Over the summer, I used Roger's Auto Service to perform a standard oil change and break job on two vehicles of mine. (Infinity QX80 and Jeep Grand Cherokee). I picked them because they were an Independant company that had great reviews. Prices were very good as well.After I drove off the lot with the Jeep, my check engine light came on. I didn't have time that day to return to Roger's so I went to AutoZone to diagnose, and they said it was something to do with oil pressure.So I finally got around to getting the checked engine light looked into and the Jeep dealer said, "Not sure where you took this car last but the oil filter was completely smashed and forced on." They went on to say they've seen this happen when a shop does not have the correct size.Needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed and will be looking to get a full refund on the oil change.

We put our van in the shop for a few things that it needed. The guys do a quality job at an affordable rate. I will definitely use again. Highly recommend!

I like the efficiency of these guy s. They were able to get me in right away which was nice however I asked them to put new break pads on and they changed my rotors without asking me first. I d rather they had done that but overall they were very professional and gave great service.

These guys diagnosed and fixed a couple of issues with my Land Rover LR4, which is a top level mechanical feat! Great communication and fair pricing. We were in the area on vacation and my brakes went out. I called so many garages and Rogers was the only shop that would take our car in. Every shop including theirs was full of jobs. I thought I would have to leave it there the remaining two days of our vacation. Boy was I surprised when he called a few hours after I left to say it was ready!! The problem was best case scenario and not too involved. They really stepped up for my family. So grateful.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent service! Ben was courteous, quick, and very accommodating. I was in for the weekend from Chicago when my car broke down. Needed to find a shop that could replace my alternator on a Saturday. After several calls, I got a hold of Ben and as it turned out they were closed that day. After explaining my situation, Ben agreed to do the alternator for me on his day off! His shop is walking distance to the downtown area so I was able to do some window shopping while I waited. He got me in and out in a couple hours and even replaced a belt for me that he saw was worn. Thank you, Ben! Wish I had you back in Chicago. I'd bring all my cars to you! He saved my vacation and his prices are honest and fair. I would not hesitate to bring my car here again. My Uber driver said he brings his car there too and said I had nothing to worry about. He was right!

Roger's Auto has been an awesome Mechanic for just about everything I've ever needed done. They have serviced every vehicle I own. From reasonably priced oil changes to a very fair hourly rate and professional work. I highly recommend them to anyone. The amount of times I've called them to just ask a question or stopped by to pick their brains is many. A solid crew of good guys. Cannot recommend enough.

I would recommend Roger's Auto Repair for all your auto repairs. I was stranded in Petoskey with an over heated car. They took it right in and fixed the problem. Thank you so much.

Got me Right In! When many other shops couldn't, changed some u joints and looked over my Jeep, Very Nice to deal with and Didnt try to Overcharge me! would Definitely recommend !!

We were pulling our camper when suddenly the brakes on our truck started grinding very badly. It was 2:30 on Saturday afternoon. Being from out of town we googled to find a place that could help us. Roger s auto service was one of the only places open on a Saturday. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and took care of us quickly. We are so thankful they could help! Great service! In and out in less than an hour. Just a little hiccup on our trip.we are once again Happy Campers!

I was looking to purchase a car in the Petoskey area (I'm not from the area) and needed a mechanics opinion on a few things I was concerned about. I work construction and was working a job in Petoskey, but my commute was over an hour and the sellers of said vehicle weren't too flexible on their schedule, so I needed a mechanic that day. Roger's Auto Service were the only ones willing to do an inspection for me given 1) I wasn't a repeat or long-term customer and 2) I needed an inspection with only two hours notice before they closed. Staff were especially polite and seemed very honest about their findings without any biases. I specifically spoke with Rodney who was both professional and personable (in my opinion). If I ever need a car looked at while I'm up there I'll go straight to them.Thanks guys

Absolutely fantastic customer service! We were visiting from out of town and heard a grinding noise. Brad offered to stay late to help us and very quickly diagnosed a bad wheel bearing. He had us back on our way in under an hour which was absolutely amazing. Brad was incredibly polite and worked extremely quickly as well. If we were from in town this would absolutely be our new shop.

On a camping trip up to petoskey our truck broke down on the way home to traverse city. They got us right in and have kept us up to date with everything they have been doing. I'm very grateful for everything they have done to help our family out!

Vehicle had a flat, spare tire also left my significant other stranded while I was at work. After work most tire shops are closed and Walmart was booked for the day. After explaining the situation to the mechanic 1/2 he. to closing, he said that he would fix it. Thank you

I was stranded 4 hours away from home in a bum vehicle on a Saturday. Roger's got me in right away and fixed my problem within 2 hours. They even gave me a ride into town so that we didn't have to sit there and wait.

1. Priced higher than all other dealers.2. Refused to work with my service contract company.3. Made me do the back and forth communication between him and the service contract company.4. Because of his unwillingness to work with the company I had to pay for a 2nd tow of my vehicle

Knowledgeable professional mechanics with decades of experience and they won't price gouge you. First place I think of if anyone asks for automotive help.
