Fair prices. Good food. Super people and Staff.Always ready with help if you need directions when you sled breaks. Plus they have a few sledding trails behind there facility. It s a great spot to set up your sled if ya need to do some tweaking. Or testing new parts.

I'm really confused by a lot of these reviews. Our time spent here was really great. We traveled from Indianapolis to stay here for snowmobiling. Our room was HUGE - practically an apartment. You have a small living room, fridge, microwave, bathroom with tub and shower, and a separate room with a king sized bed.Even though the hotel was full, no vacancy, we never heard our neighbors. It was a really peaceful stay. Everything was clean and although the building is older, it was obvious that it was well taken care of and loved.I see a lot of people complaining about the bed but I really think what is happening is folks go out to atv, snowmobile, ski, whatever and come back sore. They go to sleep and wake up more sore but it's 100% not the bed, it's just the good feeling of being worn out from physical activity. That bed was amazing after a busy busy day.I also appreciate that they are so dog friendly. We brought our malamute along and he had a blast. All the folks on property were happy to see him and the pet charge was completely reasonable. There is a breakfast/dinner available on the property and both are really well done. They were so tasty and warm. The servers were so friendly! There was also a rental barn on the property so when our old sleds died, we were able to quickly rent new ones so we never slowed down.We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back next season.

I work there so some may find this review biased, but let me assure you IT IS NOT. We have great food at great prices. We have a full bar (for the most part...we do run out of certain things pretty quickly) and food comes out very fast. You will always encounter a friendly bartender and or server who will be glad to make you an amazing drink while telling you about the dinner special for that evening!

We had reserved 3 rooms but when one of our group was ill we canceled one room, we were informed that we were 2 hours late of the "48 hour" cancellation period and we would have to pay for the room. We didn't think that was right but kind of understood the position that we made a reservation and they shouldn't loose money. When we arrived we found out they were sold out and asked to refund our money. The manager was rude and berated us by saying "you really are not going there are you". We simply asked for the room we were charged for or our money back or a credit. She informed us we didn't deserve a refund or a room. I won't be back. A positive note, the restaurant was good and the staff was dining staff was excellent.

I went with a group of 8 to snowmobile. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I had a king size bed with another room attached. This proved to be helpful when watching a game. All the guys fit in to watch. We all rented snowmobiles right on the property. The machines are brand new and well maintained. A few issues arose, through NO fault of the hotel, and those issues were handled to perfection. The owner, Bill Ramsey, was onsight. He went above and beyond to help us get back on the trails quickly. Overall, I was very happy with our choice of lodging. We will be back next year to snowmobile again.

Old run down place. There is no restaurant hot tub was not working and could not use water because if bacteria. Also almost every door looked as if the were taped together. Breakfast consisted of pre cooked french toast and pancakes some bananas yogurt and two kinds of cereal. The only thing good was the friendly staff.

Liars, told us the pools open but they weren't sure if the hot tub would be. We get there and neither is open but all the hotels around are open and cheaper, save some money and stay where they'll atleast be honest with you

This is not a big city luxury hotel. You are in the Northwoods! For a snowmobiler, it is conveniently located and has all you could ask for. Clean rooms, an indoor pool and hot tub, sled rentals, bar, and restaurant. The staff were all friendly and helpful - Trudy, Tammy, Angie, Kris, Mike, and of course Katie. If you want to ride some great trails, have a good meal and a few drinks, then get a good nights sleep, this is the place.

DO NOT STAY HEREHotels website advertised a pub, restaurant, sauna, hot tub and pool and ALL were closed. I called on a Friday to make reservations the following Sunday through Wednesday and the woman on the phone charged us the full price and didn't tell me that any of the advertised amenities were closed. This was a guys trip and we were very unhappy with the hotel. I couldn't have even allowed my wife and kid to stay here for a night. We stayed for just one night of our 3 night stay and left. Kris at the front desk was incredibly rude when we complained about all of the close amenities and she displayed some of the worst customer service imaginable. After leaving the hotel and finding somewhere else we asked all of the locals at pubs and restaurants what they thought about the Cherrywood Lodge (sign out front says Econo Lodge) and all of the locals said that they have heard nothing but terrible things about it and that they would never stay there.Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money.

Friendly service! Newer snowmobiles to ensure no problems. Complimentary breakfast and great price for the hotel. Will definitely be back.

It's not clearly marked that the Cherrywood Lodge is an Econolodge on the sign out front, so it's easy to miss. Rooms were clean except for the floors and shower. WiFi did not work, and there was not enough parking for all of the guests. In all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodations in Munising because of the value.

Rooms are a bit rough. AC did not work well. Hot tub was down, no microwave in the room and the bathroom was in need of a remodel.
