Amazing place and experience from staff to pontoon. Service was excellent, they answered all questions and were so pleasant to do business with while we were on vacation. Will 100% be back and next time will be renting for the whole weekend!

Ocean gate owners brother!WARNING. NO REGARD FOR YOUR SAFETY OR FAMILY! The owner stole our money and wouldn't cancel our reservation. Storms swrilling, Canadian smoke. Our family could barely breath, storms swrilling and the owner says " I make the determination about the weather...it could be narley storms north on the water but sunny to the south end" Good luck dodging the lightning! Rude, disrespectful, no regard for safety.He kept our 500 dollarsThief, Crook, Con Man!No regard for human beings, safety or the rules of the water.

We rented a pontoon boat for a day on Torch Lake! They were awesome!!!! A young lady helps us out and she was awesome and very accommodating! It was our first boating Experience and they were kind and helpful. Also unlike other places their prices are fair. We rented a boat, two person tube and deposit and it cost less then a boat rental alone at other places. We will definitely be coming back!!!

So I struggle to believe the low ratings this place received. I was concerned at first after reading them. However, the staff was nothing but helpful from the start. I couldn't access the site to book online so the owner took the time to get me locked in over the phone. Upon arrival I was impressed with how well maintained the place was. Beautiful to say the least. I also was briefed on the river route to the lake which helped a bunch. It was a bit breezy and docking was challenging but staff members were there to assist! Awesome place! I will return! Thx!!!

Boats appeared brand new and were super clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and made the day easy and fun. We loved being able to go up to Torch Lake or Elk Lake. Fairly priced, but there is no Apple Pay so be sure to bring a card!

The boat was great, looked like new and the staff was helpful and efficient. We asked to report the rental to the next day twice in a row because of the terrible air quality (wildfires smoke) and they were nice enough to agree and go over their policy so very grateful for that.

booked a weekend boat slip here for labor day weekend. great facility, parking, restrooms, ice, etc. but above that, on labor day our truck brakes went out and we had a 5 hour ride home towing a boat. the owner helped us replace the pads bc no shops were open. we are so grateful.

Do not waste your time! We hired them to remove our boat lifts and dock for the season, the day they were supposed to do the job, the owner called me told me there was too much too remove, when I tried to explain where things were put in the years previously he told me he didn t have time for to figure out where to put stuff, called me rude, quit the job and hung up on me! Then he would not answer my calls when I tried to call back! I have never dealt with such a rude and unprofessional company.

Im in shock the transformation this marina has undergone. Always a good time. Wish they had jet ski rentals or speedboats. If you need gas or wanna stop and grab a bite to eat. Fill the cooler up with ice.

We switched to Luhr's for our hoist/dock installs last year and they have been great to work with. Easy to schedule, very communicative. Awesome customer service. Highly Recommend.

Rental was super easy! They were quick and kind to get us out on the water. No issues, and the boat was super nice!! Torch lake was beautiful, we will be using them again next year!

The only nice thing I have to say is that the guys on deck were very nice. Other than that, dealing with this company was a nightmare. First, I accidentally deleted my confirmation email and called to see if it could be resent. I was told that was not possible for some reason, and they were very unhelpful and rude about it, actually laughing at my request. On the day if our rental, the weather was horrible. The website says to call before you arrive to be sure they are still sending boats out. I called about 2 minutes before they opened, the phone rang about 7 times, no one answered, so I hung up. I waited about 10 minutes, called, and they told me we could boat. We were on our way! As we were almost there, I got a call from the marina. A lady said someone called them from my number and did not leave a message. She told me not to call there anymore. I said, excuse me, I was confused. She yelled don't call back and hung up on me. Again, rude and unprofessional! We took the boat out and had an amazing day despite the weather. When we returned to the dock, they filled the gas, and we owed about $50. The guy asked if I just wanted that to come out of my deposit. I said sure. The next morning I got my deposit back, but they had taken $80 out! There was no explanation of why at all. We called to ask about the extra charge, and they claimed there was a small rip on the seat and that we were lucky it could be repaired and didn't need replaced. There was no rip on the seat! There was no mention of this at all during our checkout or anything. Throughout the entire process, this company was rude and unprofessional. We have rented from other companies in the area with no problems! I will definitely never return here again!

I recently had the pleasure of renting a pontoon boat from here, and I must say that my experience was exceptional. The boat was in excellent condition, clean and well maintained.

We used Luhr's Landing to launch our 28.5' boat. The best launch on the entire of chain of lakes for a boat this size! The employees were extremely friendly, the bathrooms very clean, and plenty of space to park truck and trailer. We'll be back!

I would not recommend Luhrs. I would give zero stars if I could. The owner and some employees were extremely rude. We had their in and out service for two years. Not once did we have a pleasant experience. It actually became very stressful for us. I stored my boat there over the winter and they dented the railing. We also had them work on our boat and they had two weeks to work on it. They did never fixed it and charged me a lot. As a bonus the owner yelled at me for needing to take my boat to another marina. I took it to another marine. They found the problem and it should have been found by Luhrs. Also, when they gave us a price for winterizing last winter and it was double the price.This place is poorly ran and are rude. There a few people who work there who are nice, but they constantly trying to make up for how rude the owner is.

