Needed work done, they were very responsive and quick to work on my vehicle. They kept me updated on the process along the way and were super friendly. Front office staff and estimator Brent were absolutely lovely. If I need similar car repair I will definetly be back. I appreciate their help in getting me back up and running.

Review based solely on office staff, and not workmanship or quality of product. 3 attempts to get estimates were mishandled, without an apology, and the woman lied to me when I arrived. Taking business elsewhere.

This place is ridiculous! I had a appointment at 1 today, I have a newborn and forgot. When I called at 1:30 and ask if I could still come, they said NO. Like wow. I guess my mirror will continue to be broken. Way to go earning a new client.

Late on completion,held my vehicle because of a change order that should have been put in two weeks prior, the change order included parts that were on the original estimate plus painting of my door that had no damage from the deer that landed in my grill. Do not go here.

Honestly don t understand how this place is so well reviewed. I tried to have a simple taillight casing replaced two years ago, and they never got back to me. I called consistently, the technician would never call back, and the receptionist said the parts were hard to find, meanwhile I could find the parts on eBay (I fully agreed to aftermarket parts, I just wanted it done, didn t care if Honda made the parts or not), the dealership said they could fix it in a week. Finally refilled the claim, literally went today, guy ordered the part and it s getting installed tomorrow. Why couldn t Autobody USA do it that way?Edit: I got a response, but to no great surprise, still haven t been contacted by Arick. Please be accountable Autobody USA, I came to you once when a tree crushed my car, but it feels like the tail light casing was beneath your services with how I was treated by both your receptionist and your technician. Especially when another shop handled with in 48 hours of refilling my claim. I will never use Autobody USA again because of this incident. Why would I?

This review has been long overdue. For starters, I am very meticulous and somewhat skeptical of having others work on my car. I have a black car, which can easily show any flaws and is typically one of the most difficult colors to match/blend and all I wanted at the time was my front bumper repainted. My car is a bit older and quality parts for it are hard to come by so I had brought Autobody USA some front kidney grilles to paint match just so I could see the quality of their work. Now these were a difficult part to paint, and I was aware of that, and even on top of me being extra critical they nailed it! The color match was basically perfect and there wasn t any dust nibs or orange peeling. Needless to say I asked for a quote and then came to them two days later with my front bumper. After about a week I returned to pick my bumper up and it was in mint condition! It looked better than new. It s been 2 years now since I received this service and the parts they painted for me are still flawless. They also use a high quality clear coat and they clearly have a veteran paint tech. I worked directly with Jessica during the entire process and her customer service along with her communication was great, she handled me and all my extra needs very well, which I assure you is no easy task lol. I will continue to have work done here when necessary and I would recommend Autobody USA on Shaver road to anyone!Service: Painting

The body work they did was absolutely beautiful, looks brand new, but the office ladies were very difficult. From the get go they treated me like I was stupid, I kept trying to explain to them that my insurance company had already paid me so I would paying out of pocket. I must have explained that till I was blue in the face and they would not listen. Then when I went to pick up the car they STILL thought the insurance was paying so I had to explain many more times until they finally understood. It would have been much easier if the two ladies had just listened to me but they were so sure I was wrong they wouldn t even open up their minds to listen. I had to drop the car off again because one of the parts was on back order so I did a night drop and left them the key. The next day when I called they had no idea what I was talking about or who I was (they knew I was coming, I called ahead). She kept insisting they didn t have my car and I told her that was impossible as I had parked it there the night before. She put me on hold and came back to tell me the car was ready. Long story short, great body work, poor customer service. I won t be returning.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Excellent! they were very helpful and kind. Our vehicle was rear ended and they worked with us to find a time to fix it and fit in with our schedule. We have 3 small children so dropping off the vehicle and picking it up was going to be rough so they even brought our vehicle to our home and dropped it off. It came back repaired and cleaned inside and out! Really impressed with their professionalism and kindness.

I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their car repaired. Great people work there and fantastic customer service, they were able to get my car fixed within a week. They totally went above and beyond to help move the claim from the insurance company I had quicker so I could get my car in the shop faster. They were even nice enough to power wash the carpet mats in the car (it was in the winter and I have a dirt/gravel driveway, so they were pretty dirty) and when they cleaned the car they even cleaned hub caps (driving on Michigan roads really do a number on those). If you are trying to find a great collision shop in town, this is the place to go to.

Took the car in for a rear end my wife was in 2 years ago. Was promised to have other stuff painted on the car since it was needing paint, showed up, never done. 2 years later we go through the car wash and the back panel peices flew off. Come to find out they were glued back on the car! Instead of buying new parts for $100, they literally glues the panels on because the clips on the plastic broke. Had to buy it myself and fix it myself. Beware!!!!!Service: Body & Trim

Jason and the team at Autobody USA are top notch. Their customer communication is great and they always took the time to explain what was going on through the process. Jason s work with our insurance company helped insured we were appropriately restored to pre-loss condition.

