A blonde lady working the evening shift last Saturday was extremely helpful on assisting me and my husband on several things we will be working on in our kitchen. She was very knowledgeable and eager to help. Looking forward to doing business here again!

I have been shopping at pigeon self serve lumber for ten years but I must say that Tanya is the best manager that they have ever had there. She is very knowledgeable on all the prices and products in her store and extremely helpful. Tanya goes out of her way to help the customer Thank You Tanya for helping me.

Just went in for propane. They are about the cheapest around. Service was friendly and prompt. Building was clean.

Nice store and staff are helpful. Easy to find things since it's been rearranged. Staff don't follow you around but are knowledgeable.

Ordered cabinets from Self Serve Lumber and all the employees were absolutely terrific. Trish is a joy to work with, a big sense of humor and terrific help. Tanya was very responsive to all our concerns and really good at her job too. Every employee was as patient, knowledgeable, and as helpful as could be. I think I would like a part time job there when I retire just to hang out with these folks.

The Self Serve Lumber in Pigeon is my go to spot for any of my projects. Tanya makes you feel like you re part of the family. Not only is she very knowledgeable about what her store provides and what she can do to make your projects go smoothly, she has a great sense of humor. Even on your bad days go into self serve and Tanya or Trish can make you crack a smile.

Great place to get lumber, you get to drive up and pick it out yourself. Great prices and friendly service. I love how you are able to pick out your own lumber and if your not sure what something maybe called, they seem to know what your talking about.

High prices, no employees to help with anything. I realize the name is self serv.But come on. It's 20 minutes to get there, or 35 for me to go to Lowes. I'll still go to lowes. At least at lowes I can get advice, & they are cheaper.

Today I needed the proverbial kitchen sink and they had it. I was surprised to have options and at various price levels. Staff are friendly and helpful, so my shopping inside was fast.

I went to the pigeon self serve last week to purchase some lumber. After getting what I thought I needed I went into store to pay.i asked the lady working the register where I could find the screws..after she freed herself from her look of scorn , she pointed and said THAT WAY....when I walked up, another couple purchasing paint was at register,,the very unpleasant lady working asked if I was going to come up and pay, again very rude..I thought the couple in front of me were getting checked out...So when I went up , I grabbed 3 Carpenter pencils...I wanted to do some figuring back in my truck cause I thought I would need more wood but had nothing to write with. There was a carpenter pencil sharpener laying beside the pencils which had obviously been used before..I asked the lady if I could sharpen my pencil to do some figuring.IN A REAL HOLLOWEEN TONE SHE STATED,,IF I WOULD LIKE TO SHARPEN MY PENCILS I WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE THE SHARPENER......I was embarrassed, wondering what the couple with the paint behind me were thinking ???? SO TO WHOM THIS MAY CONCERN..I ALWAYS WENT TO A LOCAL PLACE INSTEAD OF DRIVING FOR CHEAPER MATERIALS..BUT I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO TO THE PIGEON SELF SERVE..
