Rick's AMT LLC has been the best medical transportation agency I've used. The office personnel are kind and prompt for scheduling & confirming rides. The drivers are on time, their vehicles are clean and equipped for my needs. I reach my appointments on time and my return trips are equally timely. Thanks to Rick's, I make it to my medical appointments safe and sound! I highly recommend their service!

Completing this review on my father s behalf an elderly dialysis patient. He tells me he loves riding in the black suburban. The driver keith makes him feel like he is somebody, allowing him to sit in the front and speaking to him respectful. I noticed the change in his demeanor when Keith calls to confirm his pick up time. He is at ease knowing he will be comfortable, safe and on time. Says he reminds him of himself. Thanks Keith you are appreciated.

I've been driving for Ricks for 8 months and it's been a pleasure. The people in the office are very friendly and willing to work around almost anything. I've seen them, and the owner go up and above for our clients, it's nice to see they care. I've heard from many clients we are the best transportation service they have used! It's great to be part of their team!

Great company to volunteer drive for! Great bunch of folks that support the drivers. Top to bottom, Ricks cares about it's members and works tirelessly to provide this awesome service to people who are unable to drive themselves to their important appointments.

I'm Sam Johnson Bey I ride with Rick's transportation and I like all of my drivers they pick me up in a timely manner and they wait patiently for me I'm older and I thank them. With that being said Keith sent me that app I downloaded it and he's an excellent driver and I like his conversation and his vehicle is nice and roomy

I have been getting rides from Rick's twice a week and have had no problems with them. The drivers I have been getting are very nice and responsible, getting me to my appointments on time every time. They are a Godsend since I have no other way to make it to all my appointments and I am thankful for them.

I have been riding with ricks everyday for 8yrs my driver is always on time and make sure I get picked up and to my appointment on time.The ladies and gentlemen in the office go out of the way to make sure I am satisfied with my rides they are like my family I have been riding with them for so long.they are a big part of my recovery and I am very grateful to be they're client.my driver ronnie is awesome . thank you all for everything you do for me

You have the same driver to and from your appointment. The drivers always go above and beyond to ensure a good experience.

I have been riding with them for about 6 months and have nothing but great things to say. They always arrive on time and even give me a courtesy call the day prior. The vehicels are also very clean and newer, which is an added bonus. I have to give a special shoutout to my driver, Mihail-Micheal, as he does an amazing job! Thank you guys for all that you do.

My son and I have been clients with Rick's for several years, given as that my son has autism therapy related appointments Monday through Friday.There's always been hiccups along the way, sometimes these things were not the fault of Rick's, to be fair, but mishaps occurred due to MTM whom they are contracted through.Due to the diligence and kindness of several of their drivers in the past, I've had drivers step to accommodate our rides due to them knowing how vulnerable our situation is and having literally no one else to help us with these daily trips.The kindness and humanity of the drivers doesn't seem to extend to certain employees that handle dispatch, though.I have been fortunate enough to have a driver that had left working for Rick's return to working for them under the SPECIFIC PRETENSE THAT SHE WOULD ONLY BE ABLE TO HELP ME. Due to her own personal situation, helping me with rides was all she was able to handle. This was approved and fine for over 6 months. Until today. In which out of the blue ( at least to me, and the driver mentioned) dispatch has decided that logistically it makes more sense to burden ONE DRIVER with ALL the rides in my area. This makes absolutely no sense to overload one driver when there is another driver WILLING AND ABLE to accommodate one of those trips. I called and politely explained the situation ( again...and again..) in regards to the fact my child is low function autistic and struggles with change. He has grown comfortable with the car and driver I have had. Also, a new car presents saftey issues because my child struggles with staying seated in new cars. He wants to explore while the car is moving. I have just FINALLY gotten him to stay safely and properly seated and belted in. I explained how inconvenient this was assigning us a new, strange driver and they essentially implied "yeah...too bad. This is what we want to do, regardless of your comfort. "Then they fired my driver.There is literally no reason for them to have done this other than to somehow benefit the business, maybe cost saving? I don't know. But the absence of humanity and compassion in this situation is stunningly disappointing.5 stars for the drivers.Shame on you, dispatch. Where is your compassion for now having put a mentally disabled child into a potentially dangerous situation due to having to adapt to a new car/driver?I don't let people I don't know transport us because of this very real and concerning issue. We are very limited on how we can get around. Public transportation also is not an option.Unbelievable.

Arrival of transport was at 8:14 AM, scheduled at 7:40 AM. Was told they changed the time, gave me no notice.When she arrived I was told I would not get there on time. Did I want to reschedule? I said no. I called and requested a grace period. This office is a speciality clinic and runs on an exact schedule. You are not there ON TIME you are out of luck. I explained my delay and asked for leniency. They granted me an extension.The company stated they could not understand why so many people call and get so irate Hummmm I wonder why! Called to request North Star next time.

Was not picked up. Called the driver and he said he was still in bed and over slept. I had to reschedule my procedure and also missed work for this appointment. Not satisfied. Had to schedule this in advance and then the company did not meet my needs.Update: I was contacted as soon as the business opened this morning and they were able to provide transportation later today. I initially gave them a one star but have changed my rating to a four star for their fast customer service in resolving this issue. Thank you Ricks AMT and I look forward to my transportation this afternoon.

Rick's transportation is a reliable transportation as a business they take pride and having a good fleet of vehicles and their drivers are professional helpful and understanding. Please understand you have options in looking for non-emergency medical rides but when you stop and get Rick's Transportation a chance you won't go anywhere else thank you

I just called for my mother who suffers mental health challenges. Everyone was extremely rude from the initial receptionist to the supervisor. I was simply asking for clarification as to why her ride didn t show. I even lamented that I was ONLY trying to gain clarity and believe they didn t have her on their role. The supervisor got on the phone who was clearly a white lady from the racist energy she gave off. As if we were beneath her. Nothing will happen because this is Society but I thought you all should know. Very disappointing members of the mental health community are being treated like this.

I feel this company went above and beyond with the service they provided me with. I deal with extreme anxiety however my driver made me feel very comfortable. Thank you Rick's and their amazing driver Scooter Scott.

Had a driver pick up my 14 year old daughter who is a cancer patient for transport today 12/26/2023. The driver showed up with her own personal passenger with her which isn't a big deal but what really upset me is they had all of the windows down trying to air it out because they had been smoking in the vehicle. You are picking people up that you have no idea what their medical situation is so for me this is just totally unprofessional.

For Jackson, MI office 5 My Daughter and I have been riding with Ricks Transportation through Meridian Medicaid for awhile now and have been very happy with ALL of our drivers to include; Michael , Sandra and Keni along with the office staff, to include; John Of course we have our favorites but they have ALL been very friendly and helpful Now EVERYTIME that I call to schedule a ride for an appointment with Meridian Transportation, I ask them (specifically), to assign us with Ricks, even though we are NOT given preferences through our insurance at this time

I have been driving for Ricks for almost 11 years and my experience with the office girls is tremendous, but the one that stands out the most is Tara. Like me, she is a very big Lions fan. Laura was very friendly and I had a great ride experience. We just chit chatted during the ride and time seemed to pass by quickly. I highly recommend her to you
