Terrible service.. My car has had problems starting for about 2 weeks now. Even when up to temp. I went there to get my battery and starter tested because I know they do free testing. I walked in and greeted the clerk and simply asked Do you think I could get my battery and starter tested real quick if you don t mind? I was met with on of the worst answers possible. Sorry, I m the only one here and don t know how to do the tests. HELLO?? How do you advertise free testings and then hire employees and don t teach them how to do the tests and let them work alone. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable.

I was stuck in a very tough spot with no A/C on a crazy hot day and couldn't get it to charge myself. I stopped here and went inside to plead with the young man (Gavin) behind the counter. I told him I'd even pay him to help me figure it out, and he assured me he would help out free of charge. While there wasn't any fix to be had, he was still kind and helpful and offered me reassurance, and I truly appreciated his help.

Had to replace battery on my Odyssey. Alexandria was super helpful, walked me through my options, and got me out the door quickly so I could hit the road again. Great customer service, quick and easy, 10/10. Will definitely go back if I ever break down at the Rockford Saturday market again!

I ran up to AAP when I started to get an ominous message from my car that said my power steering was reduced when my car stopped at a red light. Google said it was the battery and the battery was 5 years old. The battery is actually in the trunk of my volvo and required a few steps to get it out. Gavin did this and was awesome! He didn't lose patience when I totally would have.

I had the best experience at this location this morning! I had came in looking for a new battery for my car, and Carl offered to help me out. He found me the best battery and offered to install it as well. Upon getting to my car, he was honest and noticed that I had a part that was loose and making my car lose the battery connection. He offered me options, and gave his honest opinion. Thanks to Carl, I got to work okay and made it back home with no battery issues. He truly went above and beyond and he deserves some recognition for his work today! Thank you!

Gavin was a sweetheart.He helped me put on my rear wiper blade and license plate frame.I'm a senior citizen with some physical challenges and it's difficult for me to do these kind of things.His Grandma is a lucky woman.

I have been shopping at this store for eight years. Normally they have what I need in stock and if not, I can order on line and have it delivered. I have been using the buy on line and pick up within 30 minutes. So far so good. Each time, the order has been ready early and the team helpful when I walk in the door to ask me if they can help. I recommend them.

It is rare they have parts in stock for common vehicles. The staff isn't knowledgeable about vehicles. At least they don't act like it.

Staff are very helpful, usually most common parts are in stock. Good prices especially with rewards. This is almost always where I go first for parts.

Needed new wiper blades and a check engine light checked. I was helped as soon as I entered the store and was not pushed to buy the most expensive ones but was told of the current deals going on. They also installed the blades and checked the light for free. Overall easy and great experience, would recommend.

I made a "buy on-line, pick -up in store" purchase. When I went to the store to picked up the windshield wipers, I noticed they were on sale for $8 off in their circular. I asked one of the associates for the special price. They were very rude with their reply stating the price was not available for on-line orders. He said I probably received a discount when I purchased on-line. I did not receive a discount and the receipt would show that. The wipers were the same price as in-store. I said fine, refund the on-line order and I will repurchase. They said very rudely that they could not refund the order for 24 hours. So I took the product and left with the intention of returning everything the next day. I did call the Advance Customer Service number and they were very helpful, I was refunded the $8 for the on-line order. The situation could have be handled much better by the supervisor and cashier at the Advance store on 10 mile in Rockford. I found the staff very incompetent and they could not care less about customer service. Embarrassing operation.

Needed too replace back wiper arm on my pilot .. They were the only shop i could get it from . Very friendly and helpful associate . he replaced my wiper arm for free

The guys are always very helpful. Prices seem lower than most other stores. I have several older cars and for the most part they always seem to have the parts in stock. Zach is usually who I end up dealing with and he is fast and courteous. Thanks for the great service!

