I was immediately met by the team at the Nissan dealer in Monroe, Michigan and asked how they could help (this was not my experience at other dealers, I had to search someone out). After talking for a few minutes, I was introduced to A.J. Gerweck and we talked through what I was looking for, I went for a test drive, and then he walked me through the different deals they could offer. I let him know I had one more place I wanted to look, he said no problem, took my number, and followed up with me a couple hours later to see what I thought. I stopped in the next day and bought my car, great experience from start to finish. Low hassle, great service and great price.Will definitely be buying our next car from them in the near future.

Horrible customer service excessively overpriced I would recommend taking your car or getting a car from anywhere else. In response to freedom of speech with inaccurate slander is really becoming of a business owner. My husband simply asked you to waive a overpriced diagnostic. Behaving like you are is embarrassing. Keep the money and we'll certainly take our business elsewhere.

We were treated extremely well right from the beginning to the end by each one of them we encountered.Even second trip back A.J. Was very patient going over all the buttons and things on the dash and radio.John Gerweck was very nice , informative and good to work with.The above review was my first experience with them. I am now a return customer. They are always friendly, patient, informative and take care of even the minor requests . Excellent service, wonderful people. Very pleased with both purchases and any maintenance care in between as well.

Very bad experience with this dealership. I purchased a used car off their lot and within 2000 mile of driving it, it had major electrical issues that were unable to be fixed. Their responses to this review should mean nothing to people reading it, I am not being hostile, just honest. The car was purchased as is, drove it for about 2000 mile and had only had it 6 months before it started acting crazy all the dash lights would light up it would rev, the dials would move up and down and the transmission wouldn't fully shift ( couldn't drive faster than 20mph)but upon taking to a different dealership to have it fixed, it had been serviced there for electrical issues in the past, which Gerweck never disclosed to be. So it was the most expensive lesson of my life. If you are buying a used car there and they offer the extended warranty I highly suggest you purchase it because In my experience you will need it.I will let you know the dealership responded that they did disclose electrical issues, but I will 100% guarantee that they didn't.I would never have purchased it. I already had one reliable vehicle to drive and was in no real hurry to find a car.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and asked to have my transmission also looked at as it was engaging very hard from reverse into drive ONLY on the initial start out in the morning and at NO other time .never while driving under normal operations only after initial cold start. All of which was specifically told to the service manager before bringing the car in. I even brought the car in the night before the service to ensure it was checked on a cold start because again this is the ONLY time the problem occurs. When I received a call from the service manager the following day indicating my vehicle was ready for pick up, I asked about the transmission issue and I was informed that the mechanic could not replicate the issue. I asked how much my total for the service was and informed over $200. I asked how much for the diagnostic work and was advised $149.00 for an hour of trouble shooting. I was informed the mechanic test drove the car, checked the transmission fluid (included as part of the routine fluids check) and ran a code check, which was also negative. There were absolutely no notes in the repair order as to what was done to check the transmission that would indicate any more than 15-20minutes, at best to test drive and scan the codes. Upon my arrival to pick up my vehicle I asked the mechanic to please sit in the car to listen for the hard shift on the initial shift from reverse to drive. It was noticed, not as hard as usual, but noticed. The mechanic acknowledged the hard shift and advised that there had been a bulletin on the issue and stated that there was no recall or repair noticed published but more of an informational bulletin on the matter and was recommended a fluid change which normally is between 80-90k miles. My car has 96k. Knowing this information was out there, I would have gladly paid the $149 towards a transmission fluid change if contacted with the information that the issue couldn t be replicated by the mechanic. But rather I believe I was overcharged for a 15 -20 minutes of a diagnostic test drive and code check. When I talked to the service manager and voiced my concern she replied we don t operate like that, if it says 1 hr the mechanic worked for an hour . It certainly would have been nice to see what diagnostic work, if any, was conducted beyond a test drive and code test to justify the 1 hr of diagnostic labor. I have had all my services and repairs performed on my vehicle at your shop for the past 4 years and this was the first time I have felt unsatisfied with my experience and the lack of cooperation from the service manager.Respectfully,Michael Thomas

I couldn t be more satisfied with my experience with AJ at Gerweck. He was extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered every question in a very straight forward manner.We never felt any pressure to make a decision, give our personal info up front, test drive a car, choose a particular model/color, or ANYTHING.I also loved how we didn t get passed along to different people throughout the process- he handled the financing, extra warranty, etc.Thank you!

