Own a 11 year old Lincoln MKS with leaky transmission. Outstanding turnaround in two days and great price. Wonderful, very friendly people. Highly recommend!

Can't give this PLACE a rate just YET? Haven't had any work done yet. But they did give me a price on the work to be done for my van. There are much much cheaper from the other places that I had ask around about.

We brought my nephews car in because an oil change place told us it had a transmission leak. We dropped it off the night before, by around noon the next day they had already looked at the car and let us know it wasn't a transmission leak at all. That it seemed like some oil had maybe spilled and was causing the leak. They also recommended an oil change place in the future. They were quick & honest which is very much appreciative. Even when we dropped it off, they were very friendly.

Did an awesome job on my rebuild. My classic Car runs so much better, when the car shifts as it should. Great people too, very good communication between them to me. I would recommend to anybody go there first, you'll be glad you did.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Go somewhere else! Save yourself about half of what any other business will charge you and a whole lot of time. Had to have my car towed here and needed a transmission replaced/repaired. They called me the same day (Friday) at 6pm when they closed and told me it would cost $4500 to get a transmission and they would have it in 39 BUSINESS DAYS! Or I could pay $5000 for a different transmission and they would have that one in about 7-9 business days. Called every mechanic in a 15 mile radius to research options and everyone was around $3000. Ended up taking it to a competitor who charged me $2800 TOTAL, gave me a loner for free, and had my vehicle back to me in 48 hours. Seriously if I could give negative stars I would. Smh. The lady that answers the phones is polite so I gave them 1 star.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Mike and his team are awesome. You definitely get what you pay for. Customer service is on point. I cant stress that enough I would give them more than 5 stars if option was available. When you have a warranty with them they honor it to the fullest no questions asked. This is your transmission shop in Michigan!!!

I have a 1987 Winnebago RV, that had the transmission stuck in low gear, 250 miles from home. I limped into A&M, and as busy as they were, with a lot packed full of customer's vehicle's, they found the time to look at the problem and narrow it down to a few possibilities. After a few hours, they replaced a critical part, and I was on my way. I can't say enough about Mike, the owner, and Joe the tech, for their experience and knowledge at getting right to the source of the problem. These guys know their business! And a special shout out to Francesca, for her courtesy, and coordination, as she appears to be to the one that allows the operation to run so smoothly. Thanks again for fitting me in to an extremely tight schedule, and getting me on my way. You all are the best!Service: Transmission

Mike is very friendly and prices are reasonable. Never had any issues here. Unfortunately you can't wait in the building and will have to find an immediate ride back home so you're not waiting outside or walking. Went here for a trans issue, they figured it out quickly and were able to fix it in a couple days after I brought it in without scheduling an appointment. When my check engine came on a week later, they inspected my vehicle for the issue with no charge.

My husband Gary used them for years.Mike has probably done 10 trans for us and are family. The nicest person you will ever meet and has been totally honest in the prices are extremely low I recommend this place to anybody who is looking to get a great deal Mike is a wonderful man great company. I live 60 miles away now and I still take my vehicle to him to have it looked at if I have a problem. It's a little hard to get an appointment in there you might have to wait a little bit but it's well well worth it.

Great service!!! Highly reccomend this shop. Will def be doing any transmission work if i ever need them again. They stand behind their work and that is very very hard to find nowadays.

OK.......it's been almost four months following the work this shop did repairing the trans on my '97 Jeep Wrangler. This is a great shop!!......... I'm always apprehensive regarding 'who' works on my vehicles. Mike and the crew (from the young lady at the desk- to the actual techs) are superb craftsmen. They took the time I required to answer questions, a personal test drive to insure concerns were met and were very accurate with time promised to complete the job as well as great communication :). My vehicle hasn't run smoother regarding the trans in the 14 years I've owned it- I put almost 50 miles on it daily and it's approaching 200K. I'm the third owner. So worth the 20 mile trek (I pass a few other trans shops along the way). One final note- this is one of those Great American multi-generational shops of accrued knowledge, ethics and honest value. I won't go anywhere else. Thank's so much A and M!!!!.Keep the faith.!Service: Transmission

Great service! Honest and warranty their work. IF you need to use the warranty they honor it with no issues and are very accommodating with your time! Mike is Great! I would definitely recommend A&M transmission to anyone!

Couldn't be happier. Staff was very pleasant, and Mike was honest and up front with me, before getting to deep into it. Since it's an old truck with a lot of miles on it. You don't see that much anymore sad to say

Took my truck there because it was leaking transmission fluid. I thought I diagnosed it myself so I told Mike that I believed it was the trans pan gasket. It was a good thing I took it to the professionals because it ended up being something different. I took it in on Wednesday night (Jan 4th 2018) and got it back less than 24 hours later. Really fast and quality repairs. We also took our old 2004 Taurus there a few years ago and also had a great experience then as well. I will definitely bring my vehicles back here whenever a transmission problem arises again in the future. I highly recommend A And M transmission.

Great place! .... If you enjoy waiting forever, paying more than any other trans shop, and having the work they did fail after 6,000 miles, then I definitely suggest this place.Horrible shysters in my opinion.

These guys are great and the only honest trans place I will go. So glad I found them to depend on should I need transmission work again. They are fair priced and I would definitely recommend them over any.

It's nice to see that great customer service is still alive. My wife's truck needed a trans overhaul and it is back and as good as ever. Mike and his crew knocked this one out of the park.

Can't reccomend these guys enough they stand by their work and if theres a problem they make it right! It may take a bit to get your car worked on when hes busy but I always say if the mechanics lot is jam packed with customers cars and every time your there the guys are workin hard you've probably got a winner and these guys are no exception!

Great people. They tell you straight up what they are going to do and they do it and best yet they stand behind what they do. I had a trans rebuilt by them and I had one problem with it and it was still under warranty and fixed it now it's better than factory new

I drop my Chevy tracker off December 20th it's been there for months and they haven't rebuilt my rear and so maybe they're better at transmissions but I wouldn't take a rear end there I need my car back I'm putting mass of miles on my Jeep have been drive-in 2 hours A-day 7 days a week on my Jeep because these people had not fixed my Chevy tracker 2003 so it's been a horrible experience for me I hope you've all had a better experience but mine has been horrible
