Brought our Mercedes Benz that was having multiple issues to Mike. He was great to work with. Was very knowledgeable. Was a fair price and fast repairs since he knew it was our only vehicle. We knew that we needed a new vehicle and were looking at VW s and he even helped us with the pros and cons of the models we were interested in. Highly recommendService: General repairs & maintenance

Mike swapped the tires off my old heap and a couple of days later, the lugs on one loosened. I was driving to him to get new lugs when the tire came off while driving on US 41. Because it happened on the heels of the tire swap, he volunteered to make the repair at his expense, figuring that his work was responsible.More often than not, when I ve believed an auto service professional s work was the cause of a car s new problem, they have typically given me a version of you can t prove it was my fault. My conversation with Mike didn t even come to that point. He took responsibility before.I believe him to be a person of high character who retained my business and loyalty that day.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Body & Trim, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Battery

This was my first time going to Mike with my VW Jetta and I was NOT disappointed! I was referred here from a friend of mine and I m so happy I found a mechanic who actually cares about my vehicle and not just the money I am about the shell out. I was also pleasantly surprised at how affordable and quick the work was and he even made some of the lights on my dash go away that I though were strictly on because of an electrical problem! He sat and explained IN detail about what was going on and why it was going on and exactly how he planned on fixing it which I appreciated SO much. I am a young lady who doesn t know a whole lot about cars but I do know enough, and Mike never treated me like someone he could take advantage of because of my age and lack of knowledge. I highly recommend his shop! Thank you Mike, I will most certainly be back!

Highly recommend for anyone who has a Volkswagen/ import car. He takes his time and does awesome work. Also will take the time to explain to you whats wrong and why your car may be acting up. Other than the other mechanics I've seen, he cares about his work!! He's a super nice guy. He has taken the time to take apart and put my car back together 4 times until he found what was wrong!! turns out I needed a different axle than the one i previously bought from O'reillys which had a bad tone ring. After months of putting it off my ABS that kept kicking on is now all fixed! The prices are not bad either!!

Was stranded in town with a non-starting Saab. Of 4 places in town I called, Mike was the only guy willing to squeeze me into his packed schedule and take a look at it. He correctly diagnosed the problem in minutes and had the replacement part in-hand the next morning. I was on the road shortly thereafter. Fair pricing, excellent work, great person to work with. Thanks Mike!

When the tranny started going out on my automatic '01 Jetta, I wanted to have a 5 speed manual put in it. I checked multiple transmission shops, and they all quoted WAY high on a new AUTO trans, which are junk, and refused to tackle the 5 speed swap. When I finally called Mike at International Autohaus, he agreed to do it, having done multiple swaps just like this, and he talked with me about the job for quite awhile. I could tell he knew what he was doing. Once he had all the parts to do it, he had it all put together pretty quick, and did an excellent job. The trans works perfect, the price was right, and Mike was a kind, and knowledgeable guy to work with. Highly recommend this shop to anyone with a VW or import car. Thanks Mike!

Very poor customer service. I had to cancel an appointment twice due to unforseen circumstances. First was a flat tire with misshapen lug nuts that required me buying new tools to replace, I called days in advance to cancel. Second was a severe snowstorm with accidents along the highway that caused the person giving me a ride back to Marquette to cancel on me. I called the international autohaus to reschedule, and they very rudely told me not to bother making a new appointment with them. After reading some of the other reviews online, I feel like I dodged a bullet.

I've visited this shop about a dozen times because Mike is the most reasonable, straightforward, friendly, and patient import-mechanic I've ever met. Since visiting his shop for the first time I haven't taken a vehicle to anyone else.

I brought in my 2006 Audi a4 because it was making a strange noise. He told me that I would need a new engine and it'd cost about $5,000. I then brought it to a place in Negaunee to get looked at and they said all that's wrong is a few loose parts costing me $150. Do not trust this place. Always go to more then one place to get checked.