Just picked up my car from Autobody USA on Shaver Rd. In Portage and I couldn t be more pleased with the results. From the time I walked into the office and was met by a really pleasant person who set up my estimate. I then met Jason Cosby who did the estimate. He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and how long it would take. I did not meet the people in the body shop but they really know what they re doing. They even took time to vacuum my car and sanitize it. If you need body work done Autobody USA is the place to go for professional and honest work Terry van

I've come to them for 2 seperate repairs after accidents and the service has been absolutely great! They're a USAA preferred shop and they handle all of the communication back and forth with progress and rental coverage, etc. Everyone I've spoken with has been super helpful, friendly, and has done everything they can to take the worry of a repair off my shoulders while I focus on my crazy family and work schedule. Best shop in town!

We choose this location over others that had told us there would be a delay just to find out they are going to take longer. When we called today to check on the status, as it has been sitting there for over a month now, and they told us there are 10 toys in front of us. This is a primary vehicle for school and work and this is unacceptable! If you guys would have been up front we would have not taken our car there. I will be filling a complaint with State Farm and surely not recommending your business in the future if this is not rectified.Service: Body & Trim

First off Jason did a amazing job on updating me weekly during the process of fixing my bmw x4M after sadly hitting a deer. I highly recommend the portage location they did a amazing job on my car! Can t even tell which panels got painted and which are factory. Almost everything was replaced with OEM parts. Jason even sent my car to bmw to get the suspension checked and a alignment. Turned a very stressful situation into a easy process and made sure to let me know everything they found and fixed. Will recommend this shop to all my friends. Amazing work auto body USA!!

Can't say enough good about my experience with Autobody USA, Portage. Theirs was the lowest estimate for the work, after checking out 3 other places--one of which was over $100 more! The work was well done, and they even noticed and fixed a bent/unclipped fender which had nothing to do with the estimate or work the car was there for! The office staff are thoughtful (offer of cold bottled water on a hot day while getting the estimate) and efficient! Thanks, Jim, Debi, Kerry and everyone!

I managed to Destroy a deer on the highway. They repaired my truck while communicating through the whole process and in a timely manner. Quality work and even cleaned my truck internally. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this repair shop to any and everyone! My wife and I bought a car on a Thursday, didn't have it for more than 24 hours and then hit a deer with it. The front bumper was trashed, headlight blown out, passenger side quarter-panel mangled, etc. I took it to Autobody USA southside (my insurance company recommended them since they dealt directly with AbUSA) and they had me sign some forms and I was off to work within 15 minutes. Since it's Michigan and they are always busy with repairs they asked me in order to get it fixed quicker if they could take it to Autobody USA Three Rivers... Fine with me. I gave them my signature to do so and that was that.Throughout the repair process they updated me with nearly daily txt messages, emails, and telephone calls. 8 business days later they called me and told me it was ready to pick up. When I came to pick it up it had been detailed, washed, and backed in to their front parking spot, looking very clean and like-new.When I took it home I noticed some steam/smoke coming out from under the hood and I thought, uh-oh. It looked to be coming from off the back of the radiator (mind you it did not over heat and no warning lights came on) so I called them. They told me their detail shop usually sprays out the engine compartment just to get any residue that was left by the repairs but they said to keep an eye on it. When I woke up the next day I noticed a poker chip-sized green dot on the concrete - antifreeze, UH-oh. I called them back and they had me bring it in. When I pulled in, Rick from Three Rivers came right out and pulled it around back to check it out.They checked all the radiator lines and deduced that the radiator had "burped" or they spilled some when they were filling. And since my vehicle has a lot of plastic underneath it it pooled a small amount and dripped when I got home. So they cleaned out the pooled area and told me to keep an eye on it.Later that day, Rick from Three Rivers drove to my house unexpectedly and asked about the car and handed me $50 gas gift card and told me that it was for my inconvenience. How's that for customer service?That weekend we drove the car (2009 Honda Pilot) 400 miles to the east side of Michigan and back. Not a single issue arose and it functioned outstandingly.We are really pleased with our experience from Autobody USA!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Do not use this Autobody shop. Held me liable for fees to diagnose a problem then they said it wasn't cause by the accident. They don't care about anything mechanically. Nice had two cars repaired here and will never go back. Just a terrible business practice. Find another body shop

Jason took pictures of my car for an estiment and then never did it. Never returned my calls or anything. Still waiting to hear. Had to set up an appointment with someone else for an estiment after waiting almost a week with no information.
