Brian Monroe who is new and helping at the service desk is amazing. Excellent communication and customer service. Came in for an oil change for the first time for my BMW. The coupon I came in with did not work or qualify; however, he still found one and hooked it up. The service was quick and smooth and honestly a good overall experience would recommend

Shawn worked on my car doing extensive break repair/replacement. My appointment was at 4 but work was started at 3:30, and they worked an hour past their closing time to get it done asap for me. They called as soon as it was done (around 7 pm) to see if I was still in the area. So very sweet of them. Their work and kindness is much appreciated.

Called this morning for an oil leak and was instructed to come right in to have it checked out. They had my car up and quoted within the hour of me getting there! Staff is sweet and knowledgeable, Chris showed me under my car as well! They gained a returning customer today with the service they provided!

My husband and I have been going to Midas for years, they always do a great job. The store manager, Chris, is thorough and very kind. He seems like he truly cares about helping people! Brian was also wonderful and a great addition to the shop!

Great experience here! Chris, the guy who greeted me was very polite. I had an appointment at 1 and he told me they probably wouldn t get my car in until closer to 2 (they close at 2 on Saturdays). I told him I was completely ok with rescheduling so that they could leave by 2 but he insisted on getting my car in and getting my oil change and tire rotation done that day! Once my car was in the team did great getting those services done quickly and efficiently! Will definitely be returning for future car services!

I ve gone to the Midas on Westnedge a few times now for oil changes. They re always reliable and communicative about appointments. Chris and Tenisha are friendly and knowledgeable, and I feel they are straight up with me about other things that are going on with my car, and I don t feel like they re trying to pull anything over on me. I like that they do an inspection even if you just get an oil change, and I m okay with that making an appointment take longer because I know I m getting quality service.

They are relatively fair. Always do your due diligence because they have to make money but they are reasonable and will keep things honest to them if you keep your cool. Not as shady as the other auto shops in Portage (Tuffy). And shout out to Chris the manager or owner. He is polite and will do what he can for you.

Great experience! I had an oil change done here and felt the manager was very honest about issues they came across and not pushy to sell extra needed work. Tanaesha did a great job with my car and I was done in one hour. Will be returning.

Had my brakes looked at. They were very informative and after their evaluation, they took me to my vehicle and shown me the problem areas. They game me their recommendations. It was an easy process and they worked with me. Highly recommended!

Brought my car up for brakes and coolant hose repairs in early November. Once the coolant hoses were replaced there was a slight leak from the top hose that was looked at a couple times but the leak couldn t be tracked down. Eventually did a deeper dive and found that the outlet of the top of the radiator was cracked. While it was unclear if the crack formed from the hose replacement or age Midas replaced the radiator free of charge. Through the whole process I was treated with respect and the mechanics and owners all worked with me and didn t try to hide anything.I ll definitely be bringing my car here for more work in the future.

Service desk staff was very rude and it took over 3hrs for an oil change/ tire rotation! I specifically wrote in my notes to them the time my husband needed to be at work. Inspection on my vehicle was done even though I purposely didn't request one because my husband had to work. They made him late to work and therefore took more money out of our pockets. They were extra nice to white customers and discriminated against my husband. After he declined all there money making schemes they took even longer to " be done" and gave the car back making noises that it wasn't before. Worst experience ever! -100 will not go back. Save yourself time and money.

I have been to this location a few times in the past few months. When I speak with the woman I have no issue. But whenever I have to speak with or do business with Chris, the manager I consider never returning. He is condescending and rude. Will walk away as soon as you walk in, and speaks to everyone, including the woman assistant aggressively and degradingly. I have not had an issue with their work or choosing them as a shop outside of the nasty tone and treatment from the manager. From now on I will walk out if the woman isn t there, I can get an oil change anywhere I don t need to be disrespected.

Chris and Vic are the mans! They always take extra time to explain whats wrong with my car and show me what the issue was and what they did to replace the proplems at hand. By far the BEST mechanics in kalamazoo. God bless you guys and your honesty!

Had a 1:30 appointment for an alignment. Didn't take my car back till 2:30. Got it back 20 minutes later with an invoice saying that the tire pressure was adjusted as part of the alignment. Checked my tire sensors and they were all low. One was even 29 psi when the recommendation is 36 per tire. Also missing two of four valve caps. Go somewhere else for car service.

I had a brake inspection done at the Midas on Westnedge in Portage.Chris and Shawn were the individuals who assisted me. My rear brakes had been squealing when driving in reverse & braking. I wasn t able to get my car there until around 2:00pm on a Friday afternoon & they were still able to get my car in and diagnose the issue & resolve the problem that afternoon. These guys both were friendly and honest with me. I will be a returning customer due to the positive experience at this shop.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was pleasantly surprised when expecting bad news and was told they repaired a radiator hose and there was no charge. When does this ever happen. Very pleased with the service.

So I went in a couple weeks ago and got a Diagnostic check to see what was wrong with my car $130ish for the reason of every time I put gas in it struggles to start well I went to my friend's mechanic and he found something interesting...either way you go with this they equal to junk mechanics and the reason is they either failed to tell me and or fix a simple spring that fell out and broke my plastic piece on the cover and left it sitting near where the spring is in the car my car guy said instead of opening it properly they likely took a screwdriver and popped the cover off.... um that's professional? and I'm betting they broke it considering most people would have mentioned stuff being broke beforehand like hey we got under your hood and such was broke...there was none of that so they broke my car more and was gonna charge me closer to $850 to fix everything spent $450 nice people but I'm not there for nice I'm there for I want my car FIXED and safe so good luck if you choose to go to them but I will not $130 to ultimately break it more than it was then $850 fix it all no thank you

This place is awful. I made an appointment for an oil change a week and a half in advance, for an hour long oil change. I don t know why it takes an hour to do an oil change. I showed up, and they had forgotten to put me on the schedule. I waited around 50 minutes to get my oil change, and then inquired what was taking so long. They said it would take another hour and 20 minutes to get my oil change done. This place is awful! Do not take your car here!As a follow up the owner did reach out and apologize for my experience, and offer to make it right. I m editing this review because I don t want to blame the experience I had with 1 or two employees on the whole business..

They were so helpful! I had taken my car to differentlocation to get the muffler fixed and a new pipe. I lost my warranty but they still fixed it anyways!
