I couldn't be happier with the customer service we received from Dave and his team. We test drove the vehicle and bought it the same day. Hekhuis is efficient and relatable without feeling pressure you sometimes get from traditional sales persons. Fast forward a year later, we still have our Expedition and love it. We bought the extended warranty for the vehicle and had to use it this week (1 week before spring break). I was mortified and overwhelmed when I thought about the process of working our way through our warranty and assumed we were renting for our drive to Florida. Dave and his team were amazing and the process was very streamlined and efficient. They were able to acquire the part and install it within a week and saved the day for my family and I going to spring break. I cant thank you enough Dave and team for all you have done for me and my family. Definitely go see this dealership.

Tried jacking up the price from online price & then another $1000 documentation fee. Vehicle went from 18,200 to over 20k without sales tax added into that price. Bait & switch tactics. I declined. Don't waste your time.(2 star because the guy did stay a little late, but I also drove over an hr after work to get there) 2 days later I went & bought a car from Randy Wise Chevrolet in Flushing Michigan. Cost me $490 over advertised price with fees & a new plate (Not incl sales tax) This was 4th vehicle I've purchased from them & they're all still on the road.

The bad rep this place has is well deserved.Car salesman made multiple errors on financial paperwork, submitted different documents to my bank and then to the state, and used intimidation throughout the entire process (so ladies, avoid or bring a man with you who's ready to yell back!).They made so many errors on the financial documentation for the loan financed through my bank that they had to reject the paperwork four (4) separate times. So, I d avoid financing through them as well because they don't know how to properly do that. He also raised the price of the car after my down payment check had already been cashed.In addition, their mechanics couldn't handle fixing a weird noise heard during the test drive that they assured me they could fix and put the wrong brake pads in the car that resulted in the brakes getting hot that had to be fixed elsewhere.Lastly, if Hekhuis tells you they purchased a car from Canada, RUN! They incorrectly switched the speedometer to use US metrics, but the speedometer didn t work from the day the car was driven off the lot. You can only get this fixed at certified dealership. That dealership confirmed they'd had a few people each month come in with this same Canada to US speedometer issue at the time I brought the car in so this wasn't even just me, and also confirmed if Hekhuis did their due diligence they would know they aren't supposed to be doing that. Please stop switching speedometers in cars you're not supposed to do that in!!!Posting this not just because of the terrible experience, that I could get over, but because in the time I've owned that car I've had to put 2 grand worth of fixes in to it that were direct results of work done by Hekhuis and not normal used car stuff. Please be better guys!

Trey made the process of purchasing a vehicle very easy and didnt push warranties and other add ons like most dealerships do. In and out in about an hour, which was about a quarter of the time we spent getting another vehicle at a big dealership in Holland. The only downside was the mandatory detailing fee that they charge for every vehicle they sell, but they came down on asking price to make up for it so I can't complain too much about that.

Tre and Dave are the most amazing guys in the business, although I haven't gotten to meet Dave yet, he was so kind and helpful through the whole process. Tre *Sunshine* was so helpful and made sure I left with a vehicle. I couldn't recommend them more. Seriously the best car buying experience I have ever had!

*Had to rewrite my review, I noticed a couple of misspellings, lol* I love my new 2016 Equinox! I started with Zeigler Ford, but the salesman would take a day or even hours to respond to me, and when he did, he would start by saying, sorry, I was swamped all day or too busy . I didn't think I was worth his time, so I moved on. Then I came across Hekhuis Motorsports and liked a vehicle I saw, so I submitted a credit application. Tre responded quickly and was genuinely interested in what I wanted. He was quick to respond and not pushy. I didn't feel pressured at all. It was a quick, easy, and painless process. I felt like I was speaking to a family member. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely purchase from here again in the future. Thank you, Tre!!! You re awesome!!!

