The most unprofessional towing company I have ever dealt with. My car was towed by this company because it was stuck during the snow storm. From the moment I got there I was treated like absolute garbage. The ladies that work behind the counter are the most disrespectful and disgusting humans I have ever met in my life. I provided them with my keys to be able to get my registration out of the car, after getting my registration they refused to give me back my keys that were In my procession to begin with. After the older lady handed them back to me finally after realizing she is not able to just steal my keys from me, she called me a jerk and other foul names. Not sure why this old lady still works there and hasn t retired yet, but she does not belong in anybody s business interacting with customers.I came back after a couple hours with my ID to get the vehicle out, the older lady was gone but she was most definitely replaced with another lady that thinks she is entitled to speak to anybody however she wants. As I walked in there with my brother, I was letting him know how rude the lady here was to me earlier. As soon as I walked in, the lady now behind the counter started to question my brother and I what we were talking about. Which is none of her business to begin with. We let her know that we weren t talking about her since I never had a conversation with her to begin with. She was offended and started having an attitude and throwing my ID and debit card back to me instead of handing it to me. After finally walking out of the office and not stepping down to their low IQ level and unprofessionalism, I was told hope to never see you back here again I was shocked and turned around and asked why she would say that when they are the ones being rude and calling me names while I have stayed nice and professional towards them. She had no response, so I walked out.after walking to my car, I knew there had to be icing on the cake and sure enough my entire front grill was ripped off and damaged. I walked back in to the office and asked them who I can report damages to and I was not being acknowledged even though there were at least 6 employees standing there. After asking the question for a 2nd time, I was finally handed a business card and told to leave the office.I was charged a total of $255 for a car that was towed 1 mile away and picked up not even an hour later.I would not recommend this towing company to my worst enemy. The most unprofessional employees and company I have ever dealt with. STAY AWAY!!!

Very fast and very fair on price. On site within 30 minutes and winched out in 10 minutes after that. Thank you guys for the great job.

When it was time to get the truck back on the road for my son, Byers showed up in 20 min, and the driver was beyond polite and personable. 224,000 miles and I feel good about Ol' Red's first time on a flatbed. Seriously, call these folks and you won't be disappointed.

If I could put 10 stars I would! My insurance company sent a tow truck company from Southgate Michigan to Auburn Hills to assist me because me and my sons vehicle was stuck in the ditch (he slid off and I tried to assist). Mr.Byers pulled up like a man sent by God! He schooled the rookie that initially showed up. Mr.Byers laid down some flashing hazard lights and promptly got us on our way!

My car decided to blow an air line 30 miles away from home. Even though the car was practically laying frame on the side of a 75 on ramp, the drivers for Byers were able to load it without issue. The care and ingenuity they showed won t be forgotten. Never had a bad experience with them, but this one was special.

This place has the rudest snottiness lady that Is at the front at the desk o called the main number to complain and she was just as snotty and I know she won t say anything to the owner. Tow truck guys gave wrong information and now can t get the vehicle what a DAMN SHAME SHAME ON THES BYERS TOWING COMPANY

Had the opportunity to ride with the owner yesterday and was impressed by the amount of great equipment and knowledge of his team. They have the correct equipment for any towing or recovery job you may have. I ve been in the towing industry for over 25 years myself and was very impressed.

AMAZING company. Especially if you are from out of town or a women and do not want to be taken advantage off. I was stuck in a small amount of mud. They responded in a very quick manner, and was able to drive the car out. Their price was very fair and appropriate. Another unethical company represented themselves as being in Rochester, however, they are based out of Pontiac and quoted me $310.00 I called Byers, and the lady was so friendly and kind and quoted me $75.00 and that is exactly what I was charged. I can't thank them enough as I am from out of town on vacation. Please use this company. Thank you for being such an honest companhy.

We were up in Flint Michigan picking up a load with our box truck and enclosed trailer. Something happened with the front axle spindle assembly, and our truck was no longer drive-able. Unfortunately, none of the shops in the area could repair the truck for us, and we ultimately had no choice but to have it towed all the way back to Indiana, which was 3 hours away from where we were. We called around to a few places, and nobody was willing to tow us. Finally we reached out to Byers down in Rochester. They agreed to do the tow for us all the way back to Indiana. Due to the height of the box truck, this was a unique situation, but they came through for us. The main man Bill Byers came out and made this happen! Very down to earth guy. If we're ever in another sticky situation up in the greater Detroit area and need help, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in a heartbeat. The price they charged us was very reasonable as well. I was in an accident today and Auburn Hills police department had then come get my car, a 2019 Kia (I do not use my name on google so using this name won t help you find me in your system). Truck driver didn t say more to me than does your car drive at all. Never asked if I had somewhere in mind for my car to be taken too, never left me a business card, never told me where he was taking my car. He just hitched it and sped off leaving me to stand in the middle of the road while he bolted with my car.

