I want to give a shout out to your company! You have gone above and beyond fixing a mistake of missing a product that didn t get in my bag that was a 16th year olds birthday gift! The fact that you drove it to another town to drop it off speaks volumes of your character and integrity! I would highly recommend your business to everyone! I came across this amazing business online while looking for a unique Christmas gift for my daughter. I was pleasantly surprised on how fast I received my order considering Christmas was 9 days away when placing my order. What really put the cherry on the top to this entire transaction was the personalized card I received with my order. It truly made my day. It's the small things that leave lasting impressions... just like the lucky Petoskey stone gift that came free with my order as well!!! Thank you so much! I will definitely be visiting your online store when I'm in need of another special gift.

They are not custom baskets. They do not let you pick what you want. The website for ordering is terrible. Keeps bringing to the main menu. Wasn't sure if my oder went threw. 20 min to confirm order and then they mailed it to me not to the gift recipient. Use anyone else.

The worst experience ever! Not one employee acknowledges you! Even when you go to the counter and ask for help, they still ignore you. Not one of them offers to help . I would highly recommend not shopping here.

This is by far my favorite shop in Michigan! Every year we come up north to petoskey, and the first thing that we have to do is go here! You re store is so homey and cozy (especially in the winter.) the merchandise is very fun and unique. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming! I especially love your selection of Pendleton gear! Have a wonderful summer and stay safe.

I would just like to say, this store has amazing customer service. I bought a Petoskey Stone wine-key from here, and unfortunately it broke and chipped right off as shown in the photo. Carson and the team at grandpa Shorter s was nice enough to replace it for me at no charge. Will certainly be back!

I ve been shopping at Grandpa Shorter s for years and have brought many guests visiting Northern Michigan into the store. Very disappointed in the attached key chain for sale in the store. I have always thought of Grandpa s Shorts as a family store and don t feel this is what you want to advertise.

Grandpa Shorter's Gift, Inc. Is a truly a go-to destination in Downtown Petoskey that I ALWAYS visit when I'm in town. The staff is so friendly, I feel right at home. They carry such a variety, from beautiful Petoskey stones, to Minnetonka moccasins, Pendleton blankets, apparel, fun games and gifts... all things Petoskey! I purchased a gift online to ship to my mom and they wrapped it so sweetly. She loved it! Thank you Grandpa Shorter's for the extra care you put into this purchase!

Great shop with that northern Michigan vibe! I stopped on a trip to Petoskey in October and was taken by the charm of the store and all of the unique gifts they carry. After I returned home from my trip I had a need to send gift baskets to my coworkers for a team building event. I remembered Grandpa Shorter's offered a variety of gift basket options so I reached out to them about helping me out. The team there was wonderful to work with. They prepared and shipped the gift baskets in record time, and accounted for dietary needs, and communicated with me throughout the process. They made the process super easy from start to finish and I was very pleased with my experience and the products they included in the gift box!

Beautiful store with great gifts that go far beyond your average t-shirt and coffee mug souvenirs. We found gifts for everyone here and the employees were so polite and friendly, that makes a huge difference to the customer, and we appreciate their kindness. Whenever we visit we will make it a point to return and bring our business to this wonderful gem.

Super cool gift shop! The ladies working when we visited were very friendly and helpful. We also happened to come in between Christmas and NYE when they were running a Christmas clearance event which was really fortunate for us! Got some neat souvenirs!

I love everything about Grandpa Shorter's. Friendly staff, great selection of items, and I always find exactly what I'm looking for, and things I had no idea I was looking for - it's kind of the best of both worlds! Anytime I'm stumped for a gift idea, Jennifer or one of her amazing staff members points me in a direction I hadn't considered or even thought of - always finding the best things! This is a store I can spend hours in, or be super quick if I'm in a hurry and still get exactly what I need.

Grandpa Shorter s is a lovely place to shop. I love all the little departments throughout the very organized store. I love shopping with my three grandsons! There is something for each age (5,3,2) that they pick! What fun!There are wonderful gifts for everyone in the family, and I always find unique hostess gifts too.

The staff here was friendly - very personable, and made us (my 8 year old son and I) feel very welcome in the store. We came in to procure a Petoskey stone (after an unproductive day-long search along the local beaches), and ended up taking home several little odds and ends.As far as selection goes, this gift shop contained everything you're looking for, and much you didn't even know you wanted. Check it out if you're visiting town!

The product selection at Shorter's is excellent and the staff is always so friendly and responsive. I've had numerous orders shipped or picked up curbside in the past year and have shopped in store and every time it has been a really great experience! Shipping is economical and prompt and communication about the status of my order is wonderful. We love supporting this small business!

Ok, I have always loved this store ever since I was little girl and let's just say that was quite a while ago...for so many reasons; the super cool vintage atmosphere, the history, the uniqueness of so many of their products and prices and just general cool vibe ! I love to come in and just look around, but the other day I decided to try ordering from them online and it was such a pleasure! Great, super easy to navigate website, very fast and reasonable shipping, as well as a bonus Petoskey Stone tucked into my order! :-) Thank you for being such a treasure to our area for so many decades and offering such wonderful customer service whether in store or online in a day and age when that has become so rare. The staff at Shorter s Gifts could not be more helpful! I wanted to make an online purchase and have someone else pick it up for me. Jennifer is absolutely awesome! She made my purchase so easy and also made sure that what I had purchased was beautifully wrapped because I had mentioned it was for a 90th birthday! I will definitely shop with them again and HIGHLY recommend them to my friends and family! Thank you for an awesome experience, and I will see you in person tomorrow!

I cannot say enough about this store. It is not just a place to shop, it is an experience. You are always greeted with a smile and an offer to help find what you are looking for,. I can literally walk in there and knock off everyone on my list, in fact I have- I purchased gifts for all 15 of our office team members and they were all very specific to each person. The items in the store are unique, represent our area and are well made. And they offer free gift wrapping...what's not to love! It is truly my favorite store in Petoskey.....I mean besides The Katydid and J.W. Shorters, Grandpa Shorters sister stores

Great gift shop in downtown. They have clothing and little trinkets.If you can t find a petoskey stone you can purchase them here!! Raw or polished it s up to you. They have plenty of jewelry too if you wanted to represent the Michigan stone Everyone here was so nice and they had things for everyone. Books, bags, and for kids.I love this store.
