Great local pub, with friendly people, great music, and fantastic ambience. We had one of the giant pretzels with beer cheese, and it was great. Others seemed happy with their food. The owners were very friendly and have a great, historic bar. There is also outdoor seating if the weather is good. Prices were good too. This is a cool town, we will stay here again, and will explore Portage Lake some more. Really enjoyed this place.

Great place, Great atmosphere. I ll sum it up with something my buddy told me along time ago if a bar has a cool bathroom and It s clean then you know the kitchen is worth ordering from. This joint has one of the cleanest coolest bathrooms in a bar I ve ever been to in my life.

My husband and I were passing through Onekama and stumbled onto this gem. From the friendly staff and customers to the fantastic auto industry history decor this place is wonderful! I enjoyed a firehouse hotdog from their kitchen. It was the perfect blend of heat and flavor. My husband ordered from the food truck outside and enjoyed that too. We highly recommend you stop here!

Great bar with an awesome beer garden in back! We went last Thursday on the day they opened (didn't realize it was opening day) when we were in town for a wedding, and enjoyed sitting in the beer garden. Really enjoyed the unique decor inside, and the service was great! It was the family (husband, wife and daughter) working behind the bar and they were very friendly. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again!

I feel like I ve given this place more than enough chances, and on their best day they are boringly mediocre. Apparently they can t be bothered to update their Facebook page which says they re open till 11 on Sundays, when actually they close at eight. Also, even on the busiest of nights, they will do last call 20 minutes before close rather than stay open a second past11, like any normal bar one. Also, I ve never seen a bartender so poorly trained as to not give small bills in change to allow the customer flexibility with the tip. The area may not have many bars, but you re better off going to another one.

What a fun place! Its vintage decor is delightful. Cozy atmosphere to spend some down time or meet up with family and friends. Their burgers and hot dogs are delicious and their appetizers are tasty. They have a broad choice of mixed drinks, beers ( some local), vodka seltzers, delicious mules in many flavors and also cater to bourbon lovers with mid to high end bourbons. The service is friendly and efficient. And to top it off they occasionally have great entertainment which they advertise in their Facebook page. This is a must stop place when you are on the beautiful M22 Highway.

A lovely, quaint, old fashioned bar that has been a mainstay of the area for years. I'm so happy about the new management reopening its doors. Great local beer, friendly barman, what more could you want?

If you re in the area this is a must go!The atmosphere, the assortment of drinks, and the phenomenal burgers set your night up for a memorable experience.The Blue Slipper is capped off by a great family owned staff.This is the tourist friendly local watering hole that everyone will love.The drink are made well and the rotating taps always offer something for the average- craft beer drink. (Domestic in bottle)A better than typical assortment of liquor options.I m very glad I found this atmosphere when I did!

I was happy with my experience here. They have really good burgers and big pretzels and the owners are friendly, and there is lots of cool memorabilia on the walls. There's a lot of regulars who come in around 3:05 and they are nice folks. They have 6 different beers on tap and they are good beers. They have 3 tvs and they put sports on. For Christmas they had good decorations. They also have hats, t-shirts, and stickers for sale. I bought a hat and got compliments on it.

Super cute place, old and full of history! We visited for drinks and a snack along our road trip last weekend. Friendly bartenders, the locals were also there sharing stories. They don t have much to pick from as far as food goes, so we tried the spinach artichoke dip. It was strange- obviously microwaved, no detectable cheese and watery instead of creamy. But those chips and baby flatbreads were great.

The bar is currently closed due to transfer of ownership. I know the new owners and manager are doing whatever they can to get the doors open as soon as possible. Please have faith and be patient with Mr. and Mrs. Paz and Christopher while they work on getting the bar up and running again.

Fun little hole in the wall bar. We were vacationing in the area and stopped in one night to watch NBA playoffs. They had great live music the night me and my family were there! Food was good too!

The decor is exquisite. Just a neat place. It was designed with talent and care. Great selection of beers and drinks. Typical food selection for small bar, but then they add in the food trucks which you eat inside the bar. It's a nice combination of bar with good unique food.

This is the ONLY watering hole in town. Its on the preppy side so low-lifes, beware! This is a family oriented, clean and proper place, so leave your attitude back home and come on in and enjoy a relaxing and decent place!!!

Owners are very personable. They have a good selection of local beers on tap along with the usual spirits. They do not have a full kitchen but bring in food trucks on a rotating basis, I really like the variety and it has given this mainstay of Onekama a new life. I hope they are here to stay.

Waitress was very friendly. My family loved their dinners but I didn't like my selection. The waitress appologized and asked if I wanted something else which I appreciated. Prices kinda high, Decor isn't fabulous but quaint. Would try again if in the area.

Walked in on Valentine's Day there may have been maybe six people in the whole place. Was told I needed to sit at a different table ok no problem. Then I'm told there is a whole bunch of reservations and all they where serving at the moment where appetizers. Its 4:30 in the afternoon. Needless to say I didn't eat there nor will I in the future. It was a great place a few years ago. On my way to Club44. Happy Valentine's Day.
