I bought a set of tires a year ago which includes free rotations. I make an appointment at 1pm yesterday for that and a tune up.Well are you getting a tune up or a diagnostic testing? I explain my KIA has a 5 yr warranty which expires next month - I need to know if anything is wrong - like the transmission- he says what warranty?I should have left then.He tells me after looking at it / it will be a few hours. I say how many hours and do you offer any transportation-he says he doesn t know - I grab an UBer home.At 5:10 I receive a call that it s all set but they close at 5pm - it s 5:10 - I ask how do I get my car? I was thinking a drop key?He laughs and says you walk in and pay for it. So RUDE. I could say other words but I ll decline.$20 later in UBer fees I pick my car up. If I had a time to be back I would have arranged a ride back.I receive a statement of an oil change I declined for $89 ??? Why?I receive a receipt for spark plug changes and a engine cleaning - all for $398.I DID NOT receive a print out of a diagnostic testing like I have at every other service station. Who even knows if that happened.I plan on going to another service station to have everything rechecked. This wasn t funny and his name was Tom. NEVER Again!

No one new to tires and oil change should work here ever! This is the most horrible place I've ever worked! No teamwork! Manager lies all the time. Will choose to chew you out over simple things when customer is waiting on their vehicle then say you took to long you need to be more professional. I had 2 days of real training videos and and then was put in the back to work. The tire machine is broken in a lot of places. Parts worn out, lift 2 has been broke 3 months and was never tagged. I decided enough was enough and put in my two weeks then manager has been cleaning and getting all the things done that should have been done 3 months ago to cover himself from upper management. I feel I was fully mistreated in many ways. It was better to yell at me then fall in and help to get the customer out the door and taken care of. Then would go up front and blame the problem on the worker, manager and co workers that have experience. When you ask how to do something, will walk right past you and say nothing. Manager even tried to get me to open my Goodyear accounts for him to check off that I had completed my training when I had only watched 4 videos, that's a huge no no as well! DONT WORK HERE

I visited the Rochester MI location 7/3 for a tire rotation. I was directed to get an oil change, as the rotation was included. I was told that I cannot choose the $29.99 option as Bill told me that only $54.99 oil is compatible with my Scion XB. I was called urgently saying that my air filter had been chewed threw by rodents, and that I had a nail in my tire, and needed two new tires for over $400. I declined and picked up my car. I was not shown where the nail was, I'm unsure if there even is a nail? I also checked my air filter, it is dirty, but not damaged as I was told. This is some shady sales tactics that did not appreciate, and you have lost my business.What a scam!

I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Tom and Thomas.Today, I visited Good Year Auto Service in downtown Rochester to replace my tires. Despite their busy schedule, Tom was incredibly kind and went above and beyond by offering me a ride home while I waited for my tire change and even picked me up when my car was ready. He even went the extra mile by going to another store to get the inventory for my tires.As I planned a road trip next week, getting new tires was crucial, but I was struggling to get the service I needed from my dealership. That's where Tom and Thomas came in and saved the day with their exceptional professionalism and kindness.Thank you so much, Tom and Thomas. Your generosity and dedication will be remembered and appreciated.

Tom and Bill were Awesome! They helped me out with my 2005 GMC Canyon. It needed a fuel tank and they searched and could not find one. I found one on eBay and they put it on for me. It took 3 weeks to find one and they were very patient waiting and watching my truck for me. They made sure it was safe and sound in the garage. Thanks a lot GM for not making this tank had to go to a salvage yard to get the tank. Thank God I was able to find one and they took care it for me. Thanks again Tom and Bill. A loyal customer from now on.

Called and spoke with Tom about an issue I was having with my car. He was very professional and honest about the work I'd need done + the time it would take. I was able to schedule an appointment with them (so I could wait for the repair and not need to to get rides back and forth) when other local service places would only offer me "drop it off and hope we get to it today". Tom and his guys did a very quality job and at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back when I need future service on my vehicles.

