Best place to go if you're having any frame issues. Clyde's stands behind their work. Years of experience in every frame issue you can imagine I'm sure. Clydes restored our 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon's rusted out frame.Keep up the great work!

They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We've taken my son's and mom's jeeps there for service. Fair prices and won't do it if you don't need it.

Great job on the alignment of my lifted truck! This was the initial alignment after the lift so it was out a country mile! They meticulously adjusted and drove it after each adjustment. It was time consuming but they got it right! I will be having Clydes mount and balance my new tires soon.

Extraordinary customer service combined with skillful mechanics made fixing my car a pleasant experience. Hope I don t need their help again but if I do, I ll happily return to Clyde s.

I chose Clydes because they have frame repair in their name. I recommend you tell them you need the work to be finished earlier than when you really do, because based on my experience (and other reviewers) they will kick the can down the road while taking on more clients. In my case, they found a new issue the day of the deadline. They needed another week to wait for part and install. My vacation had to be cancelled. They charged me over $4000 for repairing 2-4 feet of steel on my truck, and did partial work on some key brackets connecting the frame to the body, leading to failure less than a month later and requiring more work (elsewhere).

I purchased a lift kit and sumo springs for my travel trailer and I took My travel trailer to Clyde's get them installed. They noticed that my axle was bent and that my springs were flat they knew I was going on a trip and they did everything to get me on the road and taken care of. You can't ask for better service. If you need any kind of work done on your travel trailer they are top-notch.

Sadly, the entire experience felt like a bait and switch. When I initially spoke with your shop, I was told that you were not busy and to bring the car in. After dropping off my vehicle, I was told each time I called that it should get looked at that day if not the following. 3 days later and multiple calls, it still haven't been looked at. You should be upfront with customers right at the beginning instead of leading them on and just holding onto their vehicle. Your shop has lost my business.

The service manager told me my trailer would be looked at Thursday if that week. Called Thursday, Friday and Monday. Finally looked at it Monday. They gave me a quote for replacing bearings and seals on the 4 wheels. Over $900. Hitch house did it $300!!! Trying to rob people. Sad

If you do not take your vehicle to this Clyde's, you are missing out. They are very fair priced and truly know everything. I am the activities director for senior living which includes driving the bus. Our bus needed repairs and they understood how important it was to get our seniors back out on the road. We have referred all our communities to take their buses to be serviced by Clyde's. They Rock!!

Best service around! I gladly drive an hour to take my stuff here. Don't waist your time taking your vehicle anywhere else. I've also had no issues with my big Tex trailer I purchased here. I highly recommend Clyde's for all the services they provide.

Going to keep it simple. Whent there for work need. The price come to $2,500. I used to work in a collision shop so I new right away I was getting the run around. Took it to another shop. Price ended up only costing $800. No parts was needed. It was all labor.

The service manager was very professional and accommodating. I bought a new Big Tex trailer from another dealer and when I realized it had a manufacturer defect, that dealer couldn't/didn't fix it. Clyde's fixed it, even though I didn't buy the trailer from them at no charge to me (it was covered by warranty). I'll purchase my next trailer from Clydes.

I received a quick return call from Rob explaining how it may not be a major repair, and a high cost. That s a big plus in my 40 years of working with mechanics. I trust Clydes, I have a truck headed there soon. Wouldn t go anywhere else.Service: Transmission repairService: Transmission repair

my trailer is an odd ball trailer. took it to my old source(the guy i originally bought if from) and was referred to these guys as the others were too busy to help me or could not get their hands on the parts. dropped it off, had it wrapped up in 3 days. cannot express how thankful i am for them...great service. and now i can drag my boat up north for some fishing:) thanks Clydes

I had a great experience. Shame on me for not taking the time to inspect my trailer wheels and find that there's a simple cap to pop off exposing a grease fitting. That I know how to do. But I assumed the wheels were sealed and would require removal for lubrication as my pop-up does.So I took the trailer to Clydes... they got it in the shop later the same day and called to tell me what I missed. Without the fun they could have had exposing my error. And without charging for what turned out to be a ten minute job. I'm not sure which made me happier, but both deserve thanks for integrity, professionalism and consideration for the customer.

Great experience dealing with the staff at Clyde's. They were kind enough to email me pics of a trailer I was searching for, so that I didn't have to make the drive if I didn't like it. Needless to say, the trailer was more than I had hoped for with upgraded wheels and on Sale to top it off. What a difference it makes dealing with Professionals unlike Shores Trailer on Gratiot in Clinton township. I will gladly drive the hour to get to Clyde's vs the 5 minutes to Shores Trailer. Thank you Clyde's, I love my trailer!