Needed a tow when my sons pickup broke down. Called Byers in Rochester knowing that they were the closest to my location. Dispatcher was very pleasant and friendly, she said they would be to me in a half an hour. Only waited 25 minutes and Ryan was at my location ready to help. Ryan was friendly and personable and did a great job loading the vehicle taking care not to damage it. When we got back to my house he was able to drop the vehicle exactly where I asked him to without causing any damage to my yard or concrete. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely call Byers if I need a tow in the future. Kudos to Ryan! Keep up the great work!Service: Car towing

Today my tire on my 2002 Chevy Blazer exploded on Letica Rd and Kris the tow truck driver arrived in less than 25 minutes and took me to Firestone tire in Downtown Rochester to get my tire repaired. Super nice and chill guy. Outstanding service today. A plus service and generosity. Will definitely use again if I get a flat tire.Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Had trevor pickup my cammed g8 when the fuel pump took a dump, he came out and got the car loaded up and on the road super fast, simple and easy. On top of the outrageous cost to tow my car from an accident ($526.00), when I questioned what the $45.00 admin fee was for, tge girl that took my payment had no clue, another older women spoke up and said that s for processing the paperwork. Then I had to wait outside for my ride to pick me up and after waiting an hour I asked if they had a phone I could use and they said no. Overall a terrible experience.Service: Car towing

I had called them for my neighbor who couldn't speak English and her and her boyfriend had gotten their car stuck on the curb parking spot. My neighbors were pretty embarrassed but they were grateful. I made them feel comfortable, because I guess 2 other places wouldn't come. When I got home and saw what happened, the holy spirit made me help and call Byers wrecker. They really are fast and efficient and helped them out. Told estimated wait time was one hour and that was fine!!! Great job Byers, God bless your business and I hope you get more business and great great reviews!!!

Quick response, fair rate. Would've given 5 stars if I hadn't been immediately bombarded by requests for ratings from two different numbers, before I'd thawed out enough to drive home.Simply needed a boost, after leaving lights on for 40 minutes on a 20 degree day. Driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and got me going less than 5 minutes after arriving. $25-$45 charge is what I expected based on living in Virginia last few years, $50 not bad for Detroit metro area.Chose Byers based on Google rating and the fact that they were closest to my location. Would definitely use them again if needed.Just cool it with the follow up, hey? Allow 90 minutes for a person to feel human again and express their appreciation, instead of irritating the sh*t out of him while he's trying to get back on schedule.Note: Owner responded very nicely to my original review. I should note that I realize the requests for a review were likely part of an automated service system, which at its core is a good thing - businesses that give poor service don't care what customers think once they've paid.SINCE REVIEWS ARE FOR SERVICE PROVIDED, WHICH WAS EXCELLENT, UPGRADED TO 5 STARS.

Sunday evening after an event at the Rochester Community House, as we were about to leave, my wife's car would not start. After a long time of dealing with OnStar we were SO RELIEVED to see a local Byers wrecker pull up to help us out. It was a busy night, first icy roads of the year. I was estimated 40 mins but they showed up earlier than that, I was thankful. My tow truck driver was fast which was a plus for how cold it was and offered me a ride my destination without me having to ask, very courteous. We were having a family day out for Memorial Day, when we came out to our car after getting lunch and the tire on our car was flat. We were about 40 miles from home and just happened to call Byers to come change our tire. Zach arrived to our location in less than the time that we were told it would be. Zach was professional and competent and really did a quick, thorough job!! We even made it to our movie on time. Thanks so much Zach! Our day really could have been ruined but you will never know how much your promptness meant to us.Service: Tire change

The tow truck driver was a PRO and very conscientious of my car. He told me that the cost was $125 (that is more than their norm because it is a collectible) to hook up and $4.00 per mile. We went 38 miles so the cost should have been $277. When the driver called into the office to confirm the Owner Jim Byers told him to charge me $400. The driver was honest about it and told me the charge but should be $277 but he couldn t do anything about it. Of course I had to pay it but I then called American Express and they took care of it for me.Service: Special vehicle towing

Easy to make an appointment for pickup. Super courteous on the phone. Driver was prompt, EXACTLY on time. Got the car up quickly and efficiently, got me to the repair shop quickly. Parked the car for me and ran the keys into me while I was waiting to talk to someone at the shop. Highly recommend Byers!

Let me start by saying that I have never given a google review before. I understand that many people use reviews to find services, and the last thing I want to do is hurt a good businesses rating because of one bad experience. If i could rate Byers based on service I would give them a 5. If i could rate them on value I would give them a 1. My wife and about 20-30 other moms were stuck on the grass at the local elementary school in Rochester the other day. It had rained for three days straight so they were all able to pull into the flat grassy overflow parking area just as they normally do. Long story short, Byers had 5 or so trucks there in a heartbeat to pull out the cars at about 5-10 minutes per car. The service was friendly. My issue is that each person was charged $75. I am all about being an opportunist when it comes to business, but $75 per car seems a bit excessive. I am not saying to not use them. Just know that they aren't trying to be affordable.

Top notch service every time you need them . Every time you call on them , they go and handle whatever mess you throw at em. Bill Byers and his team will give 100% EVERY TIME .