I was thrilled with the service and price from Goodyear in Rochester.Not many companies pick up the phone before they re open and make sure the job is done even though they were closed. Gave us a great price. I would highly recommend them.Thank you to the manager that stayed after hours.Toni Brown

I had a nail in my tire and i went to goodyear to find out if i need it repaired he came out to me almost immediately and helped me and removed rhe nail and told me no need to repair as it is not losing any air did not charge me also thank you very much for your help!I will come back again!

It was 15 minutes before closing. The temperature was 5 degrees with high winds and blowing snow. I was trying to get my tire pressure right based upon a low pressure warning light. The manager said no problem. He did not even pull my car into the service bay, instead moving around my vehicle with an air hose in the polar weather. He charged nothing. This man and his store are champs in my opinion. Totally devoted to customer care and service. 5 Star!

What a disappointment this establishment is! My wife is 68 years old and went to them with a nail in her tire. She had called the day before and set up a appointment. When she showed up they wouldn't fix her her tier because it was 8 years old! Instead they wanted to sell her 4 new tires !! Her vehicle is garage kept and is in really good shape! They let her leave with the nail still in the tire lazy people who just want to make money off an older person what a shame. She went down the street and got it fixed with no questions for $20. I will make sure everyone knows about them shame on them for not looking out for someone in need! Lazy Lazy people!!

I went to Goodyear on a Saturday to get two new tires on my Chevy Equinox that were beginning to get bald. It was going to snow later in the day. I was in panic mode. They were extremely busy, but I told them the urgency, plus I work with special needs students and needed to get to work later in the day. They squeezed me in. In addition, they inspected the rest of the vehicle. I was in great shape. They did NOT try to sell me services that did not need to be done. They have a professional and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this location.

They are always incredibly honest and trustworthy. Tom especially took a very big chance of time to explain not only what was wrong with my car but also what deals there were to lower the financial burden. For as long as I live here they will be my go to mechanics.

I have been coming to Goodyear for close to a year now. The Customer Service is Excellent! Your car will be taking care of in a timely descent manner, and with a smile. Bill and the crew are the best so far. Prices are reasonable. They will always call and check with you before appyling any parts. Just Wonderful.

Great work in my daughters car. When we arrived to pick it up we found the cost was lower than estimated. They didn't do some of the work when they determined it wasn't necessary. I had already approved the work but they saved me almost $200. Thank you for your good work, honesty and professionalism. We will be back.

The customer service and knowledge of the service advisors and technicians is excellent . They stood behind their product( brakes and rotors 100%) as I was having a problem with vibration at higher speeds.I have and will continue to recommend this Goodyear Store 226 S Main , Rochester Michigan to all my friends and family members Tom Moody is the best

Go see Tom, you will be glad you did. This location is great. They are not pushy sales type of guys and above all they are honest. They will even show you everything they tell you. I even had a unique and challenging tire and wheel combo and Tom went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. In a world full of cheap products and even cheaper customer service... stop by Rochester Goodyear and see Tom and Bill. Their honesty and professionalism is worth your time. Keep up the great work guys... I will definitely be seeing you again!

I've bought tires from this Store for years. The location is awesome, right on Main Street Smack Dab in the middle of this beautiful town. Tom the Manager is awesome. He recently worked way harder than he needed to in order to help help me with a tire issue that wasn't even Goodyears Problem. The best way to judge a Company is if it works for a satisfied customer even if there is nothing to gain from it. Goodyear, the Rochester Store, and Manager Tom and his people are top notch in my book!

Few weeks ago my truck caught a screw causing a slow leak. Made a same day online appointment for repair. Dropped it off and skateboarded around the beautiful downtown. Called me after an hour, was 2 screws, all patched up and good to go. Best part, IT WAS FREE. 10/10 would go back.

