I highly recommend West Michigan Small Engine Repair! Just had a zero turn in as a "get running". Fuel change, battery, filter, carb cleaning and more...I was pleasantly surprised at the value! Service manager stayed late while I struggled with the other zero turn in the rain and with locked brakes. Professional vehicle intake and information management....detailed! And even at the busiest time of the year...fast turn around time...in fact shocking!

I have used West Michigan Small Engine Repair for upkeep on my snowblower and lawnmower over the years. Every time a machine comes back, it feels like it is brand new. The owner is very polite & personable and the prices are fair. I have (and will continue to) recommend their service to anyone that should need it. It is definitely worth giving them a shot.

I will not be going back to West Michigan Small Engine Repair.I dropped my mower off in May, and it took 6 weeks(!) to get it back. After stopping in several times to inquire, the owner/Manager said that they would deliver when it was done. On the day it was finished, I got a call saying I could come pick it up. They did not deliver it as he said.When I arrived, no effort was made to "make things right"; I was charged full price and sent on my way.I get it... I am just a home-owner with a lawn. I am not a business. I only have 1 riding mower, not a whole fleet. This shouldn't stop basic customer service and trying to keep the customer happy.Given other choices in the area, I will not be going back there again.

These guys are great!! Helped me out with a snowblower that was to big for me. They have worked on a lawn tractor for me and other small engine repairs. Theses are the honest people you want working on your things that need repairs. Very fair priced!! Don't mess around call them!!!!

Called them to repair a belt and do a tune up on my lawnmower. They came and picked it up, and I even had them pick up my power washer last minute with no issues. I can't stress enough how well of a job they did on my mower. It's a nine year old mower that runs like brand new. Great service, great customer service skills, and reasonable priced. Highly recommend these guys.

They may be good when they get around to your item. I unfortunately did not have the time to wait for a carb cleaning. Was told at drop off there were 6 ahead of me. I picked it up a few days later untouched. I'm not sure how many items are worked on per day guess my expectations were higher than reality. As friendly as the employee was I left disappointed. They should have a realistic line display for customer service instead of just saying "you are in line, we do in the order it came in." I ended up taking elsewhere and it was done with in 3 hours, was told the main jet was plugged. Do not plan on returning anytime soon.

Five stars are barely enough. Lawnmower tune up is very reasonably priced to start with, then $10 off with coupon. They do a lot for the price. In addition, they had to do a couple of extra things in my case, and they didn't charge me any more. Two very positive experiences with them. Highly recommended.

West Michigan Small Engine repair picked up my snowblower to be serviced, very happy about that! They brought it back within the time allotted. The machine itself purrs like a kitten and no longer leaks gas in my garage. They are very professional and I would highly recommend them!

Excellent customer service! Friendly, professional, fast and efficient. Picked up, tuned up, repaired, cleaned and returned my riding lawnmower within a few days. Highly recommend this local company.

We brought out mower in to be looked at because the blades wouldn't engage. They said it would be about 10 day. On the 11th day we called and asked them about it. They first didn't know what we were talking about. Then he checked on something. Came back and said it should be done today. So we asked if we could pick it up tomorrow and he said well wait for.us to call first. 2 days went by and we called again. Got the run around. We called again and told them were just going to come get it. When we got there it was miraculously done. We had them do a tune up which came with a wash, blades sharpened and some other things. It wasn't washed. And they guy had no idea about fixing the blades because they wouldn't engage. Would not recommend they seem to not have their stuff together.

I started out need to ATVs carburetors rebuilt. I look them up on google and give them a call. I speak to Jerry (sorry if spelled it wrong) and I tell him I have 2 ATVs that the engine need fixing, I explain that they run if I spray starter fuels into the cabs but they won t run from the gas tank. He tells me to hold on to talk to the service technician. After a couple of minutes he comes back and says yes we can do that. I ask him how long the turn around is and he says it is usually a week or so but we offer 24 hour turnaround for $40 more, great I said I ll be right down. He said we close in 30 minutes how far away are you I say 15 minutes he said okay as long as we know you re coming down we will wait. I rush and pack everything on the trailer and off I go. I get to the location and walk into the service area and the repair technician Ron is there he looks out the window and said, well I don t think this is going to happen. I say well I just talked to Jerry and he said come down Ron now says yeah I talked to him about it but now that I see them we can t do it. I explained how Jerry even said we can do 24 hour turnaround, Ron s answer is we wouldn't be able to do that. I understand that might be a stretch but if you don t have the capability of doing somethimn don t waste people s time by saying you can. That being said I wouldn t use this place find someplace else that actually cares about people and their lives thanks for wasting my time guys great job.Well let me reply to this. I m sure after the year has gone by you remember what took place. These are 2 vintage 1980 s Honda atv s that you didn t even come out and look at, you looked out of the window. So After I had the issue with this place I took my 2 Honda Atv s to bill s sport shop. They are a true Honda repair shop, they found the correct Honda parts and repaired them promptly. Thanks Bill s. The problem is you just didn t care, and you made me drive down there for nothing but a waste of my time. I m not sure how you care about your time but I value mine. It s not a Hugh deal now that I found Bill sport shop.
