I had slow cranking starter. Kind of like a weak battery, but battery wouldn't die. I've came to this location decades ago. I hear it has new owners since I was a kid. Still top notch place. The 3 people I talked to were very nice and knew their stuff. They directly told me cheapest/best route for starter. just clean it up and change solenoid. They even opened it up to show me how new it looks inside and didn't need anything else. They even regreased the gears inside since they had it opened. They told me all the options of rebuilding it, swapping for rebuild etc. But kept pointing out I just need clean connections and solenoid.You want an true old fashioned honest place? Absolutely come here. Honest people deserve to be kept in business!

My starter was trashed and needed a rebuild . I searched for a repair shop that would do a good job.they truly blew my mind. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes.Instead of buying a new starter $275 it cost $60 out the door.they resolved it fast.I am so happy with their work.Thank you.

These guys are knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, and friendly, as well!! I had my alternator masterfully and expertly repaired in less than ten minutes...for a very affordable price. Now, I'm back on the road. This place is a hidden gem!!!

This place is amazing at what they do, very knowledgeable, won't try to sell you anything you don't need, super fast. Built an alternator for my specific upgrade, clocked it properly, supplied the connections/pig tails. Then again go to them with a fried starter after parts stores new starter blew apart, these dudes rebuilt 1 for cheaper and with better quality parts. Both times they were done in less than 20 mins while I waited.

Absolutely the best service! I am a over-the-road truck driver and came in to get alternator fixed. They have plenty of room for my truck and and had they alternator fixed and ready to go in about an hour. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I visit this place for work regularly, they do have fast service and are extermely courteous. I can say they are ALL experienced and will get you together for sure. I have yet to have to come back because of any defect or misc problems with any of their products.

Napa in Belleville recommended I contact Ecorse Electric for help finding a charge controller (Voltage Regulator) for a 70's Ford Backhoe. They assisted me in troubleshooting over the phone, and I brought both the Alternator and Charge controller to them and they tested it on the spot. It was determined that the alternator was bad, they had an exact replacement in stock and swapped my pulley to the new unit an electrical drawing and had me on my way home within an hour. I appreciate the helpfulness and quick turnaround I highly recommend you call them for any electrical needs.

This place will have what you need on the shelf. I fix heavy equipment and use lots of starters and alternators. Best place to go for parts and experience.

These guys are awesome! They transferred the pulleys on 2 of my alternators and tested my Model A alternator on the spot. Great work!

Honestly did not know this place existed as I did not have the need for it yet and, it does not look open. The owner was awesome as well as his staff, got me in and out with the right starter.

Did not expect what happened at this place. Employees that were discourtius and a manager that thinks he knows what he's talking about. In my opinion a bunch of jerks. Will not do business with them again.