Everyone at the Goodyear on Main Street in Rochester was very friendly and helpful! They truly care about their customers and the experience they have here. So happy to have new tires that were needed going into the winter season. Also, a proper alignment, which they showed me the specific values of what my alignment was before and what it was after they had fixed it. I am so satisfied and will definitely make sure to come in every 6,000 mike's for my next rotation.

Owner ordered parts, then refused to sign for them. Had a huge hissy fit and cussed me out. The people at car fix Shelby are much more deserving of your money

I don't get all these hate reviews. Went there for a tire rotation and oil change and they were pretty good. Yes, they did offer me additional services but it didn't feel like they were pushing or anything. They did offer me a battery change, which I was about to ask for a quote, so that really worked out.Also, I forgot my good year credit card and they were able to pull the number from their system.So, overall, a perfect experience for what I was looking for.

I stopped to get help removing my license plate to install a new one, having failed at every attempt to loosen the screws that had rusted to the car and fearful that I would strip them if I kept trying. The gentleman behind the counter immediately came out with me, got the screws off and put the new plate on. When I tried to pay him for his time and trouble he absolutely refused. Amazing customer service and kind assistance without making a buck off of it. I am tremendously impressed and appreciative.

Bill the service manager was super helpful and nice! He knew from the get-go I was just needing the free alignment check and spec print-out, and wasn t going to be paying for service. Nonetheless he not only provided that but went above and beyond by showing me parts of the car and explaining the workings. He even waited while I took pictures, and gave me his card in case I had future questions. It didn t seem to take as long as I thought - I was in and out inside of an hour. Highly recommend!

The only good thing was the guys at the front desk were fairly nice. Other than that they try to pressure you into buying literally everything. They tried to sell me a $169.99 alignment, not sure who would ever pay that much for an alignment. They also tell everyone that they really need an oil change, I had a couple more thousand miles before I was due and he still tried selling it. I had an 8am appointment for four new tires got there at 750 and they didn't have the car done until after 1030. This was my first time at this place and definitely my last! Stick with Belle Tire down the road.

Came in for tires left needing $2000 in repairs. Power steering fluid and radiator were empty before I got home. Never had a leak before I went there.

This place is awesome. I had to get an alignment on my 2011 Land Rover (that has aan air suspension that needs to be hooked up to a computer) and they were able to schedule me in same day. Came in at 8:30 and it was done at 11:30, with no appointment prior. I would definitely recommend.

After making an appointment I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. I was met by the manager, Tom who advised it shouldn't take too long. While in the service area I noticed there was social distancing indicators on the floor, hand sanitizer, plastic partition at the counter separating customer from staff, and large spaces between customer waiting area chairs. Additionally, ALL staff members including technicians were wearing masks.After a short time my car was ready and Tom mentioned that my car mileage indicated a transmission fluid exchange was in order. I thanked him for the reminder and advised that I would have him do it later this summer.I have been taking my vehicles to this location for many years and have always found the management and staff that I interacted with to be polite and professional. I also appreciate their various recommendations without feeling pressured.

Trust worthy and top notch ! Went in for an issue with vibration and my car was pulling also.After a brief check in and write up the staff had my car in and checked out.The manager suggested 4 tires and aligning my car and offered a trip in the garage to show me why.My car was in the air up on the rack and I could see my tires were bald on the inside edges butcouldn't see it at all while the car was on the pavement.They also had it hooked up to the alignment checker that had lots of red on the screen meaning thecar needed align.I got a great deal on 4 tires, an alignment with a 3 year warranty that cost a little more (169) but canhave my car aligned free for the next 3 years and some good rebates.I found these guys trust worthy and my car now rides like new again !Thank You !!

Bill Gilliand, the Service Manager and Juan Lopez, the technician who operated on my vehicle, provided both timely and quality service. I brought my car in with a suspected leak, they turned it around quickly and got me back on the road! Will definitely be a returning customer.
