Recently, during a visit to this establishment, I encountered numerous issues that significantly detracted from the usual high standards I have come to expect from this store. I observed behaviors among the staff that were far from professional, including vociferous articulation of personal opinions, and instances where employees were seen undermining their colleagues in a bid to claim credit for sales they had not initiated. Traditionally, AutoZone has been my preferred destination for automotive needs, not only for myself but also for my family. It is, therefore, disheartening to witness a seemingly competitive environment amongst the staff, which, regrettably, appears to be both unseemly and indicative of poor management.The leadership approach adopted by both the store manager, Mike, and the commercial manager, Nick, leaves much to be desired. Their management style raises questions regarding the overarching principles guiding the operational strategy of this store, suggesting a need for a significant overhaul if the store is to realize its full potential. While the store undoubtedly possesses the capacity to provide excellent service and product offerings, the current state of affairs is far from satisfactory.It is, however, imperative to acknowledge the commendable efforts of two employees, Sean and Isaac. Both individuals consistently demonstrate a commendable dedication to customer service, going above and beyond to assist customers while managing their other responsibilities. Their professionalism and genuine care for customers stand out as exemplary amidst the prevailing issues within the store.In light of my recent experiences, my rating of this store is constrained to a single star, a reflection of the leadership's failure to recognize and foster the talents and dedication of valuable employees such as Sean and Isaac. The lack of effective management oversight and the prevailing culture of individualism over teamwork are glaring issues that need addressing for the betterment of the community's shopping experience at AutoZone.In conclusion, it is the unwavering support and exceptional customer service provided by Sean and Isaac alone that would compel my return to this particular store. They have consistently proven themselves to be assets to the establishment, demonstrating a level of customer care that transcends mere transactional interactions. It is my sincere hope that AutoZone will implement necessary changes to harness its potential fully, thereby elevating its service level to meet the needs of our community effectively. Kudos to Sean and Isaac for their outstanding service; they truly excel in their roles.

The auto zone off m89 went way beyond the call of duty on Sunday March 24, I locked my keys in my car and the worker there worked for over 3 hours to help me open my doors with the help of their great customers. Thank you so much guys. Love you

This AutoZone location is pretty decent. Got a great deal on some brake pads here. The people who work here, including Sean, are really nice people. Would recommend coming here.

Hi, I'm Josh, and I'm an alcoholic.So, I try not to drink beer anymore because I just love it too much, I guess.Instead, I enjoy various root beers, cream sodas, or whatever interesting flavors I can find, typically in glass bottles. Yesterday, I had a peach soda in a clear long-neck glass bottle, as I cruised in my rust-riddled run down van.But then it it hit me: I needed brake pads.Since I was traveling past my local Plainwell/Otsego Auto Zone on the way home, I decided to pick up the pads.The friendly associate helped me choose the proper pads, based on my vehicle's VIN, and then rang me up. After I paid, he so graciously and diplomatically put my items in a plastic bag and said, "Now, let me put these in a bag for you, so you don't spill your beer." (In retrospect, the peach drink appeared very similar to a Corona).Chuckling hard, I told the associate that this was a peach soda, and that it was like 1:30 in the afternoon. Laid back and friendly, he replied with a smile "It's 5 o'clock somewhere."Hell yeah, the stuff of life. This is an accepting environment for anyone, and they even sell car parts!

Great service from the folks at Autozone! We went in to get new wiper blades, and Michael was kind enough to point out we could get windshield washer fluid for $1 with two wiper blade purchase. Plus, he went outside and put on the new ones for us in about a minute. Can't beat that! Thanks again!

Will only be going to the Plainwell Autozone from now on. Went right before they closed with a dead battery and Isaac W. had it swapped in less than 15 minutes. Very friendly. Definitely will be recommending this location to everyone. Thanks again Isaac!

normally they are spot on but nothing better than getting an oil filter from them draining your oil and when trying to replace the oil filter it doesn't fit... what a waste of oil time and fun.. normally they are spot on but do your research

I had 2 headlights out and Isaac W was extremely helpful in checking the fuses and the lights and figuring out what head lights I needed. He also put both bulbs in for me and made sure all with working correctly before I left the store. He did a great job!

AutoZone has junk parts. Bought a set of ball joints for my 2006 Dodge Dakota. Had only a short time, grease gone inside, and the fitting broke off where you grease it.Thankfully I do believe still under warranty.I've had other issues with different mechanical parts on my truck going out too soon. AutoZone needs to look into getting better parts. Especially when they preach they are all about customer service, and making customers satisfied, and happy.Becoming a serious problem when you go to an auto parts store to get quality parts, but end up with junk, save yourself money, and theheadache and shop elsewhere.

Where do I begin to start. I came in with a issue on the battery I purchased earlier in the year. The manager Mark helped me out. He took the time to help me get a new one and installed it for me for free. His expert advice and his help is fantastic. From now on if I have any other issues with my car I will ask for him personally and I know that I am in good hands trusting him with my car. Thank you sir.

I really appreciate when mark zander is available. He's old school and very knowledgeable. When I first moved here and I needed a tool for my car, AutoZone was the first place I tried and Mark helped me order my part and also gave me some advice when I was working on cars that I was having trouble with . I'll always be a customer because of Mark!

Went in for a headlight bulb and to possibly price a headlight assembly because the dealership repair shop said one side was broken. Not only did Larry go above and beyond helping me change the side I bought the bulb for, he looked at the "broken" side and got it working too for the price of an extra bulb. It took a little extra time, but he was determined and saved me of time, effort, and money. Thanks again for the great experience!

I came in right before close and Issac and the lady that was working with him helped me install my signal blinkers after they had broken in my headlights. Thank you guys for helping me after your shift was over, I greatly appreciate it and now I don t have to stress about them anymore:)

Walked in store at 740 2 guys working not one of them says a word to me. Been walking around store for 10 minutes and still nothing, like I'm not even there. Just 2 guys talking. Guess it's time to go somewhere where people actually say hi how can I help you.. customer service is very very poor, and I'm the only shopper

I went to AutoZone in Plainwell for a last minute, end of the day, broken wiper blade in the rain. I was greeted right away and while I was completing the purchase, Isaac had the correct part installed correctly in under a minute! Thank you for being so friendly and helpful even near closing in the rain! I ll be back for whatever thing breaks next on my car!

You've now entered the ZanderZone!! Mark is always so very helpful every time I need help fixing our vehicles and he takes a moment to make a connection with real talk. I love customer service like that! Every time I call ahead to see about a part look up and price they are always pleasant about taking the time to do so. This AutoZone is best one around !!