My credit is not great and I am in the process of rebuilding it. Staff there proceeded to act like they were going to work with me than stopped answering my emails. My son and I went to Crest Lincoln and bought his chevy Impala there. We ended up paying cash for it !

STOP LYING ABOUT SELLING BAD CARS OFF YOUR LOT,IT TOOK U THIS LONG TO TO EVEN RESPOND,WARNING PEOPLE OF MONROE, DONT BUY USED CARS HERE,U ARE ATERRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND U GUYS KNOW WHAT U DID,I CAUGHT THIS DEALERSHIP SELLING BAD CARS OFF THERE LOT,THEY WILL NEVER SATISFY THIS COMPAINT,THEY WONT EVEN CONTACT ME,AS EVERYONE CAN SEE THEY DONT KNOW HOW RESPOND TO THERE LIES AND DECEIT,IAM ACERTIFIED LICENSED MECHANIC AND BUSSINESS OWNER 50 YEARS EXPERINENE,, CANT BELIEVE THEY THEY DID THIS TO ME AD MY DISABLED PARTNER, GERWECK FAMILY HAS NOT ATTEMPTED TO SATISFY MY COMPLAINT YET,4/15/2023,FACTS ARE ,I WILL BE WATCHING U FROM HERE ON OUT TO DO THE RIGHT THING ,AND THE PEOPLES OF MONROE WILL KNOW ABOUGHT YOUR DIRTY DEEDS AS A CAR DEALER,BOUGHT A USED CAR AS IS, U DONT DESERVE TO KEEP THE 12,000 DOLLARS U TOOK FROM US,STOP LYING ABOUT IT A.J,U ARE A EMBARRASSMENT TO MON OE,U KNOW THIS CAR HAD A BLOCKED CATALYTIC CONVERTER,AND ABAD ENGINE,SHAME ON U GUYS,LESS THEN 6 months and 4,177 ,U guys got caught selling bad cars off your lot 50 years experinence, any warranty company would have seen this as pre-existing,gerweck family should be ashamed of two men that sit in front of store, the way I was treated today with severe anger and violent behavior from the younger one and told to get out as soon as he came in to the office where i sitting as the elder man watched and did nothing, they did not want to hear my complaint about a bad car they sold to my disabled partner,shame on you both, he was upset about a Google review I new nothing about it,the facts are,we bought a car from them and 4000 miles later,found out,this car had a blocked catalytic converter and engine failure, this car had these issues when we left the dealership.used car over 100000 miles on it,paid full price for it ,Pryor to the 100000 miles,car was using oil that damaged the catalytic converter,4000 miles later the engine gave out and another dealership verified converter was contaminated with engine oil,in the defense of gerweck dealership, they might not have known this car had these issues,somehow this car fell thru the cracks and sold to usq from his lot but today I tried to talk to them and basically was walked to the door was told to get out. The younger man was very treating, speaking loud and in very violent way like he was going to attack me,this dealership does not know how to deal with people or a simple complaint like mind.the facts are we bought a used car as is,the law is on there side,but what about the great customer service I see in the reviews, people should never be treated this way,it's called communication,I was told by the younger man,I should have known better to buy a car with over 100000 miles on it from his lot,I have been in this business 50 years,as a mechanic and auto shop owner,I have never seen people treated like this ,I gave them a chance to make this right today and they chose violence over communication.Warning if you do a Google review not in there favor,they will kick you out of the dealership.thats what happened to me today.the lesson learned today, Don't buy a car with over 100000 miles on it,those words came from his mouth.this could have been resolved with communication, they chose verbal violence. I just wanted to see if we could do something because yes I was upset about buying a 6,ooo dollar engine for the car I bought from gerweck, but was thrown out today.very disrespectful, my partner is a cancer survivor with a lot of medical issues. Very disrespectful against disabled people,,I told him I was also disabled and he maid remarks and laughed about it.shamful,would you buy a car there..think about it.this car failed within 6 months ,4,177 miles on it, gerweck did not even look at the paperwork.this dealership is disrespectful to automotive industry,the only way this could ever be resolved ,gerweck dealership would have to pay me back,6 6000 dollars back for the bad engine. But now they can keep the dirty money.if u go the extra mile for your customers, u would have refunded money back.
