First time taking my van to a shop since owning. It was leaking oil and coolant. They were able to get me in the very next day. Power Automotive knew exactly what was wrong and even had the parts on the shelf. They got me back on the road quickly and at a fair price. I highly recommend!! Thank you for such a quick turn around.

I didn't talk to the owner of this place but I dealt with one of the mechanics there he told me that he would fix my vehicle and it would be running better than it ever has been. He then put a bunch of parts on the truck without finding the problem on purpose to nickle and dime me to where I would get sick of it so he could buy my truck for a low offer and then he lied to me saying he was fired and that my truck was going to get impounded and then he offered to drive behind me so that if I broke down he was there. It broke down and he left me and my children stranded to make me give up and abandon my truck so he could steal it. I am sure there is other mechanics that work there that are good but one crooked mechanic named Frank Dunham should be avoided at all cost. I will add to this review after a shop examination of the previous work is done and I have it at a licensed shop and they are doing a full inspection and documenting any and all sabotage that was done to my truck. I don't know if it's true or not but Frank said he passed out at work from exhaust fumes so I don't know if the vent system is even safe for employees and I am deeply concerned.

Power Automotive provides great service at a fair price.We travel to Plainwell often and have older cars. If something goes wrong on the way to Plainwell we have always struggled with where to go for service. I am so glad we found Power Automotive.This time it was brakes. Power Automotive got us in right away and would have had everything fixed that day but some parts arrived late - not their fault. I think they would have worked past closing if we had asked but we were leaving the next day anyway so they kept the car overnight..They had everything done first thing the next morning and their total cost matched the estimate to the penny. The folks were all pleasant and professional.I'm glad I found a reliable mechanic for our future trips to Plainwell.

Allen is great to work with!! Him and his whole crew took care of my chrysler really well and even worked with my repair coverage insurance even though it usually is a hassle to deal with. parts took a few weeks to come in but i knew that was out of his control in the first place. thanks allen for helping me get back on the road safely!!! highly recommend!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Very close to my house! During an oil change everything was a checked and a serious problem discovered and repaired with my consent. Worn parts were shown to me without my asking to see them.

Complete scam of a company. Spent over $17,000 to have 3 trucks repaired and all of them are doing exactly what they were when we brought them in to be fixed. The owner Allen is extremely unprofessional. Stay far far away.

My truck broke down about 3 days after buying it, and it wasn't good news. They figured out pretty quick that it was the injection pump, and that the repair would cost more than the truck cost. They said it would be no charge for the work they had in It and apologized for the bad news. Even though they didn't do any work on it the professionalism was great and I appreciate what they were able to do.Service: Engine repair

I drive a 2011 f350 6.7 power stroke and had been struggling with an oil leak for over 7 months other mechanics diagnosed it as an upper oil pan / timing belt cover leak and I was trying for months to find someone trustworthy who would lift the cab off in order to do the the extremely complex repair. I m fortunate enough to know Allen as an internet friend, shot him a message, he diagnosed my problem in 30 seconds and I took it to a local diesel mechanic in my area to confirm his diagnosis, and sure enough, it was bang on the money. Power Automotive will definitely become my forever shop. I have always had terrible anxiety about taking a car to a mechanic because my dad usually always was able to fix everything for me at home, w/ his health conditions it is no longer an option. I had my vehicle towed to Power Automotive when it wouldn't start on Monday evening and Allen and his team spent hours Tuesday diagnosing the root of the issue. After coming to an answer for me and discussing other circumstances about the Jeep Allen was able to express his professional opinion and send me on my way with confidence in making my next move. I appreciate that he was clear in communication about what was going on with my vehicle and what the expenses of repair would look like for me. He was very honest about what would be my smartest choice and was able to save me from spending a ton of money. I highly recommend this shop to everyone not only have they done an amazing job in customer service they are down right good people in there.

Power Automotive is the best auto repair shop in our area. They always shop around to get us the best deal on parts that are needed for any service we're having done. We typically drop our car off at night and they call the next day once the service is complete. We've never been charged for an estimate and all services completed are always what they quote us. If you're looking for a good, honest mechanic that stands behind their work, definitely go to Power Automotive. I had an actuator door (I think that's what it was) go bad causing no heat in the winter and no a/c in the summer, they replaced it and the part was warrantied of course. The part went bad 3 more times under warranty and they always got me in immediately for the repair and didn't charge labor. While they're fixing the vehicles for us they also bring up any repairs that might be needed soon if they happen to notice any. They've replaced 3 transmissions in my husbands F-250 diesel as well as a transmission in my Lincoln MKT. The transmissions in my husbands truck all had issues from the manufacturer and had to be sent back to them (2 different times) and Power Auto was kind enough to not charge us labor again for the problems that were caused out of our control. Please due yourself a favor and go here to get your oil changes, transmission repair, brakes, motor work and any other auto repair you need done. Make and model do not matter even though they do specialize in diesel repair. I've had nothing but positive experiences when taking my diesel truck to Power Automotive. Professionalism, expertise and quality are just a few qualities that I can think of that best describe the type of service, guidance and care that I've received. I've had great communication via email and phone with the shop. I don't trust taking my truck anywhere else after having dealt with Power Automotive.

Allen has a great team and does a amazing job of listening to his customers and identifying root causes. The team at Power Automotive take the time to understand their customers, and their needs and wants. Been a customer of Allen's since he opened his doors and it was just him running the show.

Shout out to Allen and his team. We gave them the difficult task of changing a heater core and even though it took them longer than expected, he was awesome about working w us on price.When we got it back everything worked great!!Fantastic job. Highly recommend Allen s shop!

I ve gone here multiple times with multiple vehicles. They are always fast and scrupulously honest. Every time I go there the problem ends up being much simpler and cheaper to repair than I anticipated. They recently declined doing a water pump replacement as they had contacted the dealer and found the dealer could do it under warranty. They did a 100K mile check on my Silverado 2006. They discussed with me what had to be done and answered all my questions. The price was reasonable for all the work done. They didn t try to rip me off by adding unnecessary parts/labor. Allen, did a great job, I was chasing a hesitation in my 2011 Ram diesel for about a year. Allen diagnosed a faulty electric fan clutch sending spikes to the ECM. He had it repaired and ready in a couple of days.Thank You and nice work Allen Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Simply AMAZING 5 stars is not enough . My Husbands truck was down for some time after calling around and getting less then kind responses we found Allan ,My husbands truck was back on the road in a timely matter and Allan was more then willing to go above and beyond . I highly suggest power automotive for a clean quality job. Best diesel mechanic around.

Great customer service great value they stand behind their work100%. Had some parts fail they they installed and they made it right. Wasn't their fault the parts failed but still stood behind the work and made it right.i will go out of my way to go to this shop. I would highly recommend them to anybody. They will get all of my future automotive business
