I get that businesses need to upcharge on parts and its a local shop but the cost for a belt tensioner and serpentine belt should not be 3x the price of FORDS PRICE. I took my car there the first time and they couldn't find any obvious issue. They put the belt on and charged me roughly $50. Thats totally fine. I bring it back in after it happens again and tell them if they can't find any obvious issue atleast replace the belt. They take it and then call me to tell me it's done and I owe $400. I never recieved a call to approve it. When asked he said "You already wanted the belt so we figured..." which was already bad. Then I look and the belt was $102 which was ridiculous. I asked why it was so expensive and was told its because they dont use cheap parts. FORD SELLS THEM FOR $65 and you can buy it from oemfordparts for $49 for motorcraft parts. Same with the tensioner. It was $159 for their price and $129 for Ford directly or $64 through oemfordparts which is motorcraft parts. Then based on the conversation it didn't really sound like they knew it was the tensioner. They just replaced it (without my approval) and hopefully that was it. Again, I get businesses require to upcharge but no way, is a 25% upcharge on what a Ford Dealership would cost me a good deal especially when it is a 56% upcharge on normal people parts.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance

I started an oil change on my vehicle and could not get the oil filter off. I tried everything. I got the car down to Six T auto and their staff was willing to help me get the filter off. I came back in about two hours and they had finished the job. They believe that the oil filter was put on too tight. Turns out they had to use an air chisel to get the filter off. Very knowledgeable staff, warm and friendly atmosphere. Their $$$ are more than fair for a small garage like this. Will go back again!!! THANK YOU SIX T AUTOMOTIVE.

They have worked on my car twice and both times great results! They have great customer service and went out of their way to help me by bringing my car to my work and dropping it off.Thanks a bunch!
