I have lived in Michigan 9 years and have never had a good experience with auto care until I found Brett. He is the most honest and upfront mechanic I have ever met. His prices are more than fair and he even sends you a detailed text with pictures of what needs repaired and shows you the damaged parts when you pick up your vehicle! Thanks for the great service Brett!

This shop is an amazing place. Hard-working people. Brett, the owner is extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of internal combustion. He explains details of what is be wrong with your car., He details how he s going to fix it and gives you updates on the process. His diagnosis and I plan to how to fix detail in writing, leaving no room for misunderstanding..Let me tell you ,I race cars at the Amateur level with SCCA, I have been racing for approximately 12 years and I ve never found a mechanic more knowledgeable than Brett, my BMW E 92 went in with a blown engine, he discovered the messed up fix others did that lead to the fatal failure of that engine and he found me a great engine to make a swap with. Now my track car is faster than ever.He s got very sophisticated equipment, multiple lifts and certified mechanics in his shop , most importantly ;he s honest , accurate and transparent as Caribbean water.I definitely trust this shop with my life since they are working on my other race car and you can not afford car failures at 130 mph.My wife is also customer and she s very satisfied.If you want, sophisticated, honest, reliable, prompt knowledgeable mechanics at a honest, fair price, this is the place to visit.

I stumbled upon this place maybe a little more than a year ago now, and I'm glad I did. Not only is the story behind the shop lovely, but Brett is such a nice guy and very efficient. I've met nice folks at auto shops before, but this is a different vibe. Very respectful and gives a "small town" feel. The car work hasn't disappointed me yet either!

Fast & Friendly quality service. Final cost as promised. Began working on my car right when I brought it in for the appointment. Got it done in the estimated time. Showed me the old parts and explained why they needed to be replaced. Very reasonable labor costs. Clean and bright waiting room.It is a pleasure (and somewhat rare these days, in my experience) to be able to say that these reasonable expectations were met and exceeded at an auto repair shop. Really!! Couldn't be happier!You've got my future business! Thank you, Brett & Employees!

Forgot to post a review sooner. I am selective about whose hands I put my vehicles in, and was very lucky to find this place right around the corner. I ve been several times in the past year since I moved, and I m unlikely to go anywhere else. Great customer service, flexible, and no overpricing. My go-to guys from now on.

I received a friendly and fast service with no charge.I walked in to change my license plate as the screws were stuck on it. They took a look and removed the screws and helped to put the new plate on.Thanks a lot for the help.

An absolute professional place run by a very good human being and a wonderful mechanic- Brett. The most impressive part was honoring the time both for accepting the vehicle as well as delivering the vehicle after completing all the repairs as promised. They did an initial all round vehicle checkup and provided with a digital report of the vehicle condition before starting the work , which was good. Brett provides absolutely outstanding service and goes way above and beyond any auto repair shop I have ever worked with in my life. He provides a link to a full diagnostic via text message so you can see exactly what work needs to be done on your car. He's honest, efficient, runs an immaculately clean shop, and the price is right. He even brushed the snow off my car for me when I picked it up. Precise auto repair are my hometown mechanics! I was referred by a friend to them. I brought my car in held together by faith! As a woman, finding a trustworthy mechanic is not always easy and often gives me anxiety but Brett made me feel like family. Brett and his team are top of the line when it comes to professionalism. Not only did he give me a detailed inspection that came right to my phone with pictures included, but he also took the time out to explain to me in detail what each item was in a way that I could understand it. He also explained to me what typically causes these issues. For the amount of work done on my vehicle, the price and the speed that it was all done and ready to go was nothing short of amazing. I felt like I was driving a brand new car off the lot! I can t stress enough how happy I am with the service I was provided at Precise! I couldn't get an appointment to have my outer tie rods repaired before my out-of-town trip two days later. I went to Precise Auto Repair and spoke to Brett. To my surprise, Brett offered me a next-day appointment with a reasonable price for Tie Rod replacement and wheel alignment. I was also given a tour of their garage and equipment, which using cutting-edge technology. I experienced no stroking while driving the vehicle. The work was also covered by a three-year warranty. It s my perfect fault because I didn t know Precise auto since I had my car . Even though I was too late! But, from now on, I don t have any concern because I found, I met Brett!!!!! I felt he is the world best engineer for any my car issues!!!Absolutely recommend!!! Just go, and fix your car with professional mechanics!!!

