They're fantastic, kind, fast and honest. I have been going here for years after a lot of other places tried to scam me. I trust them with everything from my oil changes to major car issues and know they'll take care of me, explain everything and never try to rip me off. They also always quote me and confirm each step before they do the work so I know what's coming my way. If I don't want something I can do myself I've never been argued with or bullied out of it.

I have been taking my car here for years. I always have great experiences at Crossroads. Most recently, there was an issue after my oil change with the oil cap no being sealed properly. Luckily, I noticed the sensor light and called them back the very next day. The staff at Crossroads was very understanding and took care of the issue immediately, including covering a tow truck fee. There was a huge puddle of oil in my driveway. I am very thankful for the guys at Crossroads and how they handled this situation and I am so glad that my engine did not seize! I would recommend Crossroads Auto!

The gentleman there were very kind. They spent extra time explaining to me the issues with my vehicle and all of the options required to rectify these issues.I came to them originally on a referral from a car body shop kitty corner 2 them on lovers lane. I am glad that I did and I would suggest anyone to go there for service.

They did a great job in fixing my car, and also working with my insurance company. I have no complaints at all, I'd recommend crossroads for anyone.

Quick and convenient.I was able to drop my car off for an unscheduled oil change at 8:30am and it was done an hour later. This location is great for me since I work across the street. It's a nice walk over. I've used them for a variety of things for 5+ years and never had anything but great service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Terrible customer service! Dropped by first thing to get my brakes checked. He promised me it would get seen at some point in the day. I called 10 minutes to close and they still didn t see it and promised they would look at it first thing the next day. (I would have went somewhere else if I would know it wouldn t have atleast been looked at)The next day roles around and I call them 2 hours after opening, and they said they haven t looked at that and who would have told you that. Then told me to come pick up the truck because I abused their employees their employees because I questioned why they would tell me one thing and then not do it.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair

I would give them all the stars if possible. My husband was working in Kalamazoo which is an hour away from where we live. His car wouldn't start at lunch. Since we are an hour away we didn't want to tow it all that way to have our normal mechanic look at it. I called a few places but none of them offered both towing and service and all were booked out 2 weeks. Crossroads did both and could look at the car the next day. The Tow truck came at 2:30 and it was fixed by the next day( new starter). A major inconvenience turned minor with their great customer service and fair pricing.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my 2007 Dodge Durango in to Crossroads bc of squeaking in my front end. While they were checking that out they found that my lower ball joints and right tie rod needed replaced. I appreciate the fact that they noticed issues that are very serious, bc if not fixed could cause severe damage to my vehicle. They also recommended that I get the left tie rod replaced for fear of it going bad soon and needing it replaced anyway. I appreciate the forward thinking and not just wanting to fix what I asked, but looking for issues that will keep my vehicle in top running condition as well as safe to drive everyday! Yes, they did fix my front end squeaking! Another thing that is greatly appreciated is the fact that after test driving my vehicle they found it was not pulling either way with the new parts, and recommended that it did not need a front end alignment, which saved me about $100. The honesty is much appreciated! The overall workmanship was excellent. The only thing I would recommend to them is better communication with me (the customer). Give the customer a call letting them know an approximate time of the vehicle being finished, as well as if it is going to need to stay over night. Other than that, I would with out a doubt recommend Crossroads to anyone. Thank you for keeping me safe in my vehicle that I drive everyday!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Rip-Off! My daughter had a check engine light come on while she was at college, she took it to this shop to get a diagnosis and was presented with an estimate for $400; after paying $50 for the diagnosis. This seemed strange to me that $400 is the price to get an evap canister purge valve replaced.I had her bring the truck home and I purchased the part, $62 at the local O'Reilly's, and had it installed in less than 45 minutes, on the cold ground, with no lift, and taking time to lubricate the spare tire cable mechanism. This shop is a blatant rip-off and borderline predatory when they see a young female who just wants her truck fixed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!To be fair, I understand there are labor guides and I do not have one, however, several google searches say the labor for this job is between $50 and $75, which is roughly .5 to .75 hours; maybe slightly more as shops vary. The online result seems reasonable after having just done the job myself. Also assuming the shop marks up the part, which is also common, the part should be around $100. This is a far cry from the $400 total they are trying to charge an 18yo college student.I called the shop twice to discuss the estimate and see if there was a potential misunderstanding, both times the call was not returned. The person that answers the phone says "they are very busy and will have to call you back."If 0 or negative stars was an option I would have gone that route. You might be ok if you are not an 18 yo female college student but to be honest why would anyone support a place with practices like this.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

If I could give zero stars I would. My master drive shaft went out and they told me it was cosmetic and wheel barings. They fixed the wheel barings and I Went to another shop afterwards when they told me it was the drive shaft and was far from cosmetic. I returned my car there for a check engine light and starter issues I asked them to do a full diagnostic which I paid for for them to tell me that they don t look at everything in the vehicle just the starter because that s what s causing the car to not start. Then I had to take it back to another shop to find out why my check engine light was on. Unless you wanna just waste money and keep your car in the shop I suggest you stay far away from this place.

