Ever since I started going to G&K I have never been disappointed. They are honest, fair and I even have my family taking their cars in now. I ask many questions and they are very patient with me. No need to look elsewhere.

We recently purchased a car for our granddaughter that GK automotive had repaired for years. The car was in his shop for a couple small issues that GK automotive would not let go until they were corrected. Upon inspection Greg found a few more issues that needed repaired before they would let the car leave the shop. GK Automotive took care of the needed repairs at no additional cost because he wanted the car to be correct, I highly recommend this repair facility!!! Great honest repair facility that you can count on

My car died on me out of nowhere, had it towed to their lot and they got the starter fixed up within a day. Huge relief to have it working again so fast! Thank you guys!

I have been going to them for many years. I wouldn't take my vehicles any where else. They are very knowledgeable and professional. They fix the transmission, and it was in multiple times after. They could not diagnose without a code and when the code came up it was oxygen and the cat code. Waiting to see if it does it again and I will check the diagnostics next time. Still shifts hard but they have tried and put it in several times so I give them credit. If it keeps up I'm sure they will fix it if it's their fault based on reviews

Highly recommend this place. I usually use the Muffler Man on Wood and Apple. Due to an forces outside of my control they couldn't help me when my 2009 Volkswagen Rabbits clutch went out. I turned to Reddit, yes reddit. We have Muskegon sub lol. After calling 5 different places and getting quotes I went with G & K. They were fantastic with their pricing. I knew that this would be pricey. Yet they managed to keep it under 1500 even with an unforseen issue they ran into. Great customer service, super friendly and my bunny shifts like a champ again.

Was on a road trip when I started hearing an awful noise from my brakes. They were able to get me in and out quickly and for a reasonable price! Highly recommended!!!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

My wife and I live in southeast Michigan. We came up here for a few days vacation. But the sensor on our cooling system went bad. Leaving us with no A/C or a temperature gauge. After calling a number of dealers and shops here, No one would help until next week. Even after I explained our story. I then called G & K Automotive. After telling them my story he had both integrity and compassion to let me bring my car to him even when he was booked up. He repaired my car in a timely fashion and he didn t overcharge me. I was between a rock and a hard place. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone. May God bless him and his shop.Service: Air conditioning

Called in and thought I made an appointment on Monday for my jeep and when I called the day before to make sure I was in, no answer. Call the morning if my appointment and I was told I never got put in the system. Made it easy to pick a different shop.

my car was running fine one day, the next it wouldnt start at all -i had nooo idea what to do or where to take it until a friend suggested i have it towed to G &K -the staff were all friendly and professional and even tho we didnt get my car towed until late in the the day, they had it fixed and running like new by the next day!i won't hesitate to use their services again -thanks again G&KSINCERELY,Pam Bouchard

Took my car here a twice to figure out why my car was stalling, jerking when stopping, etc. check engine light stayed on and car drives the exact same way. I understand that sometimes with cars you end up chasing a problem not his fault. But what does need to be addressed is his TERRIBLE customer service skills. Yes, he can be nice and friendly until he is frustrated and that is completely unacceptable. when you are a business owner or work in customer service in general the last thing you can do is yell, scream, or speak condescendingly to customers when you get frustrated while trying to explain something, but that is exactly what he did when my mother asked for explanation about why my check engine light was still on. Instead of staying professional and explain the service like any normal person he started the conversation off with a condescending tone and as time went on and his frustration increased he lashed out, and started yelling and screaming at her. When it was addressed he said he talks to all of his customers that way. Typically, I don t even waste my time writing reviews like this but if you re a women who wants to be treated with respect regardless of if someone is frustrated or not then you should seek service elsewhere.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

G&K will get your vehicle right in and get your repair done in a very timely manner. The best thing is they tell you they will call you when it is done, and they actually do. And always a fair price.

I was having electrical issues they fixed it for a reasonable price. The mechanic took extra time to make sure everything was good to go when I arrived. Great service