I just moved to Novi, Mi so I was very skeptical of going to any mechanic other than my mechanic in Columbus, Ohio (once my car overheated and started leaking antifreeze). I went to Precise auto repair and they were booked for some days out. But they squeezed me in. Giving me amazing customer service. Very knowledgeable of cars and was quick to diagnose my problem and fix all three of my car problems in a timely matter( saving me well over 700.00 in parts. Also, they went above and beyond. They picked me up from my home so I wouldn t have to walk to the repair shop to pick up my vehicle. Over all Good service done in a timely manner at a good price I would definitely recommend people to go to the Precise Auto Repair, MD Service: General repairs & maintenance

My SUV was making loud noises, so I found this local auto repair shop using google search. I was skeptical initially due to my previous bad experience with mechanics. But this place is different. Brett is the owner of this shop. He is a very nice guy and apparently an experienced mechanic with many years in the field. Brett showed me what was wrong with my vehicle and laid out the costs for parts and labor of different options. The price was reasonable, and everything was on the table. Brett also showed me some extra steps they would do to maintain the quality of the job. The two mechanics on site were friendly and professional. The job was finished on time and well done. So far no complaint. I have been looking for a trustworthy and "go-to" mechanic in the local area, and I believe I have found it at Precise Auto Repair. I had to take some time out of my day to share my experience at this car shop . My transmission went out on my vehicle and I did not know where to begin . I found this car shop on Google and took a chance based off of the reviews. I m so glad I did. The owner Brett and his staff were so kind and made me feel like family.I had one of the best experiences here. Customer service was phenomenal. The shop was very clean and comfortable. Everything was explained to me from the beginning to end. I highly recommend this place. I honestly do not see myself going anywhere else just because I trust them. Trust is a big word but honestly I can say that Precise Auto stands behind who they are and what they are about. I m so happy that I found you guys and I appreciate all that you do. Thank you!

This place is great. I went in for a wheal alignment after being directed there by a local tire shop. Unfortunately, they found some other things that were wrong with the old car. I can t say I was surprised, control arm bushings can t last forever and those lasted longer than anyone could have reasonably expected.In any case, despite the quick job turning into a substantial repair, they stayed after-hours to complete all of the work that day, which was infinitely more convenient then being stranded without a car. As a result, I have to give them high marks for customer service and professionalism (they re knowledgeable and their pricing is fair).Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Brett and his team here at Precise are the best in the business. I went in for an alignment and ask them if they could also look into unfamiliar sounds around the wheels. The issue was quickly diagnosed. To my surprise, Precise was able to fix my issue with precision (no pun intended) at a very affordable cost. Pretty good experience so far. Mechanics seem knowledgeable and have an apt for diagnostic troubleshooting. I would pay for good diagnostic - anyone can fix cars but the idea is to perform the right kind of fixes.Owner is friendly and explains issues and only recommends needed repairs. Years of experience based knowledge also is a strong suit of this repair shop.

Brett was so helpful with figuring out what my vehicle needed fixed. He stayed in communication with me through it all. As I m from out of town & needed the repairs to be done in a timely matter. It was very affordable also! I would 10/10 recommend taking your vehicle here! Job well done!I would like to also add that I didn t feel like they added any unnecessary repairs to the list of things needing to be fixed. These guys saved me $17,000! I had taken my car to Suburban Infiniti in Novi for an oil change and to check on some issues I was experiencing. They told me I needed to replace my engine and it would cost $14-17,000! What?!We were freaking out. So we took it to Precise Auto for a second opinion. Brett asked a lot of questions and immediately said that it didn't sound like I needed a new engine. He and his team did a complete deep dive to uncover what was wrong - and found out the dealership didn't even change the oil or the oil filter, and I certainly didn't need a new engine. It cost me $750 to fix the issues I was experiencing - Precise Auto Repair saved me at least $12,800!! It's been 8 weeks and my car is still running like new. GO SEE PRECISE AUTO REPAIR!! They are honest, and they care about their customers. Do NOT go to Suburban Infinti - ever.

Brett and Corey completed a thorough diagnostic of my car, texted me the results, walked me through the issue, and helped me pick the most cost-effective solution while also saving me 40% of what a dealership was going to charge. Brett also insisted on giving me a ride home when I had to leave my car with them for the repair, which shows an appreciation for the customer. I had front struts and timing belt replaced by Brett and his team. They gave me an instant quote when I initially stopped by and as you can imagine, it was significantly lower than the dealer upcharge. What really impressed me was when they were done with the service, they showed me the old part and explained why it needed to be changed. The experience was well above what you expect from a typical auto repair shop.