The worst experience i have ever had. My wife brings in my new truck with a new lift kit installed and they try to gouge her on the price of an alignment. When they finally did the alignment they set it so far out of spec it damaged my inner wheel well and wheel flairs. I asked why they set the alignment so far out they told me that it had to be that way. i guess they did not know i had already had it aligned and it only need the steering wheel straightened out. I sent it to them because i was told thy did good work and they happened to be closer than the original place i went to. I made them put it back to center. I drove home and it drove just fine. I check out what damage they did. One of my flairs is broke. They stripped all of my adjuster cams, so i now have to buy new ones in order to have it aligned again. This place is a joke. It makes me angry how these places can still be in business screwing people over all of the time. They wonder why people avoid them. Take pride in what you do and stop screwing people to try and squeeze more money out of them.By the way the caster is 4 degrees +- 1 degree not 2 degrees

Great people. First time here. Got my trailer in right away, another dealer could not do that. Servicev was fairly quick (I did not press for extreme speed). They found and corrected the issue with my trailer. Clearly they have lots of experience. Recommended.

I took my truck there for a simple alignment, they said it would be done at the end of the day. When I went to pick it up they told me it needed 1000 dollars worth of parts and the bolts were frozen. I told them no, on the phone they told me it would be 200 dollars. They also said the bolts were frozen and it needed all new bushings. I took it home.I'm a professional mechanic myself, and when I went home I was able to loosen the bolts by hand! They totally lied to me, and tried to steal 1000 dollars from me. I would stay away from these unethical crooks.

I took my BMW X3 in to them to repair some suspension damage. I had already taken it to 2 different shops and they could not tell me what was wrong. Clyde's told me exactly what parts were damaged. They worked with me to help find used parts within my budget. They reduced my price to only replace the parts adn complete the service that I wanted. Dave did a great good working out a price with me, and Todd did a good job on the repair. Even though they have limited experience on European cars, they did a great job on the repair. I highly recommend them!

I purchase my zero turn 2nd hand after it was used 3 times from a 3rd party. The mower was originally purchased from Clyde s (BigDog C-140 zero turn). Sever years later and last summer it was in the middle of cutting when it died on me in the yard. I called them as the sticker was still on the mower and arranged to have them pick it up and check it out. The only negative aspect was that I had to call back a few times in order to schedule the pickup. When the pickup date was finalized they called me when they were on their way so I could leave work. I don t recall the guys name but he was very courteous and prompt. They called me back very quickly to identify the issue and it was rapidly fixed and returned. Price was a shade hi but the service was top notch and as the tech told me, it s running like a top. Definitely recommend these guys for service and I ll be calling Monday for a replacement part I need.

I recently had my car in for a significant frame repair I was treated respectfully and professionally. Bob thoroughly explained the problem that I was having in the diagnosis was accurate. The costs were more than reasonable and the work was completed on time and to my satisfaction I highly recommend this establishment.

I had a drive shaft for a transfer case replacement project balanced and the u-joint replaced at Clyde's. It wasn't inexpensive, but they did a great job and it was a pretty fast turnaround. Very happy with the results.

I can t give these guys enough praise. I wouldn t have thought to take a classic muscle car to Clyde s Frame, but I saw some of the work they had done on some other old cars and gave them a try. Bob was very engaged and kept me in the loop on all work and issues they came across. He always called to explain and suggest the appropriate and correct solution. He also invited me to stop in and show me anything I wanted to see. We quickly got to the point where I told him to keep moving forward and just let me know when it s done. I trusted their judgement. I finally got to pick the car up today and they absolutely nailed it. The stance is perfect and the quality of their work is top notch and all issue are resolved correctly. While I was picking it up, I got to chat with the tech that did the work. Not only was he proud to show off his handywork, but he also showed me some of his other projects. You can tell it s a labor of love with these guys and if you need just about anything done to your car or truck, these guys can handle it and do it right.

I took my truck to Clyde's for a frame issue that the dealership said couldn't be fixed. Clyde's fixed it fast and for a reasonable price. One of the guys even removed my hitch bar that was seized into the receiver for me and they didn't charge me. Everyone from this area knows Clyde's is the best game in town.

I went to Clydes on 7-13-18 to get a rusted on ball hitch mount removed From my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. Did a fast and excellent job! Thanks Clydes! They were also friendly and helpful getting me to work while I dropped it off for only a couple of hours, then it was done!