Absolutely horrible!! This place is full of liars and crooks; especially James the owner. Their towing is a rip off and don't count on them telling you the actual day your vehicle will be done. They kept my vehicle an extra day which caused me to pay an extra $146 for a rental car and they wouldn't even discount the repair cost. AND I just gave them $1,200 and my vehicle isn't even fixed. Do NOT take your vehicle to be "repaired" by these greedy crooks!!!!

My car died in the Meijer parking lot and Graham s towing took my car here. Within 24 hours they had my car working again and did an oil change and had it ready for me to pick up for a reasonable-enough cost. It wasn t the most glamorous of locations but they did their job and they did it well. I was nervous with all the negative reviews on here but I had no issue whatsoever. All-in-all my bill was $120 for labor, parts for my specific repair, oil change, and tax. I had no issues with any rude employees as some of the other reviews stated - everyone was friendly and laid back. All my stuff was still in my car when I picked it up and it works great.

Cheap quick oil change. Nothing else. No idea if grease fittings were done or anything. Leakes? Filters? No clue. Just a quick no questions asked oil change. "Update" July 2018. I asked how long for an oil change they didn't say anything but took my keys. 1 hour later got sick of waiting and asked for my keys. When a couple employees were snickering and laughing about something as one of them was making it obvious that his co-worker was out of line. I just got my keys and left. I'll gladly pay an extra $20 elsewhere. Get it done in 15 minutes and be treated with dignity and respect. I will not be back.

We were out running errands when something in our van let go. Being it was on the weekend we had to have it towed. We chose Crossroads because they had worked on our van this past summer in a very timely manor. This time however was not the same. I get that our vehicle is old but if you aren't 100% confident in partaking a job as detailed as ours then maybe you shouldn't say yes to the job? And if you aren't 100% sure how long the job would take you deffinetly shouldn't tell someone a certain time frame if you don't know. With that being said, the owner himself told us our van would be done on Monday. I said ok being as im not a mechanic myself three days seemed ok. I didn't hear anything over those three days. So I took it upon myself to call. Mind you we've had to shell out for a rental car exactly a week only to find out it was going to be another day. Again I don't hear anything. But a text comes thru telling me the job would be $86 more. To me it would seem logical to tell the owner of the vehicle there was going to be more labor charges rather than just go ahead and finish the job. But when I brought this to the owners attention he basically told me I should be thankful he fixed my vehicle when it should of been in the junk yard. This to me seemed very unprofessional. With the way he has talked to my boyfriend and myself we will deffinetly not be returning here for any jobs in the future.Service: Steering & suspension repair

This was the first time I had ever been to this place, I will definitely be going to them from now on for all of my vehicle maintenance! They were super friendly, right from the start and started working on my car immediately. They were able to figure out what was wrong, fix it and have my car back to me the very next day. Their prices are also more than reasonable. Thank you so much, guys!

Worst service and most unprofessional service ever. They forgot to put the radiator cap on after doing oil change and checking fluids. Fluid went all over and car died on Westnedge. They wouldn't refund my money and they refused to give me the owners information to call a complaint in. The manager Garret was rude and swore at me on the phone and then proceeded to hang up on me. They do shady business and the employees are very rude and unprofessional. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and anyone else that I possibly can. Don't ever go there unless you want to be treated terrible and given bad service.

Great auto repair shop! Had to have my radiator replaced because the shady guy I bought the car from put leak stop in it just before we bought it. They were quick to get it diagnosed and repaired. We brought it home and it leaked massive coolant all over our driveway so we brought it back. Crossroads spent 4 hours running the car and driving it to try and replicate the issue and even gave it an oil change for free. The issue was chalked up to an air bubble and no big deal. We are good to go and crossroads went the extra mile!

I had a noise in one of the wheels but could not tell which one and it only lasted for a short time each day when I first drove the car. After I took it in to Crossroads they said they could not hear anything, so they looked and checked all that they could on all four. When I picked it up, they did not charge me anything. You have heard that time is money but I guess at Crossroads it is also good customer service. I knew there was a reason I keep going back to have work done.