I first talked with Dave on the phone. Since I'm almost 2 hours away he gave me a virtual tour of a 2011 Avalanche I was interested in. Even going so far as to point out things (small tears in seating etc) that he could have hidden. Once I got here I saw another vehicle almost identical that was in better shape. I felt no pressure even though we got there shortly before closing. Fast forward a few weeks I called Dave up and decided to buy the other vehicle. We agreed on a price no hassle. He handled everything and even had the vehicle taken the shop of my choosing for a pre purchase inspection. It passed no problems. The day I was scheduled to get the vehicle we were running behind and Dave stayed late on a Friday night. Thru the whole process I never felt pressure and any kind of gamesmanship that you can find in the industry. Now we have a great looking 2011 Avalanche my wife loves to drive, that's been free of hassles and makes me smile every time I see it. Thanks Dave

Avoid this place!! We bought a truck from them and it had issues on the way home. We took it back and they will not honor the 3 month/ 5,000 mile warranty they advertise. Also they tried to jack the price up on the truck higher than what we agreed on and what was listed on their webpage. And be prepared to pay a $1,000.00 dealer processing fee. UPDATE: on 12/13/22 Spoke to Dave and let him know I took the truck to the dealership and it needs $6,795.00 in repairs done on it and how do I put a claim on his 3 month 5K warranty that was advertised and listed on the truck. He said the truck does not have a warranty and will not pay anything. He then said he reported our loan as fraud to Capital one because I gave him a bad review. I work in the auto lending industry and I am actually now going to report him to his master line lender Greater Kalamazoo financial services Do NOT buy from this dealer.

Excellent service!! Dave was easy to work with and found us great financing options for our Dodge Ram! The dealership across the street was unable to assist us because it was late in the afternoon and their financing department had closed; but Dave, the owner of Hekhuis, came through for us. Highly recommend.

Tre is so down to earth, honest, and laid back. I got a great deal and the experience was seamless and smooth. I will definitely buy more cars from them in the future!A year after buying my van I am thankful that I got the warranty they suggested. It's saved me so much money. I have had to have my transmission replaced and also alternator. The warranty has been a lifesaver!

My husband and I recently bought a Jeep Wrangler from Dan and Cam and had a great experience. Very laid back atmosphere and felt that the guys there were extremely honest and straight forward. We ended up doing our own financing through our credit union and they were very patient while we worked out all the logistics on our end. Only issues we had with delivery were not getting a second key, but was an easy process at a local dealership to get one, and we found several pieces of trash and paperwork from previous owner still in the glovebox. Overall we had a wonderful buying experience and would definitely recommend Hekhuis to anyone in the future.

First time buyer from this dealership. Tre spent much time with me as I test drove the vehicle twice and then took it to my mechanic for a check-up before agreeing to the purchase. Hekhuis performed the required work and helped me out with an issue after the purchase. No pressure sales.

I am very satisfied with the truck I bought, the people I worked with, and the entire interaction. I didn't know what to expect because I never went to a small independent dealership before and, quite frankly, I was a little nervous. I was also nervous because this was the first time I looked at a diesel truck and there was a lot that was new to me.Jamie and Dave earned my trust. Although they seemed knowledgeable, I needed to be sure so I spent hours verifying what they said only to come to the conclusion that they knew what they were talking about, the price was right, and they were giving me very good advice. Not only that, after the transaction was complete they honored their word when there was a minor issue and resolved it quickly and completely to my satisfaction.I would not hesitate for second to recommend these guys to anybody I like.P.S. The next time I need a vehicle, I am just going to tell them what I am looking for and have them bring it in if they don't have it already. I trust them and it will save me a lot of time.

Great experience! Easy going, no pressure to buy. Let us test drive multiple vehicles. Dave went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle was set to go(oil changes/brakes). Will definitely be back and refer to friends and family!

I didn't go there to buy they sent flyer to everyone I think there was a loud event that was going on. I ended up purchasing a vehicle the process was overwhelming for a person with anxiety at one point I wanted to just leave my son said no mom give it to God. I stayed we got to the point of dealing with the insurance change my agent really was calm working me through the process she made me very calm. Finishing the purchase process went very smooth. The guy we were working with was nice easy to deal with. He offered to park my old car and if we met him there at 8:30am the next morning he would drive the old car back to where I live and give him a ride back. He continued to tell me I could sell it for $1,200.00 in the end I received that car for free when I needed help so I knew I couldn't sell it I know my neighbor's situation I gave it to her.In the end Thank you Hekhuis Motorsports and anyone looking for good used cars that's where you should go!