Our group of large powerboats had a great experience at Luhrs over the 4th of July holiday. The new launch was great and easily handled a 38ft boat. The staff was amazing and accommodating and was right there with multiple people to help every time we came to pull in or launch. Large safe area for parking and clean bathrooms with showers. Thanks to all the staff for the great experience. We will be back!

Great boat rental! Beautiful boats and fun tubes to rent, we called last minute and weren't sure if we wanted to do a full or half day rental due to having a baby with us and they were very accommodating! Would highly recommend and will definitely use next time we are in the area. Very friendly staff!

I rarely do reviews, but i had to write a review after our experience . This business is the WORST, most unprofessional place I have ever been to! We reserved/paid in full for a boat for a full day. When we got to Luhrs Landing, the clouds were dark and it was about to storm. We showed the employee and owner the weather radar, showing that lightning/thunderstorms were about to start and expected to last for half the day. We said we didn't feel safe going out on a metal pontoon boat, and wanted our money back since on the website it mentioned if the weather was bad, we'd get a full refund. When we asked for a refund, they wouldn't give us one. The owner told the employee to tell us we can go out on the boat and come back if lightning strikes, but either way we would not get a refund. They basically take your money and then won't issue a refund even under severe weather circumstances. They are not true to their word, and only care about their business/money and not the safety of the boaters. Even the employee said the owner changes his mind about decisions last minute and isn't true to his word. After we sat in the parking lot while it was thunderstorming to wait to talk to the owner (who was busy talking to someone who sounded like they were having issues with the business too), we finally were able to get the owner to issue us a refund due to severe weather. What a headache of a place! Never, ever go there!

As we pulled up at the end of the day to load our ski on to the trailer the owner was directing the flow. When I say directing I mean he was yelling at people and attacking everyone. He ran up to me (after attacking another lady for asking him a question and then yelling at my wife) to tell me I had to be last because I was inconsiderate and threatened to move my truck with a forklift. Although I was just in line to be next.Long story short the owner is very unpleasant and I m not sure how he has customers with the way he treats people. The very people keeping his doors open. Safe to say I will not be supporting this business again.

I can only give one star and that is for the employees that put us in the water. Very nice. Contract was not honored. We booked a tritoon and was given a double.Cancellation insurance was purchased so that we could cancel 830 am day of in case of bad weather. Called day before to confirm plans and was told we had to cancel day prior. The man I spoke with said their website had the wrong info. Bad weather occured during our boat ride and swamped our pontoon. daughter called to see if we could be picked up at another launch and was told they would call back which they never did. We were experienced boaters having owned a pontoon for several years. Will rent from another company in the future.

rented a tube and a boat online, got there and was charged for both but then was told our boat didn't have an anchor for the tube so we would be refunded. also the boat stopped working halfway into the session and had to be towed back. never was refunded for tube or compensated for wasting our money.. now they said to quit calling bc they don't do any refunds

Nice boat, terrible business. rented 8 hours but will NEVER support this business again. Never was warned about storm that was coming in and had to tie down at a store for 2.5 HOURS that didn t let any of their Pontoon renters go out on the lake AT ALL because of the storm & we were never even warned. Tried to talk to owner about issue to work through $$$ and employee was very aggressive, unprofessional and rude. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. They don t care about your well being only your money!!

Rented the "owners" tri-toon with Bluetooth system. Was not a tri-toon, nor did it have advertised bluetooth let alone even a aux hookup.Then the owner tried forging damage that was not from us, stating it's his boat and that a dented panel apparently was not like that when his wife last used it, even though he was not there when we left.The owner also happened to notice this minor dent 7 seconds after we docked from 60' away...said dent was barely noticeable from 10' away once he ran over and showed it. The owner also happened to know it was exactly $500 to fix the alupanel (mind you the fine print for rental says $250 damage deposit).One employee also knew exactly how to fix it to the point it was not noticeable againfagain next renter, yet we had to pay to fix. After confronting the owner for running over and pointing exactly to a location he/his employee knew how to fix he quickly said no charge and he just have us "blacklisted" from torch lake rentals. He then decided $150 and wouldn't blacklist us if we just paid.We made calls to boating areas near us the next day and were told it's common to have the fencing dent and averages a $80 fix.Shady practice and owner, look elsewhere

We were going there on intentions of renting kayaks but after talking with Tina we decided a pontoon would accommodate what we wanted to do in the short time we had left on our trip. We had a blast on torch lake! The boat ran good, super clean and plenty of room. Thank you for making our day memorable!! See you next year!!! =)

Very professional. Did a great job on safety. Nice people to deal with. Boat was in great condition. Reasonable prices for our pontoon boat. We did a half day trip. It was fun to take kids to swim at the sandbanks.
