The best part about this store is the staff. The employees are so friendly. They know exactly what you are looking for. I have to say, since more women have been employed here, the service has just gone through the roof. I never go to any other auto parts store.

Walked around in the store looking for what I wanted, couldn't find it, and nobody offered to help, so I went to O'Reilly's and the lady there found it in a jiffy.

Friendly Ppl, Clean Store. Last Tuesday I was there and there was like 4-5 Employees just doing whatever their doing. I stood at the Counter a good 10-15 mins.

This place didn't have in-stock or couldn't not locate the "Hanes automobile repair manual " , I was told by service rep that nobody careys these anymore and I really need a repair manual for my car its a {chevy cruise 2012 LT }~ W/ THE (turbo) option for the stock motor! / ?

I use advance auto parts exclusively for automotive related purchases and love their speed perks reward program, of which I m an elite tier member. This is the first negative experience with advance auto parts.I came in to swap a bad battery under warranty, Nick, the assistant general manager took my battery and verified it was bad and then proceeded to refund my money without any explanation as to why, rather than replace the battery as stated on their website in the terms, to the card I had used at the time of purchase 2 years prior which is no longer valid and just shrugged when I informed him of this.He then proceeded to take not only my battery but insist I take a receipt for the refund credit onto a defunct card I cannot use and a phone number for corporate.Clarification:At no point during my interaction with assistant general manager nick, was I explained the battery warranty, the process that entails, or even asked how I would like to proceed. Instead, the decision to refund my purchase without any inference as to if the original payment card was still valid and in use was made until AFTER the transaction had been completed. Upon communicating my confusion and no longer having the prior card to him, he just shrugged and and said oh .Displeased with this answer, I asked for my battery to be returned back to me to complete my transaction elsewhere, to which I was told I couldn t have it back.So now I m left to wait on a $150 refund for up to 30 days and have no battery. When requesting management, the only thing assistant general manager nick could say was he was the assistant general manager and nobody else could offer me any help and gave a 1-800 number to call.The other employees were sympathetic and had attempted to be helpful while I waited for almost 30 minutes. Whoever the store owners are should take a hard look at what management material is at their paw paw, Michigan store and learn what customer service is and then learn how to teach and actually deliver it.If this is how advance auto parts operates as a company and trains their management and staff, they SHOULD NOT and WILL NOT be in business.I ll be going to Kalamazoo for all future auto parts needs.Experience: 0/10Customer service: 1/10 ONLY because of nonmanagement workers

It is organized and convenient. The staff are helpful and friendly. I gave 4 stars because I couldn't complete my purchase. My company credit card was asking for a pin# and that card doesn't have one. They couldn't fix the issue after several tries. So I had to leave without my part. Hope they get their software fixed. Good luck !

The person that was supposed to help basically stood there and didn't do much of anything besides tell my daughter halfway on what to do. I thought they were to help with what needed fixed not just standing there

Why I shop @ Advance is because they go that extra mile by putting your purchase on your for you, ( wipers, battery, light bulbs etc.) The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wise or shops @ Advance Auto Parts. There's just no other place like it period! Way to go Advance, keep up the great work and exceptional service!

I honestly would give them NO stars! I've been a customer there for a while buying most of my parts there. I went to get my shocks that I have under warranty, and they wouldn't give them to me even with the receipt. So I had to repurchase them and when I came back to get the money back from the other warranty I was told they couldn't do it. Manager there was very unhelpful. I will no longer be shopping there as the parts go bad quickly and then they don't honor their warranty.

This store is 5 stars every time. Everyone is polite and are very knowledgeable and helpful. I always have a great shopping experience when I shop at this store. I had the opportunity of being helped by Jaime L. And let me tell you this guy is sharp and very helpful. Great place to buy your auto parts! Thanks for your dedication and hard work!

Advance Auto Parts in Paw Paw is an excellent go to spot for your automotive needs. I needed a new battery and your associate Calvin Ross came out and helped me and did an OUTSTANDING job. Calvin went above and beyond to help me get my new battery in my car. I couldn't be more happier right now. Calvin Ross is an outstanding employee, very good with people, and knows his job very well. Purchased $200 platinum battery. Store offers free install. Car has plastic cover over battery with 3 easy to undo clips. Staff advised he could not install because battery was buried in car. I offered to remove plastic, but he still said no. I requested refund. If I'm going to install myself I'll buy it somewhere for less!It then took staff 20 minutes to refund money, as most seem to have been trained on the fly! They could have installed battery in the time it took to process refund. Staff

I was returning a part that I never used, and it took the guy 30 minutes to figure out how to do it He never gave up even though he was clearly frustrated. So no real complaints.

Accepts your old car batteries and used motor oil. Great place to get your auto parts.Staff is great and easy to talk to, as long as you avoid the old guy with the white beard and raspy voice. Lots of unnecessary hostility and lack of patience with him. I was dropping off some dead car batteries and wanted to know where he would like me to put them as it was my first time doing so. For some reason he did not understand that and it quickly got to the point where he was asking "What do you want from me?". Guy I talked to on the phone quickly came around and turned the situation around as I just wanted to know where they wanted me to put them. Lesson learned.Great place, but avoid the grumpy old guy.Thank you for your help :)

If you haven't signed up for the Speed Perks reward system you should. The prices are a bit higher when not on sale, or without the discounts offered to Speed Perks members.To get the best deals you sometimes have to split orders to take advantage of their % off + $ off your next purchase to maximize the savings.

I went yesterday to get my battery checked out and they said it was good just needed a charge. But then I went back because my car was dead after i charged it and I asked if they would know what's wrong with my car and they said no. His name was Bud and "helped" me both times. Let me tell you, I had to walk to the store and back because my car was dead at home. Plus it was rude and disrespectful. This place has started to suck more now that they have new people. If you don't know what you're talking about or not even trying to help a customer, then why do you even work there?! If I could rate this a 0, I would.

Bought a $200+ battery last month. Advance Auto installed. Thought I had a dead battery tonight but cable loose and bad connection, unable to get it tightened to stay on battery. Went back to store tonight and staff not helpful and told me to go to a mechanic, accused bf of trying to steal a part.. You tubing info to fix problem with battery. Brick and mortar stores bye bye.
