Blew the tension pulley on our Jeep on the way back.to Gladwin. The nicest young man helped us replace the part and get us back on the road. Don't know his name but sending a HUGE THANK YOU! He should GET A RAISE!

Slowest delivery of all auto parts stores in town. 2 1/2 hours for my last delivery, and I'm in town. Advance Auto delivered this order.O'Reilly, Autovalue and Napa are all faster on deliveries. Hard to run a business and keep techs making money when they are standing around waiting on parts.

They had everything that I had ordered ready for me when I got there to pick up the stuff I ordered and it was all the right stuff that I needed and didn't have to go back to return any part's that I had and they were very helpful when asking them a question about the vehicle that i was working on. They also helped me out taking the part's to my truck because I am disabled and have to use a walking cane to get around so the guy helping me put the stuff on a cart and pushed it out to my truck and put all the stuff on the floor of my passenger side front seat. I definitely recommend this store to anyone who has to get part's to work on their vehicle.

Item out of stock, but at least they carry it normally. Most auto stores sell sets rather than individual tools that can be purchased in a set even though you will likely never use the rest of the set.

Didn't have the belt I needed which wasn't a surprise as it was for a 30 year old Toro snow thrower. But they didn't even offer to attempt to order it. So I went to a competitor who DID offer to order it and I was able to pick it up next morning after 8 AM

It's my experience that this auto parts store offers less " In store stock " than other auto chains in the area. Rather than installing a barrier between the customer and cashier, they have a rope stretched across the checkout counter approximately 3 feet away from the counter, making it an inconvenience to not only pay, but, placing your items for checkout, from that distance, sometimes requires assistance from one of the less than motivated staff. My opinion is... Much easier and more convenient to shop one of the many other auto parts stores within walking distance of Advanced Auto in Houghton Lake, Mi.

Terrible. Been here 3 days in a row to pick up an part we ordered and still it isn't in as promised. Last trip we called ahead and they said it was in only to get there and they can't find it. Very inexperienced employees

Great service and the guy that helped me actually new what he was talking about I was at a different auto parts store and was told a wiper blade is a wiper blade Advance Auto will be my go to place for anything I need

Good thing is they had the tool on the shelf, the bad thing was the price was 3 times the price of the 5 found on line that takes ten days to recieve it through slow poke delivery service.

Great service, very helpful ordered parts from warehouse, told me it would be at the store location by noon, called me that the part was in sooner than expected ready for pick up.It doesn't get any better than that.

Don't believe a review from Tim Burns. Yes he did work for us, as Part Time, not full time. And we didn't fire him for that reason, he's an idiot. Apparently he wrote repair manuals for someone but doesn't know what parts are, consistently gave customers wrong parts, and had zero idea on how to work on stuff. So before you slander a company Tim, accept responsibility for you being a retard..

Employee's are over tested, overworked & underpaid. They promise is 40 hours a week but give others 20 hours a week. And give me 4 hours a week twice a month, to keep you from getting healtcare. I seen them fire personal for making more then 40 hours a week. I am a good employee, on time and did what im asked to do. So they wanted me to work on black friday, i told the boss im going out of town. I had someone else fill in for me. So they fired me.While there CFO, CEO, reinvest towards there competitors. They just do what other corporation's do and end up selling us all out. Everything is the same from other stores, and it's all made in china. In my opinion your can run a corporation with out CEO,CFOs. But you cant without employees taking care of business.

About half the staff had already had their hands on my exact project before so they know exactly what I'm talking about when I go in. And although a lot of my projects are beyond standard maintenance even when they need to order the part it's there within a few days

If you are going to buy parts from these people, make sure you have them go pit their hands on the part. Even though they told me they did, when I arrived the part was not in stock. Bunch of 15 year olds!

So I stopped her to buy a battery for the garden tractor before he was selling one he checked her old one it was fine I was wrong so he saved me purchase of a battery thank you
