Usually frequent at the quick lube in Howard City so when I was driving by and seen the Quick Lube sign, i decided i would just stop at this one. huge mistake. When I pulled in the dude didn t even bother to ask any types of questions. He said a total of 5 statements to me, turn it off , turn it on , turn it off , what s your mileage at? , and cash or credit . that s it. didn t bother to ask the oil type or if i wanted a full service or just the oil change. he didnt bother to tell me the amount it was going to cost before or when he took my card, come to find out he charged me 89.95! (yes kinda my fault for not asking but still). I drive a 2008 ford taurus limited, yet my receipt says i drive a ford five hundred . When i seen he charged my card basically $90 i asked if he even did a full service for i pay $67 at Howard city s quick lube for a full service. He told me he did do a full service on it and that everything was good, yet none of my fluids were topped off and it is visible especially in the windshield wiper wash fluid. On my receipt he marked that i only got the oil changed, not the full service, so how did i manage to be charged $90 for just an oil change and air filter. Even tried to call once i got home to figure out why all of this stuff is incorrect and not credible to what he had told me, but no answer. WILL NEVER BE RETURNING.

Not an ideal first stop place if you re on a tight schedule. This is the 2nd time I have waited for the shop to open at business hours posted and no one shows up. I left town after the tire place down the road squeezed me in 2 hrs later and still no one here at this location. Please update hours of service so people are not waiting around all morning or day.

What a joke. Surprise he is still in operation. Maybe that's why his prices are so ridiculously high!! Do NOT recommend this place!

I have never been ripped off getting an oil change before so I didnt pay much attention to what was going on. The guy didnt even change my oil or filter! Just filled it and charged me 68.00. Didnt even show me the dipstick! I had my son look at my oil the next day and it was old and dirty! I'm sitting g here now and its 10 am on a friday and no one is even here! And they open at 9!

Sign Advertised as a Quaker State quick lube. It most definitely was not. I pulled in to have my oil changed and presumably fluids checked, lights, air in tires, etc. The man running the place opened up the hood and got to work changing my oil. Never asking what type of oil i wanted or showing me it was topped off when done. Nothing else. Never checked anything else a typical Quaker state would do. When i asked if he was going to check my tires he seemed suprised, but did it. Then asked how i was paying and put his hand out. Never gave me a total til after i was charged. To my suprise I was charged 67!!! Never in my life have i paid that much for an oil changed. My kids were ready to go so i left, but decided to call and get an explaination as to why it was so much and why he didn't do all the other services they normally do. I was informed he is not affiliated with Quaker State so he doesn't have to do what they do. He just using their name up for branding. Then i was told it cost so much because he put in synthetic oil. Which i never use! He said I could have requested a different kind, but since i was never asked, I didn't even get the option. He said he normally does repeat customers so is use to people just trusting him. I told him I don't know you. So i wouldn't just trust someone i didn't. Told me i could come back and have fluids double checked if i wanted. Which to me was no solution. Will definitely not return. Unprofessional at every level and overcharging is never a good way to get a new return customer.

I want to give this place more stars because when the man that runs it is there, he is nice, efficient, and doesn't overcharge. The problem is, he comes and goes as he pleases. My wife sat there for 45 minutes during his posted business hours and the guy never showed. I then tried as well a few weeks later and it was the same story. Couple that with it is very run down and not maintained and I realized this is s place we should no longer go.

Holy ess! Ida just went to valvoline had I known I was gunna be charged so much! Granted, had to add a half gallon of coolant. But jeez!

Broke dipstick handle and failed to own up to it. Five days later when I realized it was broken I returned. He, presumably owner, told me my car was junk and to "get the f out and don't come back." I will be taking his advice. Also overcharged 10.00 and said in store price sign was out of date. Filled vehicle with 5w30 instead of proper 5w20.

The fastest oil change ever. Seriously I think it was maybe 10 to 12 minutes in and out. No BS, just good fast service.

Totally cuts corners. Basically changes the oil and that's all. Had the nerve to tell me that if I pick up a gallon of coolant, he'd pour it in for me. That's supposed to be part of the service you already perform for $50, bud.
