Best place to have your oil changed! Keith is great! He suggested I try a high mileage oil and it fixed my problem. Competent people, consistently genuine and friendly. No hard sell for every service they offer. Just suggestions and the reason why they are suggesting it. I trust them.

Need a quick oil change? This place will have you covered! it s not a real big shop, but they usually have availability on demand and are reasonably priced. They even carry the special W0-20 DexosD Synthetic Oil my Diesel truck needs.

Never been more dissatisfied with an oil change! First issue, the manager increased the tire pressure from 30 to 40psi on the left side tires only. I said hey, what about the right side? He said he filled them and my pressure gage needed to adjust. Well, it didn t, and 10 minutes later I m driving back to get the right side tires inflated. Then, drove home right away only to find oil leaking all the way up and down my driveway! See pics. Heading back tomorrow to demand a full refund. I ll let ya know how it goes. All this trouble for a $115 oil change. Will Never go back!Service: Oil change

Keith was great and goes the extra mile on service. I had my oil changed, fluids topped off and turn signal light changed for a reasonable price. Fantastic and friendly. I ve never had to get my oil changed (I m from the UK and cars legally need a yearly service where it s handled) and they were great. Done in the time it took for me to drink my coke and check my texts, probably 10 minutes.I forgot to tip though, which was embarrassing!Service: Oil change

This place didn't show up on Google Maps as we were heading to a different oil change place. Decided to pull in as there was no wait. SO glad we did. Service was excellent, guys working were friendly, professional and fast. Would definitely recommend. Will keep on my short list of good oil change places!

Absolutely epic. Thanks Keith. 100% professional and awesome. Stopped in for a last minute oil change. Staff was professional. Prompt. Courteous. Keith and his fellow employee went above and beyond to accommodate. Discount for first responders and fire fighters was a complete and unasked for bonus! Completely earned my business. Stopped by for an oil change. Service was quick enough but there were issues. They filled the tires to 40 psi and they didn't attach the shield under the engine correctly after replacing the oil filter. The service was also much more expensive than the dealership . We have been going to this place for a couple years now. When you bring your oil it is $20 and then have even supplied the oil filter. The employees are always pleasant. Today my wife went in for an oil change and brought her own oil as usual. She was charged $80. I called the shop and the owner Roger answered and I had asked what service/parts he provided that cost $80. He immediately got defensive and explained how he had a shop to run and the oil filter and his 15 minutes was worth $80. After arguing over the phone and him telling me he was going to fire his manager for doing said oil changes, he told me to swing down the the shop and he would refund $40 of it. On my way he calls me and told me he refunded the card and hung up on me. I stopped down to get my receipt and, unfortunately, went around with him for a few minutes and ended the conversation with how he was taking advantage of individuals by charging them this much while he was there but his employees had different prices. I am all about local business but this place does NOT have my support anymore. Needles to say, do us all a favor and DO NOT GO THERE.Service: Oil change

I'm a little late in writing this, as my experience here was last November, but I couldn't not leave a review.I always use Valvoline for oil changes, but I work in Rockford and was due for an oil change, so I decided to give this place a try. I went on my lunch break and they were very efficient in getting me in and out. The older gentleman that I worked with was very friendly, and I left there fully intending to sing their praises on social media.But then my car started running really rough a couple of days later and I woke up one morning to find oil all over my driveway. I took my car to my mechanic, and he discovered that the technician who did my oil change had neglected to remove the old oil gasket before putting the new one on, resulting in a huge mess under the hood of my vehicle. Because I had gone a couple of days with low oil pressure, my engine could not be saved.Now, I know mistakes happen. But this was a big one. When I called the shop to (politely) discuss this with the manager, he began talking over me and telling me that what I was saying didn't make any sense. He refused to take responsibility for what had happened, and I was left with a very expensive repair bill.My mechanic had a couple of conversations back and forth with him and I don't know what all was said, but at the end of the day, I needed a new engine and was left to pay for it myself.These guys advertise "integrity and honesty," but, in my experience, they don't stand behind their work. If you're looking for a reputable place to have your vehicle serviced, I would look elsewhere.

Not only did they do the routine oil change, they also discovered a nest in the air filter behind my glovebox. I'm thankful they went the "extra mile." Good, friendly service.

We stopped in on our way to go camping, they got us into the bay without having to detach the camper, helped us by lending some tools for some loose bolts, as my husband had just changed the lifters in the truck and having oil pressure issues. The manager Keith was a super great guy, did absolutely everything he could to accommodate us and our unique issues. The young man, ( his name is Joe) working with him, was also helpful and polite! We greatly appreciate this old school kind of service!! You don't this kind of caring service nowadays! The only down side, It was pretty pricey, about $20 more than what we usually spend.Keith and Joe, keep doing what you're doing, your reward for your work will be with you through eternity!!!

