The lady at window was the most rude person i have come across at a business. Sits in the office behind the counter but refuses to help even a minute before the listed time on the office. Also this business is not open 24/7. Please correct it and hope someone else doesn't have a car shut down or accident near ionia.

They will leave you on the side of the road in the rain even tho we have full coverage insurance and rode side assistance do not go through these people they are unprofessional as hell

This is the number one towing company that I have worked for not only are they respectful they have a lot of integrity and keep my workplace, safe and clean. I give them five stars because of the fact that they treat not only their customers but their employees as if they are family, I highly recommend this company and that s not just because I work for them.

I work in HVAC and Jan 12th 2024 my Work Truck got stuck three times in heavy six inch snow. I slid down a hill and almost over into a ditch. Paul from Reed and Hoppes picked my Work Truck up and brought it back to Lansing where I live and gave me a ride. There was no way my Work Truck was going to make it. Paul was awesome! Made me feel a lot better about my situation, got me home same, and we had some great conversations. Thank you Paul!

Did a road side call for fuel and they used pliers to remove the fuel filters and denied doing so!! Truck had been leaking fuel since the service took place.VERY DEFENSIVE and it upset me..bad business.. it's not about denying the issue it's about fixing the problem going forwardService: Fuel delivery

I broke down on 96 with my truck and gooseneck horse trailer. It was an extremely hot day and I had 2 horses in the trailer. Reed and Hoppes answered their phone immediately and arrived on-scene within 20 min. The driver was polite, competent and efficient. My son ran his car off the road and a Reed & Hoppes truck just happened to come by. The driver stayed with my son for three hours until the police arrived. We paid a fair price to have the car towed to their lot and my son was dropped off at a local motel. The next day we had to have the car towed again to a local body shop and Reed & Hoppes did not charge us again. They went above and beyond. Thank you!Service: Car towing

Had a flat tire on my Tahoe at i96 and Saginaw highway. Tow truck driver showed up and had my tire changed in 15-20 minutes. Very professional service. Will definitely use them again if needed.Service: TiresService: Tires

I had a blowout on my front passenger side tire on I-96 near Portland. I called Reed and Hoppes who sent the tow truck within 20 minutes. Robert, the driver, was so kind. He asked if I was okay, told me to wait in the cab of his truck to be safe. (Passing semis are intimidating when one is broken down on the expressway.). The cab was air conditioned and surprisingly clean. He brought me to Keush dealership and service garage, checked that they had a replacement tire for me, and had my very reasonable towing bill, $112, incorporated into my tire bill. He was the kindest and most professional young man I have met in quite awhile.Service: Tires

There needs to be an option for zero stars. This place is a joke. My brother was in a wreck Saturday. I called Sunday to get his belongings and was informed only HE could pick them up and that they were open Monday at 9:00am to do so. Got here today (Monday), along with my brother, who was EJECTED from his vehicle and shouldn't be traveling, who also had to travel over TWO HOURS to get here, only to be hung up on and told there is no access today because they have a funeral. They clearly KNEW yesterday when we spoke to them that they had a funeral today. There is an employee sitting next to me as I type this who said because he is new he cannot take us back to the vehicle. This is MADNESS. Worst business practice I have ever seen in my life. I am honestly in shock. I would be gracious about a death in the family had we been notified when we called YESTERDAY and had there not been an employee sitting NEXT TO ME right now. Now my brother has to travel back over two hours without obtaining his medications or belongings.

Had a flat tire and needed assistance putting the donut on my car so i could get it to a tire shop. The servicer showed up fairly quickly but fee was a bit aggressive. $125 to put on a donut?!? There was some miss communication between myself and the service guy as to where we needed to reconnect once he was finished but price gouging is just bad business. He also could have been taking advantage of the situation because he knew i was a female in a desperate situation trying to get home which was quite a long from where the flat occurredThis was for a service call around 7:30ishService: Tires

If I wanted to be belittled and hear a lot of "idk" and "I'm not the secretary of state" I would call my grandmother.But really for people that do this EVERYDAY they sure have little knowledge about getting a car out of impound

Our camper trailer came off the hitch on the busy expressway late on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully, we were able to get the car with trailer to the side of the road. We called Reed and Hoppes. The tow truck arrived within a half hour and the driver (Jon S.) was very helpful, had a calm attitude, and got the trailersafely to the lot. We appreciated the professionalism displayed, and the helpfulness of the office staff. They were also very helpful in getting the trailer home safely the following day.

Thanksgiving 6 pm....after our dinner with family slid into a ditch, passenger side down....first truck arrived. Needed assistance. Second truck within 10 min, these young men looked the situation over,,decided course of action implemented ,, and released equinox professionally from Watery ditch and and owners drove away.They know what they are doing....Thank you boys from Reed andHoppes!

Needed the 5th wheel RV towed when a bearing went bad. They figured out how to get it chained up without damaging anything, towed it to the shop, and were super kind and helpful. Fairly quick service too!

I would recommend this company. I had a tire blow out on 96 last night a round 2am just outside of Portland. Called here and asked if they could take me to the nearest place that could fix it for me first thing in the morning. Driver was every bit knowledgeable and polite. Talkative too for being the middle of the night. He knew exactly where to take me. Dropped me off at a nearby tire place called Keuschs and they were also great. Thanks for making an awful night just a little bit better .

Very good pricing! Got me in right away and worked very hard to complete my broken winch and now works flawlessly. Can't thank them enough. My first time ever going there for anything also.

We ran out of gas on the highway. They came to our rescue quickly (we waited maybe 15min) and the tow truck driver Danny was professional and polite. We are from our of town and he gave us directions to the nearest gas station. Much appreciated.

My vehicle was stolen and this was the tow company used when it was found. I provided all necessary documents to release my vehicle from impound. They did not inform me that vehicle was not drive-able even though I asked multiple times. They moved it outside of the tow yard and when I came to get it, surprise it doesn't move. I called to inform them that my insurance was sending a tow truck in the morning for it and the office woman (the owners family member) threatened to put my car BACK into impound if it was not moved by opening the following morning. Before I could respond she hung up on me. I am literally a victim of circumstance with a long road to financial restitution ahead of me, and all they wanted to do was take advantage and make it a more difficult situation for me. They even LAUGHED at me on the phone. Literally the most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered in any establishment.

They have always had a parts service from the salvage yard they have. Now they have all those vehicles just sitting there. And they will tell you they haven't sold any parts in months. Used to be one of the best and only places to go in the area. Thanks for nothing.

We had a tire blowout today and we aren't from the area. We chose you because of your high ratings. We definitely see that you earn those 5 stars! Thank you for being so helpful and kind during a very stressful time. Your driver arrived quickly and knew exactly what to do. We were back on the road very quickly. You turned around a bad day and allowed us to get our kids home safely. Thanks so very much!

The lady who answered the phone was really rude and not helpful at all and when i went there in person she was just as passive. when they towed my car they didn t tell me anything about what i needed to know to get my car back he just gave me a business card and dropped me off at a near by gas station

Car stopped on the highway and after waiting too long for AAA I called reed and hoppes directly and they were there to help in about 15 minutes. Friendly and professional, highly recommend if you need a tow. Jeremy was awesome

Had my truck quit on me on M66, got ahold of a driver Derek M. He's was quick and professional, veary friendly and polite. Only had a short distance to towe the truck and the final cost was Easley half of what I was expecting it to cost... Veary good professional service. And Derek was awesome to work with.I highly recommend Reed&Hopes for your towing needs in and around the Portland area.----Trent
