First time taking my car to a shop instead of to a friend. They charged me about the same amount as my friend would have and were actually able to solve the problem in basically one day. They did so well that I just put my car back in their shop yesterday to fix everything else that is needed to keep it a safe vehicle. I truly believe these guys are not about scamming you or ripping you off, these guys are actually good people.

Mike and TJ always get me in and take great care of me.Only place downriver that does stainless steel!!!Quality work and treat my cars just like I do, they can handle pretty much anything!Hot rods welcome, custom exhaust work, or bring your own and they will install it.

They did a major repair on my car. Their work is top notch!! Only thing that took time was waiting on the warranty company. They jumped through all of the hoops, and my car is running better than ever.

New to the area and my car was making some weird noises. I worked with Mike who was incredibly helpful and honest with me on what was wrong with my car. He performed a safety inspection for me, let me know what I could hold off on and what should be tackled soon. I could have been charged so much more for exhaust parts that I didn't need right away. However, they were 100% honest with me andonly charged me for what I needed to make my car run quiet. They even took me into the garage while my car was on the lift and showed me exactly what the problem was! I walked in expecting to pay $150 and ended up only having to pay $80. Excellent service! I basically was in and out within an hour. I will definitely do business with this company again in the future!Service: Exhaust

Been taking my vehicles to bill for 13 years now and he had some kind of attitude problem today. He threw my keys at me and told me to go somewhere else. I sure will bill. I ll never go here again. Sad

Very satisfied. Good service and work. He called me to say I could wait on doing a part. He could have just done it. My cost was $300.00 below my estimate. Even with the extra work. I would recommend this business.

I kind of want to keep this place to myself and not review it, but that wouldn't be right. They did a great job on my vehicle. Replaced the AC compressor on my vehicle for a very fair price. Dropped car off in the morning and had it back early afternoon... and mind you right before the holiday! The Manager "FISH" was straight forward and made my repair experience easy. It's not too often ya find a garage that will fix your vehicle without jacking up the price on you. And I did my research on prices of the parts my vehicle required beforehand...prices were spot on. Having the work done in a timely manner and a fair price means alot to anyone when it comes to their vehicle. First time customer and will be giving this garage my business from now on.

This was my first time (and last) going here for any work. I show up at 8:55 and wait in my truck until they open at 9 am. At 9 am, I go to the door, it is locked and there is no one inside. After 5 minutes of waiting in the cold, an employee finally shows up (McDonald s in hand) and says give me a few minutes to open the shop. When I am finally let inside, it is freezing cold (employee said they turned the heat off over the weekend). I give them the keys to my truck, and they pull my truck into their shop bay, and I hear them revving my truck while I am waiting in the lobby. They finally start working on my truck at about 9:40, after I ve been sitting in the cold since 9 am (I was the first in line) and had it finished by 10:30. The service was alright and price was average, but the professionalism was very dissatisfying and I will not be returning.

Awesome service!! TJ and Fish are honest dependable people.. they diagnosed my fusion within 15 minutes and even let me in the bay ares area with a flash light and showed me personally what the mechanical problems were!! 5 ***** I highly recommended these guys they are not after your money like other shops that take your car in the back and lie to you to make extra $$$$

Fast, professional service. Quoted reasonable price and came in right at the quote. Gave honest review on future work that would eventually need to be done. No high pressure sales, just an honest conversation and even showed me under the car what he was talking about! Highly recommend!!

I took my vehicle here on August 29 2018. I was a walk in right when they opened. They took my car right away and fixed it no questions asked. It took a couple hours because the repair was a bit difficult. I didn't mind cause I had to stay while they fixed it. I would recommend this place to everyone. They were all very pleasant and helpful overall my experience was very satisfying. five star's isn't enough they need ten. Thanks to all the mechanics and fish.Michelle sainato

These guys lied to me and told me they were working on my vehicle and when I called at the end of the day, they told me We ll probably get to it tomorrow. I didn t care that it took extra time to fix my vehicle because I understand you can get swamped with work sometimes but tell the customer JUST THAT! They did do a good job, so I have to say they are experienced but they also wound up charging me more than what I was quoted because they had trouble getting some bolts loose. For anyone that has ever done exhaust work, that s a pretty common problem and a lame excuse to raise the price. Overall, I would recommend them if you cannot find somewhere else to take your car but I would go out of my way to try to find another shop tbh.

Don't go here they stealpeople's Cadillac converters and straight pipe it ...That way you dont notice.... Or let me take a guess, a person stole it in a random parking lot and was nice enough to straight pipe it for me before they left...BS

I was so impressed with the prompt, efficient service I received. The young man at the front desk was juggling a lot (phones, front desk, customers, paperwork and tasks in the garage area) and he remained friendly and professional the entire time. hopefully everyone else has the same experience i did.. the guys were really good at explaining exactly what was wrong with my car and did not patronize me because i am a female. i have ran into that problem with other mechanics. they did not fib about what my car needed and didn't try to over charge me. i have been taking my car there for 2 years and will continue to do so.

TJ and the staff are professional. I've done business with him and his dad for years and they service all makes and models. they give you honest feedback and I trust these guys with all of my vehicles. if you want good work and knowledgeable people that wont overcharge you go to this shop.

I was in and out in under two hours and I'm happy with the repair and the service. Mike was pleasant and professional and I felt comfortable knowing that my truck was in good hands. I will return in the future for any other exhaust work that I may need.

My car broke down Monday night. Took it in Tues morning and by the time I got off work it was fixed. Went to pick it up and they didn't even charge me. We have used this establishment numerous times. We have been 100% satisfied every time. They do good work, the place is updated and clean and the staff is polite and very helpful. I highly recommend Top Value in Flat Rock!!

I m a 20 year old female who is extremely used to mechanics taking advantage or giving me false info. TJ and his crew are not those people. They ve handled all of my MANY repairs swiftly and professionally. They treat you like a friend, and explain things very well to new drivers or undereducated ones. I ve never overpaid and wouldn t trust anyone else with my vehicle. Thanks guys!

I went to the shop prepared for several hours wait, and a hefty bill.TJ the technician came in, told me a bracket fell off and dislodged the muffler from the pipe.He could have told me the muffler was bad, or the pipe, or both, but he was straight forward and honest!A good feeling knowing someone treated you fairly!I was in and out within a half an hour!Thanks Top Value/TJ You guys rock!

Car broke down at work, too far from home to tow it there. I searched car repair shops near my job and was impressed with their rating and positive reviews so I had them tow my car there. They were pleasant and fixed my car for a very reasonable price. I will be bringing my car there for future repairs!

They tend to open late, but they did a rear brake job faster than promised and also completed a larger lob earlier this year at a fair price. Happy with these guys!
