December 18th 2024. I was visiting the area from Iowa. And my battery would no longer start my car. My husband ordered the battery. New wiper blades and washer fluid online from Iowa. I got a jump, went into the store and told them why I was there. It was very quick, very easy. And the most important part is the wonderful staff that helped me Install the battery and the wiper blades and the washer fluid. And they never lost patience with me despite the fact that I could not find the hood release. It's good to know that There is still good customer service in the auto industry. Thanks to the staff that was so helpful.

Amazing experience with Advance Auto Parts. I had three separate issues occur with my car. John (the manager) went above and beyond to help me find the correct parts at an affordable price. I could not recommend Advance Auto Parts enough!

I understand the sales person should lead with the best priced item, but how about presenting the customer with the least priced item also,a 35% mark-up is a little stiff,this store actually earn a star for being open and night

Generally, I always go to AutoZone for my car parts. I always have. However, I saw that AAP was having a Labor Day sale on brake pads and rotors, which is exactly what I needed. The deal was 20% off 2 rotors and 2 pads and you'd get a nice free pair of mechanix gloves by using the Labor Day code, which I did. I paid, got the discount, and was excited about the gloves as I needed some new ones. This morning I went to go pick up my order, which was there, and asked about my gloves but both employees shook it off. I told them it's on their website and I qualified for the promo because I used the promo code. They literally acted like they'd never heard of anything like this. The dude literally threw a pack of rubber gloves at me and said, "here," as if this was the same as a pair of mechanix gloves. I told him the deal is for real gloves, not for rubber gloves, and the other employee told me I should just contact corporate. What a joke. I'm sure AAP Corporate didn't list this deal wanting everyone who should get a pair of gloves to contact them. I ONLY got these parts from AAP and not AutoZone because of the free gloves, which I was refused. I will never go to AAP again. AutoZone has never screwed me like this and had I know it was going to be like this I would have gone with their Labor Day sale. If I had more time I'd return the parts but sadly I don't. Lesson learned.

My battery died at 8:pm. I was able to get a jump start and go get a battery. Not only did they offer to test my old one before I purchased a new one. But the replaced my battery for me at the store in this cold!I am forever grateful to the two employees I had the pleasure of doing business with! My only regret. I did not get their names...Thank you so much.

I had the worst service I've ever ran into. NILES MICHIGAN store. I ordered online and payed for everything. Went to pick it up for my son and the lady canceled the order, because she couldn't find it. But the other person went and found it with no problem. I think she could have used the extra work out to walk back and look for it. Any way I had to go back and get my son to pay for it.

I drove from South Haven to Niles (an hour drive each way) because their computer said they had the part. Roger had to ask Mellisa 4 times what the part number was, he said he could not find the part. Mellisa called somebody who told her where it was at, so she told Roger where to look. He still could not find the part, i think he was just to embarrassed to ask for the 5th time what the part number was. I ended up leaving the store and driving back to South Haven without the part. If you call for a part, make sure you tell them to grab it off of the shelf before you trust them and their computer.

Yesterday I went to Advance Auto to get a new battery for my Equinox. The lady behind the counter sent a guy out to try to figure out what size my engine was as I m not that knowledgeable about that sort of thing. He couldn t find anything. I finally found it by going through paperwork in the glove box. I was given options on what was in stock and purchased the best available. The lady even put it in the back of my Equinox for me. I made it to work today and at lunch I went out and switched out my battery. People were surprised that Advanced Auto didn t switch it out for me. I had no idea they did that. After work I took the old battery back to the store. I asked the guy behind the counter if they installed car batteries. He was very adamant in stating that He would NOT install a battery that had been taken off property. I said that I wasn t asking him to. Then I realized that he wasn t even paying attention to me. He was focused on what the people at the next counter were talking about. I told him that I would be happy to wait while he took care of them. He said No. Give me your receipt. I tried to ask again if they installed car batteries and if so, why the install wouldn t have been mentioned when I purchased the battery. He told me again that he wouldn t do it because the battery had been taken off property. I said that I wasn t asking him to install it. I had already done that. Thus the old battery sitting in front of him. He finally said that he doesn t know why they didn t install it because he wasn t there yesterday.I m disappointed that installation wasn t even offered when I purchased the battery. I m disgusted by the way I was treated when I brought the core back. I will NEVER step foot in that store again. There are plenty of auto parts stores in the area that it isn t a problem to go down the road a block.

This place is absolutely horrible I used to like going there but I went to one another city this one in Niles is horrible they left me on hold for 15 minutes kept putting me back on hold so O'Reilly's was more than happy to get me in the door and out the door and a couple minutes so I definitely recommend AutoZone or O'Reilly's over this advance Auto they are horrible I never even got a price check on an item because they had me no hold so long

Purchased headlights from here that ended up dying less than two months after I got them. I was extremely appreciative to have pulled in your parking lot before 8 o clock and you re overweight workers ran to the door to hurry up and lock it instead of having to deal with a customer so I have to drive at night with no headlights and an infant child.Furthermore I greatly appreciated yet again having to spend more gas money to have to drive back to your store to get my money back for my headlights that were supposed to be covered under warranty because you need the old ones. This is a lot of work for headlights that cost $70 that only lasted a month and a half. Most certainly will not be shopping with you guys again after this experience.

Guys were great/helpful as always in helping me find the light connector for trailer lights. One of the guys was on his back on the cold ground to verify I had the right one. Connector plug was less than I anticipated (and what I paid prior at uhaul).Store also tests and charges batteries for free! Who does stuff for free these days?

They got me in and out in a jiffy but I took a core battery for a deposit and they added it to my total core charge is supposed to take away that amount

Man sitting un a chair behind counter didnt even get up to take care of us while we were asking for help, kept sitting in his chair while helping us. Told me to go to dealer. As walking out I saw the exact item needed told my husband that it's right there what the lazy man behind the counter told us to go to dealer to get. So we went down the street and got what we needed WITHOUT going to the dealer. YOU MAY WANT TO HAVE YOUR EMPLOYEES GET UP AND OFF THE CHAIRS. while working with customers to make them feel more welcome and not make them feel like they are a burden on your employees who just keep sitting while helping you. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Stop in the Niles mi store last night. employe not wearing a mask while I was yeah it's great you have take precautions so customer stay 6 ft away from the counter the employees are at greater risk passing the virus and another you don't have a choice to wear it your employer requires it.

Dude was awsome got me my part that no one else could auto zone didnt and couldn't get it orileys said they had it and lied when I got there all the sudden no one knew what I was talking about deff my new store I will be doing all my shopping for car and truck parts for my mechanic jobs at home thanks again dude 2000 ford focus ZX3 tensioner pulleys successfully all back together had to get that pulley after changing the water pump

This place has everything , but they didn't have the one part u needed for my truck today , but the guy working was real helpful and friendly , and he's the one who told me to go to Napa and they would have the part I needed ! So I'm giving them a thumbs up also for pointing me in the right direction and telling me where I could find it ! ( Almost unheard of these days , someone who is a competitor sending me to another parts store ! Thank you ,
