Have been having issue with battery in my fathers car for a time. John worked with me and we proved over a couple of days battery discharged on it's own. Warranted battery and all is well. Father has been fighting cancer and less stress is a blessing. John is the manager and rest assured he is a very good fit. Patient and methodical in his approach to an issue.

I came in to buy a battery on Jan 15. The manager Len was so incredibly rude. Staring daggers at me, annoyed when I asked questions, etc. I asked about a check engine light and he said to go to the dealer to get it checked out. There is a giant decal on the side of the building stating that they will scan for check engine light codes. That's a huge reason people come to Autozone. Otherwise, you can get cheaper batteries elsewhere.I was so frustrated by the rude interaction that I came back about 10 minutes later for a refund. With receipt in hand, I calmly informed Len that I felt he was very rude and I wanted a refund. Len refused and told me to leave the store. I stated that I would not leave without a refund. I kept my cool and did not raise my voice nor swear. He called the Flat Rock police and told them there was a disgruntled customer who refused to leave. I have never in my life had the police called on me and I was flabbergasted.The manager was borderline unhinged and frankly I felt unsafe. The tone of his voice and his body language were very aggressive. I cannot imagine how the little old ladies in line felt. Please stay away from this store. I was sincerely concerned for my own safety.

Always come here to get our needs. Today the employees (Greg in particular) went above and beyond for me. I had a bad battery and needed it put in so I could pick my husband up from work, and Greg graciously installed it for me. I am so impressed with the customer service here, because these days it is rare to be shown kindness. Not only were all the workers kind, but they did me a solid favor.

Management threatened to call the police because I wanted to return a special order part I couldn't use. Told me they don't take back anything they don't stock in the store. Well we always did when I was the manager and the district manager agreed with me. I still wasn't able to get a full refund but my bad for giving the wrong receipt. I'd originally purchased two different parts and ended up going with the cheaper one anyhowz.

If only they could get an educated staff. Want to argue about something that none of them had a clue about. But, they will get a 2 star. For the discount for them not knowing a thing about automotive. Even when reading it on the computer screen.

I m pretty disappointed in the service I received from this store. My Grand Caravan s battery stopped working this morning and when I got someone to jump my car, I went to this store to purchase a new battery.After purchasing my battery, no one offered to install it and when I inquired about it, I was told they may not be able to with 2 people in the store. After the man who was helping me checked with the other person, he told me we can t do it because in our computer system it says it will take 30-40 minutes because these batteries usually have a motherboard attached to them . So I was left to take my battery home and leave my car run for the next 2 hours for my husband to be able to make it home to change it (it had to be left running because it is my only vehicle and in case of an emergency, I needed to be able to leave). When he started changing the battery it was 5:49, when he was done it was 5:52 it was just 2 nuts and 1 bolt to change the battery I am disappointed and frustrated that nobody offered to change the battery, even though AutoZone typically offers this service and further frustrated that nobody even checked to see if what was in the computer was even correct.

This autozpne is by far the most courteous and professional autozpne I've walked into. The staff are so helpful and don't make u feel like your bothering them. Tried to return a warranty part (defective pads) to the Trenton rd store and was called a liar, told I was a wrong, and the Manager Mark told me he would not help me.. after driving 20 minutes to the FlatRock location it was handled in minutes. I was also told by multiple people that the Manager Mark at the Trenton rd store in Southgate, does anything he can to not return items, even if that means calling customers liars. I wanna give a huge shout out to Andrew M for being an amazing employee!!!

Wow!!! This establishment was exceptional and very helpful to me. I went to take back a part I didn't need and didn't have the same card I purchased the item with. I had the receipt but couldn't get my refund on my card. The general manager and employees were very helpful and fixed my problems swiftly and gracefully. Thank you Gentlemen.

Very nice autozone everyone is very nice except the blonde lady. My mother already had warned me that she is rude and does not know what she s doing. Anyway. I go in and I am looking around. And when I am still very obviously browsing the store, she asked if I was done. I said no, even though it was very obvious I was not done. So obviously she wants me to get done already so I hurry up and get my stuff and come up to the register. When I get there, she is just standing there talking to her coworker. She rushed me, and then when I was done she took quite a moment to even start ringing me up. All the men there are very nice and helpful, though.

This is very much a typical representation of what you expect from an AutoZone. Friendly, knowledgeable team ready to help you find what you need. Today's trip was for a 5mm ignition wrench, which they did not have. But neither did the 12 other places I called or visited today.

