My main concern about this auto repair shop is that owner does not follow the State Law. My husband had his brakes replaced and did not receive a written estimate before the repairs were done. We were shocked when we were told the cost was approximately $960. Had we known the cost we would not have proceeded with the repairs.Michigan law requires the repair shop to give a written estimate when the cost of the repair is $20 or more. This means the estimate must be hand-delivered, faxed, mailed or emailed-whether or not the customer requests it.When I spoke to the owner regarding a written estimate he seemed oblivious to the State Law even though he had signs posted in his shop.This behavior is what gives auto repair shops a bad reputation.I have filed a complaint with the State even though the owner said that the State would not do anything.Service: Brakes

Do not recommend taking your vehicle to Green Street Garage. The problem with our car was misdiagnosed and their fix caused more issues, that they quickly denied were caused by them. They were incredibly rude on the phone when trying to speak to them about the additional problems.Took our car to another shop and they immediately diagnosed the issue with our car and was shocked that Green Street missed it.Wasted time and money.

I have always had a great experience at this shop. Their customer service is always exceptional, they always explain things clearly, they never overcharge for parts or labor, they will always tell you if there's an issue and be straightforward if there isn't. I've had several cars in this shop and recommend them to everyone. These are good people doing great work. Cannot recommend this shop enough and they have my continued support.

I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic, I was very surprised to find out they do diagnostics free of charge. When everything was said and done, I had a spark plug wiggling out of place, and was replaced free of charge ( simple fix)! They are very reasonable and respectful. My daughter's car was towed here after a small accident. They were very fair, patient and good to work with-a pleasant surprise for me! Thank you for being trustworthy, fair and honest!

These guys are Stellar. I usually wrench on my own automobiles. These are the only guys I let touch my vehicles besides me. They have helped me out of a jam a few times. Very knowledgeable and fast. The customer service is great. Jay is a very personable and intelligent guy along with everyone else there. Just all around awesome garage. Jay and his crew are wonderful! They get you in, repaired and on the road. He's repaired two of my vehicles, on one incident, he didn't charge me because the problem was simple to fix. There aren't many honest repair shops out here, but this is one. As a woman, I must say, this is one shop that doesn't take advantage of women. I recommend this place for anyone who's not automotive intelligent to go to Green Street Garage for repairs. At least you know that you'll get honest services and quotes and estimates that make sense. Thanks GSG!-Maurica

2008 Honda Civic Hybrid, brought it in for a CV Axle to be installed (part supplied), and diag for no lights/no crank. Ended up being just a battery. Reasonable prices & great customer service, in and out same-day. Convenient location with nearby restaurants, bathroom, and seating.

At one point I had a great review for you guys. But after all the work done and money I ve spent... I was recently informed that the parts I paid for and Blendor they fixed was never done at least not the way I was paying for it to be done. I was told they put in a whole new blendor from the dealership. But I was shown first had my blendor was never taken out of my car ever. Still had the stock one in it all dusty. Costed me upwards to 800 just for that repair. Thankfully my guys at Auto Dr were able to prove this to me and get my stuff fixed properly. Had to pay a little more but it was done right this time.

I was out of town, headed 5 hours south. The guys at Green St really helped me out when I was in a HUGE bind, and got me on the road a few hours later! I cannot thank them enough. If I were local, I would send all my business to them. Thanks for the tip on the BBQ restaurant while I was waiting!

Great customer service. They repaired our VW quickly and did not try to change out parts that were not needed. They will be my "go to mechanic" for all of our vehicles.

Stopped thru for an oil change. The staff was fast and friendly....the price competitive. I'll keep them in mind if I have a need for major repairs.

I went to green street garage with a engine issue was told $3800 for repairs and 1yr warranty engine never seemed right after repair went a few times to complain and was told it was fine 360days later less than 10000 miles engine failure went back and was told $4000 for another engine failure less than a year till warranty expires was snubbed and verbally abused by workerService: Engine repair
