Brought my Honda in with ignition issues and with the following information, "I believe I have a bad ignition switch, and I've partially rebuilt the distributor." Mechanic says it's the distributor after diagnosis for a day or so, and quotes me 400-450 for replacement. 5 days later I get a call that the real issue was a bad fuel injector. And now the total is 660 dollars. So I pay for a new distributor I didn't need; at least the car is fixed. It starts and runs when I pick it up, I drive it home, and the next day, no ignition, back to square one. I call them, they tell me to drag it down there so they can check the dizzy. On a hunch I do 5 minutes of research, go buy a multimeter, and in 15 minutes I find diagnose and discover I have a bad ignition switch. I am a complete novice. So I call back, inform them of what I've discovered, and ask how we are going to make this right. He quotes me 80 (EIGHTY) man hours for the repair and several hundred dollars for the parts. No offer of compensation for my wasted time and money, and no apology for his lack of communication with me or negligence in diagnosis.I seriously recommend you dont waste your time and money here.
