My transmission lines in my van were leaking. Also my van kept making a rattling noise in the back. A couple places looked at it but didn't fix it. I took it to C.J.'s and they found out what was wrong and fixed it same day, along with my transmission lines. Very reasonable for price compared to other places and they got the job done! We'll be taking our vehicles here from now on.

I called to see if they could inspect a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. They were able to get me in and out same day. I even took it in later in the day. The gentlemen working were friendly, professional, and extremely informative.

I started taking my vehicles to CJ's earlier this year after being taken advantage of at a different local shop. They have always done great work and they're prices are great. I haven't had any issues at all. For about 4 years this was my primary mechanic. Saved cars that otherwise would have been written off, giving me 10s of thousands of miles out of my machines. Timely turnaround and an acceptable quality of work, no issues I can recall with the work done and the prices are very fair. This is a real mechanic, they can do everything and they never turned me away on jobs that were difficult like some places do.

This place is horrible... They see customers as cash cows. We spent in the two grand cash mark on simple repairs... They ruined my wife's vehicle... and when we went back to see if they'd make it right they said they'd have a look. Tried to re charge us for their mistakes...They will take advantage of women who don't know much about cars... They once charged me 170 dollars to tape up a wire... and 80 dollars for a battery not needed. They need to be looked into... I feel like they halfway fix things and break other things for future business... DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE...Service: Air conditioning

I went to this auto shop because of the great reviews and a recommendation. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't a positive one. I knew I had engine problems and a mechanic I saw told me what exactly was wrong with it and I relayed that information to the shop. After the shop performed a diagnostic, I was told exactly what the other mechanic (from a different shop told) stated and charged an exorbitant price for the diagnosis. In addition, I was told that it would be greater than $5,100 to have my engine repaired. I called 3 other shops for an estimate for a used engine replacement and each one gave me quote for less than 1/4 of that price which included labor. I'm not sure if this place is selective of who they choose to provide outstanding fair customer service to, but if you are a person of color, you should beware or just find another auto repair place. The sickening thing is, I'm sure even after this review, other customers will continue to provide raving reviews of this place.

Best prices, very very honest mechanics, and quickly resolved my vehicles issues. Moe is the Mechanic I use. :)

Took my truck in for a transfer case adapter seal. A few days later it was still leaking, so I had to take a day off and drive from Lansing. They said this time the transfer case adapter had a crack. So I had to go buy the part ($100) and pay them to do the same thing again.(over $200). Less then a month later it was leaking again. So I took it back in for the third time, but they refused to fix it and told me to buy a new truck.

My family and I have been taking our cars her for many years. Fair and honest people that won t nickel and dime you for major repairs. Locally owned business that has been around for many years!

I remember my dad taking his cars to CJ's since they were on State and Mackinaw at the gas station. Any repair we need now, we see Mo, Sally or Fred for help at their present location on Shattuck. They will tell you what needs to be fixed and what can wait. Very honest and fast.

Overpriced shop. They charged me $269.00 to patch a leak in my fuel line. Truck came back still not running right.
