the dealership for those types of services I'll be coming right back here to Felipe's.Thanks guys great job.. I forgot how it felt to have a nice quiet smooth riding car until I picked mine up yesterday

First auto response I ve had done since moving to saline.These guys did a great job and were able to fit me in quickly .Repairs were quick and efficient and pricing was solid.Will absolutely be using them again!Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

After the dealership up the road basically wouldn't give me the time of day, Felip stopped what he was doing, listened and immediately took a look to see if he could diagnose my battery issue. Good, old-fashioned customer service and a no-frills, practical, get-to-work attitude. I so appreciate this place and will be returning when needed and referring to all!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

I got scammed and overcharged for services and parts that I did not ask for. I merely asked for an oil and filter change. But they also charged me for an oil flush, AND an air filter, BOTH OF WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR!!!!! They were ambiguous with the prices, saying the price is decided after the service. I could have paid for the oil and oil filter (the 2 things I wanted to change) myself for a total of $50. instead, I paid $185.30 for parts and services that I DID NOT ASK FOR.Very untrustworthy shop, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!!!Service: Oil change

I've been there about 4 times with 2 different cars since the new owners took over (2012?) They do very good work at reasonable cost. In my scheme of things, this is a "gem" of a shop that should be treasured for years to come. Philip the father has 30+ years of experience with Ford dealers. Felip has about 10+ years and is surprisingly knowledgeable, and he's also very good in dealing with customers.

I can honestly say this is one of the best mechanics I went to, we was 40 minutes from our home and broke down, every where else was booked until next week, which is understandable, but we needed the car fixed right then and there or we wouldn't be able to get home or to work, they took us straight in and had it fixed in just a few hours, love this place and will definitely recommend a 20/10!

Working with Felip's Auto has been great - they are often able to work me in the same day that I call; they are good about keeping me updated on repair progress, and being upfront with me about costs and options. At some car places, I feel like the mechanics look for things that don't really need to be repaired, but Felip's isnt like that - very friendly and kind too!

Took a family vehicle to the store based on the recommendation of a local store. The Prius had a misfire code, and he mentioned a $165 charge if and only if we didn't do the work there. If we did do the work with them they'd waive the fee.They diagnosed the issue down to the fuel pump. They recommended to change all 4. I suggested that commonly it is the spark plugs and not the fuel pump. He didn't want to do it. I asked for a break down for the bill, but he laughed stating the diag is the diag and the labor is X and the parts are X. He refused to give information nor be helpful or communicative. He also wanted to charge for the diagnostic fee along with fixing it, even though they stated they wouldn't if we did the work with them. We took the car and paid him for the diagnostic service; to which he stated he had 25 years of experience which we didn't care for. He didn't tell us which type of brand were the spark plugs.We took the car down the road to another store. They were communicative, gave a break down of the bill, and they worked with us to try just changing the spark plugs first without a diagnostic fee before going further. They did exactly as we asked and told us what brand of spark plugs was there. Guess what happened? The car worked and never threw that error again. They were also cheaper, and said in 15 years they never changed all fuel pumps on a car, ever.So in short, this business is made of liars, thieves, non-communicative, customer-mocking, and disrespectful owners/employees. This is not acceptable and I highly recommend you avoid this business at all costs; especially if you don't understand how vehicles work.

Phillip and his dad were kind enough to fit my 1990 Lincoln and me into their schedule without much notice when I realized how bad my tires were. I was able to drive with confidence to an out-of-town concert. Thanks ever so much!

I have a 20 yr old car that needed a new fuel pump. Even though it was a big job, they found a way to get it done by the time i needed it. Great place!

I really don't even think this place deserves 1 star. They were not professional what so ever. They were at least $150 over priced than all the other shops around, AND they didn't even give us a receipt that told us what is wrong with the car after we PAYED $40 to just pick the car up after getting an estimate on it. Seriously terrible place to get your car worked on.

I've called, and left a messages numerous times over the last year. I have never gotten a response from them. So hard to judge the service if I can't get a hold of them.
