I purchase a wiring harness and computer for my 49 jeep flat fender.took me 4 years to get the 4.3 to run but wouldn't run correctly. AFI took my phone call and provided me with enough information to get my jeep running correctly. No fault of theirs! Great product, great support will use again! 5 stars

I ordered an Optimum EFI system and spent months trying to make it work on my truck. The kit never ran right and the truck would randomly die. The only way to troubleshoot the issue was to purchase a scan tool, and I went through three of them before I could find one that would connect to the computer. This was after Norm insisted that any scan tool, including the cheapest ones, would work fine with the kit. I talked with Norm about a partial refund and was told to send back my kit at my expense for testing and he would get back to me about the refund. It has now been since Jun 28, 2022 when Norm had confirmed that he received my kit, but I have not heard anything back about a refund. This kit was basically $1,477.25 down the drain and wasted months of my life. After being told over and over that it was something I did wrong during the install I ended up installing an Edelbrock kit and it worked great out of the box. Don't waste your time or money with Affordable Fuel Injection.

I bought a TBI legacy kit for a 318 from these guys and have been running it on my daily for almost 2 years with no issue. I m super happy with it and have been really impressed by their customer service. Even after my warranty ended, any time Iv had an issue or question and reached out to them through email they ve gotten back to me within a few hours.Service: Vehicle maintenance

I give them 2 stars due to being well satisfied with my first purchase for a 258 Jeep motor. The second was for a 351M with a mild cam, that's where the problems began. I spoke with a guy on the phone and ordered as per his recommendation. After installing and the kit would not tune, I spoke with the owner, trying to reach a resolve but he just insisted I was wrong and he was right. I have never spoken to an owner of a business who was more rude than this gentleman. I asked him nicely to take this one in on trade for the larger kit he said I needed and he finally agreed, but was ONLY going to credit me about 50% towards my next purchase ("restocking fee") ("It's now a used system") said the owner. Simply due to the owner's attitude and lack of concern for the issue they helped create, I will never purchase a 3rd kit from here and that's a promise. I should have, and I recommend you do too, spend the extra and buy from a name brand organization. Truly disappointing. I was forced to go with a carburetor to finish my project because I'd already spent $1200 on AFI that wouldn't work. This is my hobby, I do at least one build a year, you just lost a customer forever.

Decent value. Average quality. I recently installed one of your kits on a mercruiser 454 mag . overall I found the quality of the kit decent. Customer support wasn't awefull for 2021 standards.This kit definently requires a decent understanding of efi systems to be installed correctly. One issue I ran into was the progressive 4bbl linkage (just why??) My injector harness was wired backwards, the fuel regulator was a lacklustre item, instructions are vague, and even after explaining exactly what we were installing, the package wasn't compatible with my ignition. The iac and ignition module didn't agree at all. That being said AFI corrected my ecu, added the ignition box (gm tbi ignition mod) and overall made it rightI would recommend this kit, but not to a shadetree mechanic.When ordering be very thorough with them . be sure to get the module for the ignition. I see a lot of potential for this company and would love to have the opportunity to help them improve their product.So if you have time and knowledge to tinker with it and refine their set up, this is a good kit. Is it plug and play? Not really.... It should be viewed as a custom item. Fabrication and diagnostic ability is needed.

I met the owner about 10 years ago. We got talking and he said he need a vehicle as a prototype for a 4 cyc motor. I had a CJ2A with the go devil motor that I just had rebuilt. We talked sent pictures. AFI designed a tbi system for my Jeep. It was professionally installed by one of his partner companies. It was flawless. Fast forward 7 years Jeep was in storage for 2 years while I was overseas, came back put a new battery in Jeep started like it had just been running. Fast forward to last week, Jeep would not run. Replaced fuel pump no help. I called AFI talked with the owner Norm. After the discussion we both believed it was the ecm. Norm pulled out my ten year old file flashed a new ecm for me. I received it 4 days later, put it in and the Jeep started right up. No issues now. I love how responsive AFI was. Having my records after 10 years impressive. Customer support second to none.

Had LS harness rework done. Cheapest reputable place I could find and harness came back looking like new. Fast turnaround time (less then two weeks including shipping). Very helpful and knowledgeable. Weather proof fuse and relay box is high quality. I installed it and it looks and works great. I spent approximately $550 which includes ECM flash. I highly recommend this company. They're work is great and they're way cheaper than spear tech.

I got in a little over my head trying to install a kit on my 1978 International Scout II. The kit worked fine but the truck had some fuel delivery issues. Norm and the group at AFI let me bring my car to their shop to get it straightened out. Now it is running like a top. Thats pretty good customer service.

Great product! Purchased a kit for an industrial engine and it mad a huge difference!!!!!!!!!!! The engine went from very hard starting to very easy even under the toughest conditions. Engine pulled much better and seamed to use less fuel. The kit was a bit hard to work with for a inexperienced mechanic. If you purchase one make sure you live close to a hardware and auto parts store as you will spend time chasing parts and hardware to make work. Technical assistance is very good but gruff from Norm. That said it was worth the effort to install.

we are a professional repair facility and orderd a ls3 conversion computer, wireharness, and fuse box from these guys, we had 3 connectors that were wrong so they sent us the correct pigtails after weeks we received them and had to cut/splice connectors into our brand new harness!now we have no power to a whole side of fuel injectors and other smaller problemsThere Customer Support Is unexistent Beware

The Gm TBI kit worked great and was an easy install. Can purchase any replacement parts at any part store since oe parts. Only thing I would suggest is to predrill the spacer plat and add a 1/4 npt port like the rochesters had for brake booster vacuum supply. Thanks "AFI"

The folks at Affordable helped me get everything to put a TBI on my 1986 3.0 boat. Everything worked out slick, sooo much better over that old carb. They can help you also.

junk trash not worth your time or 2 cents spent $1000. on this pos and 4 hours 362.98 in parts to fix this pos dont spend your time or $$$$ on this will not return call for support no help at all all sensors are china junk and 4 have failed in less than 1 year and 2200 mi now the control mod failed this is a mix of gm and chin parts as things fail it hard to ID parts tbi 2"" gm truck? butt the distributor is the big cap not truck the prom # comes back to a carb truck and the ig control mod is 6 wire gm car ???Service: Vehicle maintenance

I am a GM Tech been working on General Motors vehicle for 30 years order a LS swap Warren harness and program computer supposed to have been plug-in go had nothing but problems the engineer claim that the computer that they sent me Would not read the oxygen sensors told me that I had the wrong O2 sensors I sent a ground to the ECM on the signal while it did not change I told them their computer must have been bad Norm was very rude will not recommend their to anyone I sent their computer back to them with one of my own they program the one I sent to them did not make the one that they sold me good so I am out of a computer and probably 10 hours labor chasing a problem that they created by Programming their computerService: Vehicle maintenance

I had an issue with my system. they sent me a new chip to correct the problem. The issue was eventually resolved to my satisfaction.
