You should take your car here! Fair prices and nice people.I do have one complaint tho, it's the 4% upcharge when using a card.The up charge doesn't bother me but not knowing about it until I arrived is a bummer.I would still recommend taking your vehicle here, they do good work and a fair price.Edit:Please refer back to "The up charge doesn't bother me but not knowing about it until I arrived is a bummer."It's not the charge that bugs me it was being blind sided by it when I arrived. Had I known about it I would have brought cash. Having a sign on the register doesn't help me know about it before I arrive.I'm editing this review because I genuinely believe this is a good, no great company and I am just trying to give feedback, and make sure that feedback is heard, not ruin a reputation.Please take this into consideration:When you text someone with the price, send them the price for cash and the price for card. An example of this would be "$100 if using cash and $104 if using card." Or even "don't forget there's a 4% upcharge when using a card"That's all I'm asking and is seems very fair.I still think it's great what you're doing, and I hope this is taken as constructive criticism, I mean no attacks by this. You all do great work.I will happily remove any negativity from this review if you take up the business practice of warning people of the 4% charge before they arrive on property.I hope you have a good day and I hope this did not stress you out too much as that was not my intention at all

Nick and his team have been there for me for a few years. Would never leave my vehicle anywhere else, very trust worthy and honest. Highly recommend them for all of your vehicle needs. Thanks again guys!

Nick fixed the cracked front molding on my '14 Accord, the rusted/peeling/dented area on the lower body where I ran over an ice mount, a scrape and rusted area on the passenger door where I hit a dumpster, a deep door ding I got at Ellison brewery, and a couple tiny rust areas. The car looks new, was ready right on schedule, and the price was FANTASTIC! One-third the cost of a written quote I got from another shop! Thanks Nick.

Jacob is awesome and the whole reason I went here for my service. He was able to get me in quickly and fixed within a few days. Price was way cheaper then others in the surrounding area for the same job. Highly recommend Jacob for his work and honesty.

I'd hit a family a deer I took my vehicle to HD Auto after talking to Nick on the phone. He told me he would get right on it as soon as he had clearance from my insurance company. Let me tell you he kept to his word he did an excellent job I would definitely go back there.

I brought my vehicle here after it sat at another shop for a week and they couldn t figure out what was wrong with it, I had it dropped off at HD late on a Friday and by Wednesday morning it was back running better than it did when I bought it. Nick and his team blew me away with how thorough they were and how he stayed in touch with me through every step. I m incredibly happy with the price and service and will definitely be bringing my vehicles here from now on! Thanks again HD auto!!!

Nick and his crew gave us amazing customer service. We ended up taking our Chevy Equinox there for body work after getting in an accident in Dec. He went above and beyond expectations for us. Really amazing service! I needed headlights replaced on my travel van by Friday (today is Monday). Nick said bring it in. We left right then and drove it over. Told him a few other issues we were having. Everything was fixed and it was ready in 3 hours at a more than reasonable price. Very friendly people. Will for sure be back!

I had been having MANY issues with my vehicle and was referred to HD Auto by a friend. I was blown away with the team there. They are professional and incredibly helpful. I ve now taken my vehicle there 3 times, and every single time it s done faster than expected. Nick was also willing to do a payment plan with me knowing I was tight on money. I will never go anywhere else! Highly recommend HD Auto! Thanks guys!

My cadillac broke down on Saturday and these guys have been absolutely amazing! They were able to get to the root of the problem and fix my car for a very reasonable price. I have been ripped off in the past by auto shops and since have been very leary about taking my car to a shop. I normally call my brother or a friend when I have car trouble but now I will call these guys for any future repairs. I would highly recommend them If you have any repair needs or need a new car they can help you I'm sure. I would call them first. Service: Auto engine diagnostic

HD Auto-shop not only accepted my vehicle upon a 2 day notice but had it repaired and ready for pick up the very next day. Nick was very attentive and professional, while trying to understand what I was explaining to what may be the problem. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and honest! It s not easy finding a good auto-body/mechanic shop, but I feel I did with HD. They will be my trusted shop, going forward! Thank you HD!!!