Tre and Dave were very helpful and patient with my wife and I as our work schedules were close with theirs. They worked with us on scheduling a test drive and then proceeded to work on getting us the best price, term and payments that we could agree to. No pressure, just a nice laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I was able to purchase a good, low mileage vehicle at what I consider an excellent price. I had done my homework and found their truck through Autotrader after looking at dozens of others. I visited the store and talked with Jamie who was there alone that day. He was very gracious and offered to let me check the vehicle, I was pressed for time and had to return later. I got the same courteous service from him a few days later and test drove and bought the vehicle. They were very helpful and I recommend them highly.

We recently bought a used car from David at Hekhuis Motorsports after doing an extensive search for a particular vehicle. In fact, we drove almost 3 hours away to look at it. You can tell David takes pride in searching and finding the best cars available. Our car came from Texas, which is where we like to buy them for the lack of rust versus a northern car. Our service was excellent and we left in our "new" car feeling like we made some new friends. Would highly recommend this company.

Dave (owner) told me several months ago to come in when I was ready to upgrade my car and that they would take care of our family's needs. That is exactly what he did! After shopping for several weeks at local dealers and online I quickly came to realize that not only are Hekhuis vehicles priced well, they are honest and very convenient to deal with. We were shopping for Yukon/Tahoe's (hard to find in great condition) and had a set budget in mind that we couldn't go over. Hekhuis had exactly what I needed within my budget and they even took my old clunker towards trade in and yet still gave me a great price. I highly recommend Dave to anyone in need of fair and honest service. Thank you for making this such a stress free experience.

Tre and the other salesman did a great job from start to finish on getting me into my new truck. They gave me a fair trade-in price for my vehicle and there was no pressure dealing with them in the whole process. I did have my concerns at first because of some reviews I read, but after discussing them with Tre, he and the rest of the team have put those doubts to rest and went above and beyond.

I had a great experience buying my truck from Hekhuis Motorsports. Dan was very helpful without ever being pushy. He really went out of his way to enable my wife to go along on the test drive. She recently had surgery and couldn't quite make it up into the vehicle. Dan brought out his special 'box-steps' and the problem was solved! He was also very patient as I spent a fair amount of time inspecting the truck. Dan was a reasonable and fair negotiator when it came to price - something I understand and appreciate. I'll definitely plan to come back to Dan at Hekhius for my next car.

We recently bought a 2008 Tahoe From Jamie at Hekhuis and had a wonderful experience he was very friendly and easy to work with. The vehicle we bought was super clean and we have had no problems with it since. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a clean and friendly car buying experience.

Have already recommended Hekhuis to a few people...I have a very chaotic schedule and they were happy to work with me on that. They held my truck for me while i was handling family matters. The whole staff is welcoming and easy to talk to while still being straight forward with you. I said "I want this truck, for this amount or less a month", and they blew that monthly payment out of the water. They were extremely fair with my trade in value. My credit is less than perfect and they made this happen with out even flinching. No pressure, no haggling, it's by far the most comfortable I've been purchasing a vehicle...bottom line, I'll be going back to Hekhuis for my next vehicle with out a doubt.Pleasure doing business!Chad

Buyer Beware! Purchased an SUV from them that my mechanic noted would need several repairs (obvious leaks) that needed to be done to it that I was willing to pay to have replaced. They refused to lower the price of the vehicle (it was also $1000 dollars overpriced based on Kelly Blue Book and other sites) stating that my mechanics estimate for the repairs was too high. I was offered a dealer rate at their mechanics which I took it to, and they quoted me a cost that was three times as much as my mechanic. Not even a month after owning it the check engine light has come on. This has by far been the worst experience I have had dealing with a third-party dealer and will be the last time I purchase a car through one.
