Top notch service. Quick and easy with an appointment. I had the same tire plugged twice from picking up a couple screws in the tread pattern a few months apart. The first plug held great and still does. Service during each visit was exceptional. No charge at all for each repair. I waited maybe 45 mins total each time. I really like the progress tracker feature you can access from your smartphone to check the status of your vehicle. WAY better than Belle Tire who never cares enough to give you updates along the way as you sit there for hours even with an appointment. The guys are Discount are the best. Thank you so much!

The 1st guy who checked me in was short, unfriendly. And inpatient. I was in a loaner car and did not know much about it, and he did not like that at all. It was busy that day, and he quickly let me know it would be a 2 hour wait, but seem agitated that I said I would wait. Hopefully, he was just having a bad day and thus is not who he it. They plugged the tire they could but left 2 unplug (pinholes as they said) because they were too close together. I went to A1 tire to have them plugged, and it's been a week already. I'm not sure if I would come back or recommend it.

Went to get one of my tire sensors fixed today. When i came to pick up my car he said that the error light is still on the dashboard because two of my other sensors aren't connecting now (he said the battery was low on them but they still told my psi on my dash). I just mentioned that i was just a bit upset that the light would still be on since thats the only reason i came to get it fixed, since it wasn t a dire need to get it fixed. He told me have a good day in a kinda pushy sounding way. And I didn't have to pay for the service. And then i got in my car and none of my tire sensors are working and connecting to my car.

Good quick work usually. Used to get better deals but now they don't do that. Better call around before going anywhere to finalize your deal. They tell you that they put on tires different (better) than Walmart but I am not sure what that means. Marketing thing as no one lers you actually see how the work is done in the name of safety hazard. Ha! I still go there but sometimes you don't have a choice!!

I started at discount tire in bay city and they messed up my order so bad I didn t want to return so I came to this one here on bay rd and it was all around a nightmare.. I got 4 new tires and 4 new rims they put them on without hub rings knowing they needed hub rings for them to fit correctly so I got up to 50 mph and my car was vibrating so I took it in the next morning and that s when I found out it needed hub rings they just didn t put them on when they installed my tires so they said they would order them and call me when they came in and sent me on my way but I just didn t feel comfortable and wasn t satisfied so I called up there and asked for a manager, kevin, who was very friendly and did try to help me. He offered to go get the hub rings from the bay city discount and come get my car because I was at work at hooters down the road. I accepted and he did just that. Then when I left work that night it was still vibrating. Then Frank ended up coming to get my car from hooters a second time and fixing it again and finally it s fixed. I appreciate the effort that was made to get the problem fixed I just would have hoped they would have just done it right the first time.

So I will start off with usually they're good. With that said, I had a pretty poor experience this week with this location. I brought in a flat tire/rim. The guy mentioned nothing was wrong with the tire but the rim has issues. (I remember him pointing out it was dented/he claimed he said it was a crack when I came back). Neither here nor there. Regardless, they replaced the tire for the $40-50ish dollars for my warranty and said it was good to go. Well, I was in fact not good to go. About 5-7 hours later, my tire was flat and there I was changing my tire to a spare twice within 24 hours. When I took my rim off, the crack was clear as day that it wouldn't hold air in the tire. So I had to buy a new rim and bring it back to have the tire/rim replaced. Well, I did that and spent another hour of my day here. The icing on the cake was when the same guy who helped me two days prior said "So it was the crack." So Frank knew my rim had a crack in it, and just let me leave the first time without even mentioning that I needed to replace the rim or even trying to patch it. Then on top of that says "It's okay" as if my spending another hour and a half of my week and having a second flat tire was "okay". Also, nothing was even offered for the inconvenience, I had to ask them to make sure my car got in right away to make up for it.

Looking to have my tires checked before a big trip and found that they were not safe for the trip. I was shown the reason and I then asked for a quote on new tires which I was given quickly and the attendant explained everything and my options.

not sure what the guys name was but i came in looking to buy a lug nut lock because i lost mine and was on the way to the mechanic, asked if i had to pay and he set me up for free! not a huge thing but small gestures like that go far.

Says they would guarantee the lowest price, but they charged a large amount without explaining the details until I found out. They did refund the charge.

Found myself in a bind and needed to get some new tires on my car asap. Called over to Discount Tire in Saginaw and was able to line up a set of tires to have put on in the middle of my trip from up north to downstate. Mike was fantastic, and got me back on the road in no time, helping alleviate what had been a stressful morning. Great place to do business, I ll be back for my next set. Thanks!

Had been a customer here for decades. They used to be competent. Had them rotate the tires on my new car last year and they scratched the rims all up. So much for my new car. This year I stupidly gave them another chance on a new set of tires, thinking the previous damage was just a one time accident. Not only did they swindle me out of $50 on the advertised deal on expensive tires, they gave the car back to me with rim sealant goop all over the rims and four different tire pressures, none of which were close to the manufacturer's pressures. 31.5 and 33 on the front, the door sticker says 35. Can they read? The car complained about it the whole way home until I fixed them. I have zero confidence that they installed or balanced the wheels correctly. Will not be back.

Took my car here because I had a screw in one of my tires. I was able to make an appointment which was very convenient because Belle Tire won't let you make an appointment for that type of thing. The staff was very friendly and up front about your wait time. They were quick and efficient, and I will continue to come back here instead of Belle Tire, where they are rude and make you wait 3-4 hours and never give an update on what's going on. I was very pleased with Discount Tire!

They make the decision for you what tires you're allowed to mount on rims. They wouldn't mount some new load Range C tires I had on 8- lug rims regardless of what my intentions were with the rims and tires. This was after I talked with them on the phone, took time off work and drove well out of my way to drop them off (they are one of the only tire shops in the area who can do larger sized tires) and leave them for several hours. Wouldn't recommend.

Always quick service here. I don't think I've ever spent more than 45 minutes here. That's why u only deal with this location. The one on Pierson rd in flint will have you waiting a minimum of 2 hours.

Four hours four F*&/8@G HOURS TO seal one tire and replace the windshield wipers. Never again. Will never return here

We were told we were showing tire wear when went for an oil change at the dealership we had purchased our car from. Only 32,500 miles. The tires were looking bad and the wear bars were showing. Told new cars being sold with not very efficient tires. Quoted a 901 price. Went to Discount Tire and were quoted 742 for the top tire and if we reserved a spot in 1 hour (our choice) we would be in and out within 45 to 60 minutes. We returned in 1 hour and were in and out in approximately 45 minutes. The purchase was quick although they had a large number of people looking for tires. Three representatives provided thorough explanation and reservation options. The job was completed quickly. The car was brought to the door and we were on our way. Recommend a visit to Discount Tire for tires and recommendations .

Make sure to set an appointment first but these guys are top notch and will always take care of your vehicle. Did you know that they patch tires for free?? That's awesome!I went in to get three tires patched for free but I ended up buying two new ones because they gave me such a good deal!