I live near by HD Auto Body and needed to have my rear brakes done about a month ago. They were able to get them installed very quickly and under an hour. Very professional crew and comfortable waiting room area. Thank you for helping me get back on the road. I will definitely be back again!

We're beyond grateful for Nick and the mechanic Jake there at HD Auto. Covid has really affected our homestead and money Continues to be tight. My vehicle needed suspension work that was unsafe and having 2 littles and being a 1 car family, the work had to be done before winter. Nick got the work done for us with no problem and worked a payment plan with us. Their pricing was very fair and their honesty just remarkable! Thank you Nick for working with us. We'll definitely be back with all of our vehicle needs and sending others your way!!

I needed my vehicle fixed for a trip and couldn't find anyone. When I called Nick got my vehicle in right away and had it quoted within a half hour and fixed within a day. My car is now running amazing and the customer service was amazing and fixing my vehicle was a great price. Definitely will be a return customer!! Thank you guys!!! Highly recommend this place!!!!

Was in Portege with my wife visiting our first grandbaby. On the way home our van overheated and loss power. We are 95 miles from home where do we take our vehicle looking on the internet we picked H & D. The best choice ever. This was on a Sunday their day off they still take the time to talk to us about was wrong with our vehicle. My van was fixed within a few days. The people that work and own this place our very professional and very caring. One of the most amazing parts is the cost I was really relieved at the cost. Thank you H & D for reminding me and my wife that their is still honest places out there that take good care of people. GOD BLESS

Called them on Wednesday morning. Got the car to them on Wednesday afternoon. They had the car fixed Friday morning. Grant you it was a hose, not an easy hose to get to for the power steering. We are so happy that we took our car to them. First time customer but it will not be the last. Great job and Great people.

Two things people look for in search of an auto mechanic 1)fair pricing 2)honesty/integrity. You will find all of this here. Their prices seem to be average/going rate for the market. Their honesty, integrity, & standing behind their work set them apart from others.. making HD Auto Body and Mechanical a place you ll return to. Without going into the whole story, parts are sometimes faulty &/or humans make mistakes. These gentlemen did the honest thing & made it right, with a reasonable turnover. Car is running great now. Thank you!

I live in dimondale, A couple years ago I asked a question in a facebook group about needing a mechanic and would like to keep it local. 7 people said the same name. HD auto body. He's been my go to guy since then. Nick is awesome. Give him a chance. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing service! Very prompt I'm getting my car in for the work and worked great with my insurance company on expediting the approval process.I will take all of my auto body work and referral to HD whenever the chance comes up.Highly recommend!

Great customer service and workmanship . He fixed my car up wonderfully . Definitely exceeded my expectations I was nervous it wouldn t look the same once done . It looked perfect and he was willing to work with the cost... definitely would recommend and will be returning if ever needed !

Excellent customer service and quality workmanship. HD Auto certainly goes the extra mile to exceed customer expectations at affordable pricing. The one on one consideration is a breath of fresh air as opposed to the body shops that typically treat you like a number. HD Auto is reliable, respectable, reasonable and always recommendable.

OMG!! This man is a genius! My daughter hit a deer and totally demolished her Charger! She brought the parts she needed and now after HD Auto Body it looks brand new! I then was hit by a deer myself and I knew where I was going to take it! Yes HD Auto Body! Done a spectacular job, reasonable and a joy to work with! I recommend 100%!!!!!

Flawless work, fantastic pricing, and great customer service! I had to get some work done on my boat which included fiberglass repair, and I was a little skeptical at first since I didn t read anything about them doing fiberglass, but after I saw the finished product I will go no where else and will highly recommend them!

Excellent communication and incredible customer service. Repairs were completed in a timely and quality-oriented fashion and when there were any hiccups or problems I was notified right away.Highly recommend, great small town shop.
