Upon calling to schedule an appt, they were able to get my car in immediately. Dropped off after hours using the key box, and next day within 2 hours of the business day starting they called me and described the issues with vehicle. 6 hours later everything I needed to have repaired was done and I was picking my vehicle up by 4:30pm. Great service, and I will be back with any future car needs.

We have taken our vehicles, multiple, to Shaver Road Auto Services for years. We appreciate the fair, honest and knowledgeable mechanics there. It s hard to find a mechanic that is trustworthy. Chris and his team are just that. They stand behind their work! Honest mechanics are hard to find. This is one of them. Great people. Competitive rates. Been using them for about 3 years now. They have handled both small and large jobs for me. Definitely recommend.

My headlights weren t working on my work vehicle. I went to Muffler Man in Portage and the guy was so rude and told me he couldn t look at it today. I saw this business and decided to pull in. The service was so fast, friendly and professional! I was in there less than 3 minutes before they had my hood up.They fixed the problem and the price was very reasonable.I ll recommend anyone to this company!Great job!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Chris and the team at Shaver Road Auto are great. They are courteous, professional, and patient, and I feel like they really care about their customers. I have taken several vehicles to Chris and have always gotten excellent service at a reasonable price. Great service every time I've been in. They give frank and honest consultations and I've never felt like I'm getting upsold or otherwise "taken for a ride." Back in 2020 I was buying a used car and had Chris and the team inspect it before taking it to the dealer's preferred inspector, and their insights saved me what could have been a very large repair bill for something I hadn't noticed. They absolutely get the credit for getting me a good deal out of what could have been an awful first-time buyer experience.

This place is excellent, fair prices, kind staff and mechanics. Never try to charge you for things you don t need. We have had both our vehicles worked on here and never had any issues. They are always honest about what needs to be fixed and what can wait. We highly recommend.

Have been coming to this shop since 2015 or 2016 and never had a bad experience. They are almost always able to get me in next day and don't try to upsell you on stuff. Never had a problem with any of their fixes and everyone is great to deal with. I was having some weird whistle sound from my car but not sure of where it comes. Worried about the safety and took appointment with Shave Road Auto. 1. They had an appointment scheduled for me when most of the Auto services are not available till 1st week of Jan. 2. In spite of fixing the Hub cap (we think that's where the sound comes from lets see). They (Dave and team) also helped me in removing a hanging metal from the car. A little late to the party; I've been taking my car to Shaver Road for 2+ years now. I was happy with the previous management and I am happy with the new management as well. They've always been honest and upfront with me; I always feel comfortable driving my car there whenever I have an issue arise.I've recommended them to every person I know, and will continue to do so in the future.Thank you again guys for the wonderful work :)

Called Chris Monday morning in need of a tune cause the car was very sluggish over 2k RPM. Also had a oil leak. Got in Monday afternoon. Car fixed and ready to go before 5!!! Excellent service, and work!! Very competitive prices. Feels like I found a new mechanic, but hopefully won't have to use often. Thanks Chris for your professionalism

I love this place. Dave has worked on our family cars for what seems like forever. My grandpa oswalt and my dad is the one who got me hooked going here. And now my mom and step dad are also. Amazing people amazing service. Dave is the most honest person I've ever known when it comes to price and working on your vehicle. I hope and pray this place will be around once my own kids start driving so they can go here also with there own vehicles.

I took my car with a light on only to find out it essentially needs a new engine & isn t worth fixing. The employees were stand up people who called me very apologetically & did not charge me even though they ran diagnostics because he didn t want to put salt in the wound . It was the kindest gesture during a tough blow and I ll be back! (But hopefully not too soon!)

I have taken my car here whenever I need major work done. My alternator blew out at 1pm and they had it fixed and back in my hands before 5pm same day. Great, fast service and very reasonable prices. I never feel like I am being cheated or lied to like at the dealership.

I was recommended by a co-worker.Had issues with steering wheel vibrating/wiggly over bumps, potholes or uneven surfaces and accelerated speeds. They diagnosed the problem very quickly and proposed a solution/advice, FREE OF CHARGE!!!Chris and Ken are amazing people, very friendly, and knowledgeable mechanics.This was my first time at the shop, and I have officially made Shaver Road Auto, my auto repair shop.

Update: The owner called me almost right away to apologize profusely for the behavior. He seems like a great guy who cares about making sure customers receive the best service possible. Very admirable.The man on the phone hung up on me. So incredibly rude. I was stressed because I was having problems with my car and was trying to explain my problems and the man interrupted me and then I started to say something and he hung up on me.

They Didn t put any oil in my car after an oil change! Went back 3 times to see why my warning light came on minutes after leaving.. they said it was fine& it was going to over heat if I left, due to a non existent coolant leak..Do not give this dump any business!!Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
