I always thought I'd remain a Subaru Mom, but I honestly could NOT be happier with my new Trailblazer! WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY while buying a car back in April I told the salesman the most important thing to me was making sure I had a full warranty on what ever I ended up buying. Well let's fast forward 10 months to today, I have a wheel bearing going out as well as a small oil leak and bad breaks with warped rotors, which I brought up before buying the car and they said they "cleaned" them up for me. Well I brought it in to get that warranty work done just to find out absolutely nothing is covered and that I got the bare minimum power train warranty.. I was told it was bumper to bumper coverage just like I had asked for. And then they asked me for $4000 to fix everything lol I highly recommend going else where for a car as these salesman are shady and only care about making a check. However if you do choose to go with these guys MAKE SURE YOU HAVE FULL PROOF OF EVERYTHING as our appointment went past 5pm and I was being rushed to sign everything and get me out the door

So here s my review. My transmission got replaced by someone I can trust at betten but at my expense. which I am not happy for at all, it had been misdiagnosed 4x over the course of 3 years I am in contact with General Motors as to the appropriate next steps. I want everyone to know the frustrations I have with betten baker of Muskegon. Their customer service is absolute garbage and their mechanics at the time of 2020 were careless and overlooked a major issue. I put my trust with my car that I paid close to $30,000 for in their hands I not only put my trust in them with my car but also my life as well as other s both in the car and on the road. All the trips I should have taken and the enjoyment I should have gotten out of this car for how new it was, I wasn t able to experience that due to my own fear, which was validated that something was seriously wrong with it. got my first 2019 malibu brand new June 2019. The car was a birthday gift to myself for working too damn hard. I had to unfortunately get a new malibu August of 2019 due to the computer not programming to the car itself which completely was out of my control. I got that car August of 2019 and had to unfortunately bring it in July of 2020. 11 months after having it, I felt issues with hesitation, and loss of acceleration. They had the car for a day and said nothing was wrong and returned it. Then continued to have issues and I brought it back in October 2020. Same issue as described and same outcome, no issues, car is fine, no lights and it was returned. I tried to wait it out, self troubleshoot for a bit, made sure to put nothing but mid grade fuel (suggested) new cabin filter, fuel additive to clean any possible buildup or deposits, with no resolution. Then the next month in November I bring it in again for the same I thought maybe the issue was the AC unit cause it was bogging out when AC was on. They found AC is fine and car is fine and it was returned. After 3 attempts I felt like I was going crazy, maybe the car is fine? I waited, I tried and tried and thought maybe this is just the CVT transmission, they told me this was normal for a CVT transmission. Then here it is 2023 and I feel like it s 10x worse but can t afford to get it in and finally in 2024 I decided to bite the bullet and bring it in. January 10th, they test drove it and what do you know, no issues. Car is at 100% fine, nothing felt by technician and no codes So I tell them to keep it, drive it another day. January 11th comes around, they drive it for 7 miles which I have evidence of, as I m able to track my car anywhere she goes. They call me that afternoon, nothing is wrong with the car, everything is fine, please come get it. I tell them to drive it more, needs more miles driven for it to act the way it has been. January 12th rolls around which is Friday, yet again they drive it but for a whole 15 miles this time and they call me to tell me yeah the car is fine YET AGAIN. One of the mechanics says to the advisor that was assigned to my car, hey let me take this car home for the night to see if I can feel what s going on. The next morning Betten Baker calls me to tell me the car needs a new transmission .. This was the reason I brought it in back in 2020 3x And for an advisor just Friday morning to drive the car and tell me there is nothing wrong, to not even a whole 5 hours later, another mechanic driving it home Friday night to come into work and tell them there is something seriously wrong, and it ll be 6,000 because it s now out of warranty (by 7,000 miles) and it s on me because I didn t bring it back into them since 2020. I have had help with half of the payment to get the car fixed. Still managing to put a smile on my face because now I have to get rid of my car because of Betten Chevrolet Cadillac GMC Buick failed me as well as my car!! When I tell you I am far from happy with this business and I would never send anyone there again! The customer service I got yet again was far from par. I will never purchase from them again.

We were greeted in the first moment we arrived at the dealership by Jon. He was so personable and friendly, it felt like we were dealing with a long time friend. We told him what we were looking for and what we could spend and he made it happen, with a little help from Andrew, the manager. I typically don't look forward to the car buying process, but Jon and the sales staff at Betten Baker made it an absolute joy.

BETTEN CHEVROLET in Muskegon, Michigan must be one of the highest price auto service places anywhere!I just paid Over $1,460.00 for an oil change and filter and to have a coolant line replace for the transmission and the Motor oil coolant line replaced!I feel robbed, taken advantage of and I feel like an idiot! Never, ever again will I even consider bettens of Muskegon. IMO it's a RIP OFF! At leastI'm smarter for it now. I will warn everyoneI know and beyond! IMO (strong opinion)don't go there for any repairs! Other things they priced out for me would have been almost $7,000.00. No joke!Another certified repair company in town quoted $1,300.00.If you go there after reading this then you deserve to pay their ridiculous prices!BEWARE! YOU'VE NOW BEEN MADE AWARE!

Jason Chester went ABOVE and BEYOND for our family! We had purchased a vehicle and had multiple problems, traded it in and purchased another with multiple problems, and the final straw it not starting after having it back only a week from service. Jason went out of his way to bring us another vehicle option and helped us get our vehicle jumped, started, and safely back to the dealer. He then gave us time to check out the vehicle he had lent us. He was able to make us a GREAT deal that fit our budget, a trade-in value that was excellent, a new set of tires (as we had just purchased them on our previous one), and a AWESOME warranty that will protect us in the future! He was positive and helpful through the entire experience when he could have been negative and frustrated with us. He listened to us and showed respect for our finances and family.
