I'm newer to the area. I've come to the 14 mile and 131 location numerous times in the last couple years, now we live up here.They are straight shooters. Today thinking I had a dead battery, they tested it, said it was strong and let me know what to look for. Big stores just tend to want to sell me more stuff. I definitely recommend them! My mechanic @ Palmer Automotive in Grand Rapids (NW side) is the same. They don't do unnecessary work.

Thanks to Chris and his group of parts professionals here at Auto Value on 14 mile in Rockford .This is what a real auto parts store is supposed to be like. Experience, knowledge and amazing customer service!!Shop local here! Great service from the guys at auto value. Broke down getting of 131, headed home from work and they came right through with the parts I need and even lent me the tools to get the job done. I strongly suggest bringing your business to these guys they got me home to my wife and 2 Month old baby and couldn't show appreciation to then enough.

I can t praise the manager and employees enough at this location. I blew a brake line 3 miles from the store and was in need of parts to repair my vehicle. This was the closest auto parts store from where I am and I am so grateful they were. Not only did they help me with the parts, they allowed me tools and offered to answer any questions while I was working on my vehicle in the parking lot. They allowed me to wash up in the store and were so polite. God watched over me today and I thank these genuine people for their help and compassion. They have a lifetime customer and supporter from me.

Excellent customer service.John diagnosed my issue, gave me part options based on quality and price, and allowed me to use some tools to get me back on the road. I would have missed my daughter's crosscountry meet without John's help.

I was northbound on US-131 earlier today when all of a sudden I felt cold air coming out of my floor vents and my oil and coolant temp gauges started going haywire. I ramped off at 14 Mile and turned left heading for the Mobil station on the west side of the expressway. When I pulled to a stop and got out to check, I saw the expected dripping of what was left of my coolant. I tilted the cab of my 09 Freightliner Argosy and quickly found a 2 inch long split in a heater hose. So I pulled out my friend, Google Maps, and searched Auto Parts. With great relief I saw that Auto Value was just to the east of the expressway. I gave them a call, explained my situation and asked if they could bring me a 4 piece of 3/4 heater hose, 2 hose clamps and 6 gallons of nitrite-free antifreeze. The gentleman that was helping me said I am new here, so let me check with my boss to make sure we can do that. At the place I used to work at, we couldn t take product to retail customers. We had to tell them that they needed to find a way to get to us. when he came back on the line, he said it was no problem and proceeded to finalize my order. I started taking apart the old hose connections and before I was even finished, there was the Auto Value truck with the goods! Ten minutes later I had the new hose installed and the cab back down. I started pouring in the antifreeze and realized that I had not specified premixed and they had brought me concentrate. Since it was 14� out and the engine was cold enough, I put 3 gallons in and made the short drive to their shop. They let me fill the empty jugs with water in their back room so I could get a 50/50 mix in the radiator. When I was all done topping off, I told them how appreciative I was for their help and great service. Being a business owner, I was really happy to hear one of them say Well, that s what we re here for, to help people solve problems! As I drove away, I thought to myself, they just saved me a minimum of a $500 tow bill. Thanks for the great service, guys!!

Customer service was beyond my high expectations. Pricing was better than most for the parts that I required and the online research that I conducted. Staff was extremely kind, friendly, honest and an overall willingness to share their knowledge and experiences.

My battery died while on the road. After getting a jump start from my insurance company, I called Chris from Auto value. He pleasantly and competently installed a new battery and discarded my defective battery and all for the purchase price of the battery. No extra charges. I was very impressed.

Very friendly and professional staff. I went to three places this morning to purchase a headlight. I also wanted someone to install for me. Auto Value was the only place willing to do the install. Appreciated the extra mile they went for this old lady.

I called to get license plate screws for my son's car, not really sure what he needed or tool, the employee gladly helped him with getting plate on. Very appreciated. Great service!

Good prices, friendly staff, and honest people. Appreciated the service when I returned parts after not needing them with no hassle. Have priced compared with other shops and autovalue carries good brands for a good price. Would reccomend to friends and family.

I'm really impressed with this place. A buddy of mine referred me to this place and it didnt disappoint. I'm fairly new to work on cars and they understood and helped me. Great advice and great prices. I would rate this place higher if possible.

This is the worst parts store I have ever bean in. Everything I picked up off the shelf was marked higher at the register then on the sticker the place is a rip off to the point Napa has better prices stay away. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The punk hillbilly behind the counter actually told me to get out of his store because I kept calling them out out on it and refferancing autozone witch at this point is defiantly a better place the same stuff at this store would have cost me $25.00 I went to family farm and home and saves $10

Auto Value in Rockford Mi. helped me out today. I bought a wiper at a different store and had problems installing it and I stopped there and they installed it for me. I felt that they went above and beyond because the wiper was not bought from their store.
