I bought a 2011 ford escape probley 1.5 years ago and it just came in on trade, there mechanic found that that it needed about $2000.00 in repairs to engine mounts. But they fixed it before they let me leave the lot. Its been a great vehicle. Today a bought a 2013 Mercedes at a great price and in my opinion it's just like new. My salesman Dan K. Was great both times I was there and he was very passionate on selling me what i wanted. And I'm sure when it's time I will buy another vehicle from this dealership.Thank you Jon K.

Had to buy a "new" used car fast, as one of our vehicles was "totalled" by a deer, and three working people using 2 vehicles doesn't work!Found one at Shafer, which had come in so recently that it had been checked over, but a couple of items got missed.The people at Shafer didn't hesitate to fix the issues and did their best to make it fast, in spite of this vehicle being over mileage for any warranty.They put a LOT of work and effort into making sure we had a decent vehicle, safe for kids, and within our budget.Thank you salesman Ed,and the mechanic who noticed an issue and didn't ignore it,and the other mechanics who worked on it,and thanks to the dealership owners for getting us all set!We felt like they cared about us, and selling a vehicle that worked well

This place has the best prices on used cars around. I went online and found 2 SUV s that I wanted to look at, then called to see if they were available still. Gabriel Carmora answered the phone and I mentioned what vehicles I wanted to see, and that I d be there in 30 minutes as I was on my way down from the Tawas area. By the time I got there he had both vehicles parked out front for me. After a Quick Look at the two, I picked the one I really wanted and we went for a drive. By the time we got back I knew I wanted to buy the Jeep. We went in, did paperwork and within an hour I had accepted an offer. There were some mechanical items that needed to be taken care of still so we decided that I d bring the suv back and everything would be taken care of for free and I d have access to a rental while repairs were being done. From start to finish, Gabriel was kind, courteous, respectful, and attentive to every aspect of my experience at Schafer. I m so grateful to him and the mechanical crew who made sure that I not only had an easy, fast, and comfortable experience, but also made sure that I have a safe, reliable vehicle for years to come :)

Came in to look at vehicles not really sure on what me and wife wanted. Worked with Shawn Rupright, and he worked hard to get me and my wife the vehicles that we both wanted. Answered all my question and help get us into 2 brand new 2024. Couldn't ask for a better experience then what Shawn gave us. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend if you go to Schafers talk to Shawn.

I called on Wednesday afternoon to inquire about purchasing a new vehicle. I worked with Kasey and he set me up an appointment during the time I needed, sent me information on vehicle within what I wanted, and followed up the day before my appointment to see if I needed anything else. Kasey was great, I got to the appointment and looked through a list he had ready for vehicles for me. I left with the exact vehicle I wanted! Highly recommend taking your business to him!

From a city girl to a small town dealership, Schafer Chevrolet and Randy Wallace far exceeded my expectations!! I drove almost 2 1/2 hours to pick up my new truck! Superb experience!! After my vehicle was considered a total loss I searched for something new for days. It wasn t until I came across Shafer Chevy when I found exactly what I wanted and at a very great price. Working with Joseph Carr made the process in my years of purchasing or leasing vehicles smooth and easy. Shawn was amazing! Just left with a new to me 2015 equinox. He was very honest, quick and helpful. This place has the best prices and everyone down to the person that handles the finances is extremely professional and personable. I would recommend Schaefer any day!

Joe recently helped my husband and I purchase a new to us truck. He talked us through all our options and answered all our questions. He was very patient with us as we chased out toddler around the showroom as we filled out paperwork. Everyone was very nice and helpful! We would certainly come back to purchase another car from Joe!

Joseph was very knowledgeable about each vehicle. We enjoyed his company and he made the process easy. We had been looking around for a pre-owned pickup in a certain price rang with lower miles. They had several different vehicles to choose from at good pricing. I would recommend giving Joseph a call!

Ended up working with Ed, he was great to work with. He wasn't pushy, and was quite helpful. The 3014 wrangler was exactly as described, and their price was well under blue book. I would definitely go back there when it is time for a new vehicle

What a great experience purchasing my 2016 Jeep Cherokee from Schafer Chevrolet. James Dent is the most patient salesperson I have ever encountered. Believe me, his patience was tested. This is the first time I have ever purchased a vehicle and James, no doubt, at times throughout the process probably wished another salesperson was assisting me. The thoroughness throughout the transaction gave confidence that Schaefer Chevrolet is a dealership of integrity and is trustworthy. Thank you James and Schaefer Chevrolet that I have my first Jeep!

A while back we gave Schafer Chevy a glowing review about their business practice and star quality customer service. Well today I am sorry to say dealing with Joseph my opinion has done a 180. He knew I was driving over an hour to see this vehicle and I asked about the car and if it had been checked over and so forth to get an idea of what I was looking at. It was a 98 so I didn't expect anything premium. However, he omitted the fact it had been in a very obvious accident that prevents a door from opening. I told him I had cash in hand to buy a car and he did not even attempt to show another car. While we were looking at the car he did not have much to say not even seeing if we have questions, not giving us any information. He is a very poor car salesman, and the fact he omitted the accident and damages when I asked him about the car specifically and he knew how far I was coming from made me walk away. I am now omw to another place in Saginaw with 4grand cash in hand and a great credit score. I would personally never buy a car from a salesman like that.

I found it very easy to find a vehicle on the website. I worked with Ed D. to find the vehicle I wanted, he was very patient and not at all pushy. Norm was so incredibly helpful for financing, he got my interest rate cut in half! I'm so thankful for this experience.

Joseph Carr did an awesome job!! I first came to look at a car on the lot I thought I was set on. But he showed me several more cars in my price range that were better vehicles. He found me a better car than I thought I could find and get. He was super helpful to make the process quick and even stayed later to make sure I got the car! Would definitely recommend coming here and working with them, they have a huge inventory and lots of nice and helpful people.

Kasey was amazing. I called in wanting to know about a car that we had been looking at. He answered all my questions and not only that he made sure to create a video for me as I wasn t able to make it down to see the car in person. Upon arrival to pickup this car Kasey was very respectful and helpful with all the paperwork and any questions we had remaining even staying late to make sure all was good. Thank you Kasey!!!

Joeseph was so helpful! Got me in a new car within a day. Super patient and not pushy, financial team is nice and informative and will do what s best for the customer. Second time buying here will probably be back when the time comes for new vehicle!