I went there to return my brand new battery that I had originally bought for my SUV. Well after buying it, paying extra for it to be delivered that same day, we found out my battery wasn't the issue. So I took it back to AutoZone and, it was at least 2 weeks later, due to my work schedule. The lady that helped me was so nice and, helpful. She was also able to get me my money back for the purchase of the battery. Thank you again so much!!

Went in to get a battery. Got the battery and requests assistance to change it, and the response was it will take too long. Mind you only two other customers were in the store, and the manager just sat back typing away on his computer in the corner. Absolutely disgusting. I live 45 minutes from there with no auto experience and just needed assistance and nobody could be bothered to help.

As always my experience is awesome. Mark, Paul, Rich, and Rick. Gotta give it to these guys. Always helpful, and great personalities. Always fun and professional. If they don't have what I need they go above and beyond to get it. I live in Garden City and I buy from here more so than anywhere else. Yes it's that's kinda store.

I need a 14mm Allen driver socket. They had it alone, and they had a 3 piece that contained 2 other sizes. I'm pretty happy I finished my project today and didn't have to wait for mail order tools

I had a battery issue with my 2015 Cherokee. I needed a new battery. The person who assisted me (JOE) was a really kind guy...super kool and extremely helpful. I don't know what kind of day he was having (good/bad) when I walked in but he made me feel like I was the only person in the store. He made sure I understood what my options were and what he would suggest in case I was still undecided. He was perfessional and accommodating as well. Thank you Joe because of level of service you gave, I'll definitely return and will suggest this location to anyone I know who needs any automotive parts in the area.

Do not go here. Buy on line. AM manager very rude and disrespectful to my girlfriend over warranty on a LIFETIME OEMtools part that was only $5.99. Told her to send it back to the Manufacturer. I ve been a mechanic my whole life and never have I ever been told that before. They are a licensed retailer.. Not right. He talked to her very disrespectful. Never going here again

I go back to this parts store even though it is a longer drive for me. Clean, helpful, very little BS. I find very little difference in these big box brick-and-mortar stores. So when I find one a cut above the rest I will return. But also one Bad visit will send me down the road. So far that has not happened in the five or so visits to this particular store. I needed some gasket material and the woman let me in the back to go through all the different sheets they had. I will keep returning here. Thanks, Sam.

I went in looking for cleaning products, without being too knowledgable on what to get. The employees picked up on the fact that I didn't know too much about cars, and instead of being helpful and explaining things, they just laughed at the products I bought. While I can handle my own, I am very disappointed in the lack of productive feedback I received.

Dont shop here...place has changed. Daughter bought a oil filter but needed an air filter. They sold her the most expensive on they carry. Upgraded the sale. Tried to exchange it the next day without a receipt. They informed me that I could not. Said people walk out of there with there products without paying all the time so I stole it. I've been shopping at autozone for 30 years....no more

Bought a power inverter Rated at 200W but wouldn't run two chargers rated at 90W a piece(180w total). Tried to return and was told cannot return due to being used. They don't stand behind their products at this store be aware. This is all it takes to lose a customer. Was going to return and get a bigger converter but after listening to the reasoning I was given I will be aquiring from Walmart...if it doesn't work they will take it back.

The worst customer service I ve ever experienced!!! I call the store and spoke to a very nice guy named Rich about replacing a battery. I asked Rich if he could help me replace the battery, he told me the computer says 30 minutes to replace it but he would take a look anyway to see if he could help.So I go up there and the Manager told me he would sell me the battery but wouldn t help or allow Rich to help. So I drove up there for nothing because I only have one good hand and needed someone to help me.I went down the street to Advance Auto and the very nice Manager named Carl installed the battery in less then 3 minutes. Long story short I ll never return to Autozone again. You get out of the business what you put into it and the lack of customer service at this store is one reason never to return.

Had called in advance if they had car batteries. They said they do, and if the battery is uptop they could take out the old one and replace the new one. Which they swapped it pretty fast. Thank you so much. I Appreciate that. Great job.

I called into the Flat Rock autozone needing a cylinder for a customer vehicle I'm working on and the guy had a attitude with me when I tried to correct him and hung up on me. Your job is to collect information and check for parts we need. Vary unprofessional at flat Rock

Great place but you have to watch them. Their sneaky. They will try to sell you little packets of lubricants for brakes or other things. They DON'T ask if you want it. They just put it in your items to purchase.