Quick drive through service with a nice local garage vibe... Very friendly and seem to be family run.I got high mileage oil and a set of wipers on my 04 Grand Cherokee v8 and compared to the drive through oil change companies in Grand Rapids it was almost $40 cheaper.

They shorted me one quart oil on my oil change. Glad I checked it the next day. He did show me the dip stick. I could not see it because of it being new oil and I didn t have my glasses on. I took it for granted that it was full.They will never get my business again . Consumer beware

My wife went here today asked for just an oil change they did a full service instead. Charged her $16 for 1 extra quart of oil. $94 for an oil change is a bit rediculous. Did a good job just poor listening skills. Just an oil change is just that not a full service. Just make sure they only do what you asked for before paying the bill.

Twice in the past year these guys have diagnosed problems in my 05 Grand Cherokee during a routine oil change. They're not a full service mechanic shop so they have nothing to gain by telling me these things other than my trust, and they've earned it in Spades as a result. Recently they noticed a bad alternator which I should be able to fix up my own and save a couple hundred dollars versus taking it to the dealer or another shop. Definitely trustworthy, I feel comfortable taking my car in to get an oil change here because they'll let me know of other problems that might be coming up with my car.

Great place for a quick oil change. Small location with very friendly service. The guys knew what they were doing. Also honest, the guy was honest about what he uses and recommends and didn't try to price gouge me. Definitely recommend.

After going here for many years, I'm no longer a customer. The new older guy that is working is not only unfriendly, but seems to not really care about your experience. The worst part however, is that after deciding to longer go, I changed my oil myself and found the drain plug overtightened. So tight in fact, that now I have to find a way to fix or replace the oil pan threads since they are completely stripped. I feel bad for the gentleman who has always serviced my car because he has always been absolutely amazing. Hence why I can't in good faith give 1-2 stars. He doesn't deserve the low rating.

June 2016Would NEVER recommend this place. Took my car in for oil change by " I 've been a mechanic for 25 years" who could not get my filter off. Down the road "engine light" went on. Went straight to my mechanic. "experienced " mechanic did not attach a vacuum hose which was located in plain view. After my mechanic fixed it. Drove directly back to Rockford Quick Lube. I spoke with the owner of Quick Lube & this " mechanic" no response at all. A week later engine light on again. Second trip to my mechanic. Other hoses were not connected properly. Rating a zero!WARNING WARNING WARNING WARNING DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

Drove in on a snowy day around 2pm. There was no one else in the building except the workers. I went in to get a transmission flush cause the fluid was looking and smelling burnt. The customer service rep guided me in and then proceeded to talk on his cell phone for a good 5 more min before asking me what I wanted. After I told him he said he would see if he could do it. At that time another car came on the second bay. He got going on that jeep right away. After he came back and pulled the transmission dipstick out and said "What made you think your need a transmission flush it looks like its just over filled?" mind you the car was not running... and you cant check the transmission level while its not running. I told this to him, and he said "oh i know what I'm talking about I've been doing this for 30 year." (I'm sorry, if your a professional and have been doing this for 30 years, you should know it needs to be running.) Next the guy pokes his head around the engine compartment for a couple seconds before saying, "How much time do you have, cause its going to take about an hour. The hook up is right by your radiator which is a hard spot to get to." To give some background here, I worked at quick lube for 7 years, and that transmission flush is one of the easiest to do simply for the reason its next to the radiator. At this point I was done. I didn't want this guy near my car. Since he told me it was going to take so long I took the out. After he recommended me to another shop down the road and have them drop my pan and replace the filter...even though he originally told me he only thought my fluid level was high... the kicker at the end of the whole ordeal was when I had already declined the service, he said "Yeah that's probably best because there's moisture around your pan anyway." I did a face palm in my head, because the guy had never even went downstairs to look at my pan.It was very apparent this guy was just not motivated to preform the work, and would rather come up with excuses and lies to get out of it. Do yourself a favor, don't go here.

Thank you very much for the exceptional service. I went in on a Sat and had a headlight out. They were going to fix it; but, the screw to access it was stripped. The gentleman working said he would let the owner know and to come back for more help. Not only was the owner able to fix the headlight, he would have done it with the one I previously purchased from Meijer; but, I had left it at home. Thanks guys for the great service.

the staff here is very trustworthy and honest. I used to live near Rockford and go here. 4 years ago I moved to SE grand rapids but still go here for my oil change because of their great service.