I came in to get new windshield wipers since mine were starting to get worn. When I came to the store the first time, the employees were very helpful and were able to help me select what size wipers I needed. A day later when I got in my car, I realized that one of the wiper blades did not touch the entire windshield.I went back to try to return it and get one that would be a better fit. Kassidy said that the wipers weren't an issue, but the windshield or the arm of the wiper was. She talked down to me and and didn't believe me when I said my pervious wipers didn't have an issue. She refused to help me find a better solution and stated that I needed my car fixed in order for any wiper blade to work correctly. Spending $60 in blades, I was upset, so I went to another retailer. They stated that it was simply the brand that was the issue and not my car. This is not the first negative interaction I had with Kassidy. I will no longer be returning to this store location.

Very friendly experienced and knowledgeable staff! Normally no weights and line you're able to get in and get out with what you need. And very helpful and lowering the prices for me and making sure I get the best deal possible. I have always had my parts and stock!!!!! This is by far my favorite auto parts store!!

Ordered brake parts online and picked up in store. Service was polite, parts were cheap and decent quality. They even let me rent a special brake install tool kit for free. Can't say I have any complaints.

I ordered parts for my truck online. After receiving the parts, I thought one was wrong. I called the Adv Auto on ten mile to check if it was the correct one. I inquired as to if I could return the unused, unopened part to their store and my answer was a "No, we don't take back electronics". I looked at the back of the paper that came with my order and it stated I could return it to any one of their locations for refund. Makes me wonder why they said, no we can't.

Absolutely love going to this location, even if it is a little out of my way! they are quick to help out and get you back on the road! I've never had to wait long for diagnostics and I've never felt like an inconvenience asking for one!

I know very little about cars, but I went in and their employee, Tyler, was super helpful. He knew exactly what I needed and even gave me some helpful tips. Truly hospitable and friendly. I will be recommending AAP to my friends and family bc of workers like him.

Sure wish they had parts for my MINI, but I knew what I was getting into when I ordered an English motorcar. Advance auto sorted me out with parts better than others in the area, but I'm selling the MINI and buying a Tesla. Done.

The staff was very rude! Went to buy a hitch for our new SUV, and they were not helpful. Tried 3 different types because they were not helpful! Asked to borrow tools to tighten the bolt down and they dont have any to help. This is the reason I prefer to give autozone my business. Sorry Advanced owners!

Wyatt did an excellent job helping me with determining whether I needed a battery or alternator then installed it in the rain. I was very impressed and will drive the extra distance for this type of service in the future.

Good experiences with the many times I've stopped in. Staff has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Clean and organized. Nothing but good to say. I would definitely recommend.

It's an auto parts store.What else can you say. It has a lot of parts made in China with a different name on every box so you think it's from a different company. That company that makes all these parts is dorman... dorman equals I will break soon.

Absolute dump. Guaranteed 10+ minute wait time regardless of how many people are in the store. Got a loaner ball joint press which was bent so badly I didn't want to use it and risk damaging the aluminum bore on my F150 control arms, returned it the next day, and they still haven't refunded the $150+ deposit over a week later. The much heavier duty, non-bent to hell one I got from O'Reilly's was refunded the same day. Can you guess which auto parts store I'll be using from now on?

Terrible store 10 mile Rockford Mi no one ever there to help you . Cant tell you how many time i walked through the store couldn't find what i was looking for and they watch me walk out with out asking me if i need help . I know for a fact the manager is right there watching and wont help you . Do your self a favor just down the road is a AutoZone 17 mile Cedar Spring s . I Will never shop at any of there stores again .

Carl P. is a complete JERK. Hung up the phone on me twice without letting me get a word out! The Advance over by my house easily transferred the part I needed, unlike the people at this Rockford store. This guy obviously doesn't care about his job, and how he makes his store look. He obviously doesn't understand that he works in customer service. Will NEVER deal with this particular store. When the manager of the Advance by my house called the manager at this Rockford store, he just denied any of the rudeness that Carl P showed me. These people need to grow up.

Great service when I needed battery, and wiper blades. So helpful that they do the installation.I believe it was Chaz who helped us with the battery, and on a extremely cold, winter day!