STOP. READ THIS.My pregnant wife was driving her car home after having the winter tires swapped for our summer tires. The wheel flew off our car 3 miles down the road!!! Luckily my wife was driving 5 mph in front of our driveway otherwise they would have KILLED her!!! These guys don t know what they are doing. Be warned!! Cheap prices for CHEAP work!!! Don t trust these guys!! They said they would only cover body damage on our car!! They wouldn t cover anything mechanically wrong unless they performed the work themselves with cheap parts!! Don t trust these guys!! Garbage service. Be careful!!! And they won t pay for anyone to inspect their work! Zero credibility.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! If I could give zero stars I would. Took my 2014 Nissan Altima in for service and they replaced two sensors. Received the car back worse than it was taken in, with a loud knocking sound. Took it back to Crossroads and was told nothing they can do, take it to dealer. Dealer put in their report that Crossroads was missing several major bolts to my ENGINE, so therefore my engine was just bouncing around. Took the report back to Crossroads to ask them to pay the $130 diagnostic fee to Nissan, and didn't even ask for the $360 I spent at Crossroads back. Told me they'd cover it. Then hours later called and said good luck because we're not helping. Thankfully my bank worked it out with us, because Nissan backed us up on the errors being Crossroads fault.

Took an hour just for oil and filter. Tried to say things were wrong with the car that wasnt. Yes I know for a fact. I've worked on cars all my life and I am certified. Overheard them on the phone tell a customer how much something would cost( it was double of what it should have been.) My health is bad and I'm looking for a shop that my wife could go to when I'm gone.....it wont be here

As a female is hard to find a good auto place. I would recommend this company to everyone. They were very professional with the towing and vehicle repairs. They diagnosed, called me with the diagnose, fixed and returned my vehicle in a very timely manner.Service: BatteryService: Battery

I called 21st Century insurance this morning saying I needed my Jeep towed. 21st Century contacted Crossroads Towing on Lover's Lane in Portage Michigan and authorized the pickup and towing and that I would need to drive back to the vehicle (20miles one way and at least a 30 minute drive) and arrange to meet the towing company. Later I received a call from a young man at Crossroads Towing asking if I was with the vehicle. Like I told 21st Century, I told him I was at home since the Jeep's new radiator blew a hose last Friday and Kelly Radiator didn't want the vehicle left there over the weekend. He said I needed contact 21st Century and cancel the pickup because they could not arrange to meet customers with advance notices and I should call them back once I'm at the vehicle. 2 phone calls later I spoke with a young lady at Crossroads after calling 21st back, she let me know I could also just drop off the keys at Crossroads on Lover's Lane, which sounded fine. So I drove 13 miles to drop off the keys. The young man behind the counter showed no interest and said I would have to call 21st Century back again and have them re-approve the pickup or pay cash and settle up with the insurance company later. I asked if he could just call 21st Century back and was told no they couldn't. So I went outside and called 21st back. After waiting 25 minutes things were finally back on track with 21st Century because yet they didn't understand why Crossroads just didn't pick-up the Jeep since it as already authorized. When I went back in, another person (older man this time) came up and asked if he could help. Seemed cheerful enough and seemed to love everyone's attention, so I explained the situation. He responded by saying everything I told him was Greek to him and he didn't understand anything I said. Then he said something about him just being a service writer and I responded by saying "I'm a customer" and just want my vehicle towed to Kelly Radiator. He then said I needed to go outside and around the side of the business because his office is not Grahams Crossroads Towing. it's Crossroads. I asked for my keys back then he pointed outside again saying I needed to go outside and around the building and get the keys, but I say the keys sitting next to his left hand on the counter in front of him so I pointed and the first young man I had spoken with, still on the phone with someone else, handed the keys over the counter. So I left. And NOTHING more was said. Now I hear from 21st Century that Crossroads/Grahams told them I came in to their office yelling (which never happened) and they (Crossroads Towing) would not do business me, even though I had already taken my keys and left over 15 minutes prior to their call. So they lied about what took place and made no effort to simply pickup the vehicle. This company is as bad as it gets. If you can't depend on a towing company to pickup a vehicle when authorized and you can't depend on what they said, I do yourself a favor, don't use their service.

drove a truck in had to tow it back said it was fine when i left $400 $100.I brought my truck in to see what the problem was they told me it would need a oil fill hose and a vacum hose. Two days before they did the work they told me it need antifreeze their was none in the radiator. I told them I would do that. The day I came to pick up the truck they said everything was fine it was ready to go. I spoke to the owner to ask why the truck was not starting right i thought it was the battery. He checked it and said it was fine that the sarter might be going out and I need to let the truck run for 30 min. to see if it would charge the battery. I did that and the truck over heated. after spending $400 they told me they would tow the truck for free. they still charged me. they charged me. so I end up paying them $500 dollars to not fix my truck. I drove in to get my truck fixed but i had to get it towed out.

This has been the best place I have found for an oil change. They are very personable, they never over charge and their CLEAN. If they think you need more they let you know before they do anything and they leave your steering wheel clean also Would very highly recommend them

We took our car to Crossroad for our air conditioning. It was not working. We asked for it to be fixed and they said they will fix it for x amount. We said ok and paid. We left and the air conditioning did not blow cool air. We went back and told them the air conditioning is not working. They said you paid for the air blowers to work, not for the cooling system. This was so sneaky of them. Do you really think we wanted you to fix half of the problem? Horrible employees who to be manipulative to get work.
